Emergent Loewner Dynamics in Slime Mold Growth

Growth fronts of slime molds are characterized through a direct geometric analysis based on Loewner evolutions, using experimentally acquired time-resolved images. The associated Loewner driving functions reconstructed from expanding pseudopod boundaries display statistical properties consistent with Gaussian-like behavior. A geometric estimate of the diffusivity parameter~$\kappa$ is inferred from fractal scaling, while Brownian diagnostics are assessed on the reconstructed driving signal. These findings show that the boundaries of a growing living organism display statistical and geometric properties consistent with emergent Loewner dynamics over experimentally accessible scales. This study establishes a quantitative framework for analyzing biological growth interfaces and suggests new connections between morphogenesis, stochastic geometry, and network reorganization under varying environmental conditions. We provide, to our knowledge, the first explicit reconstruction of a Loewner driving function from a living growth interface, revealing an emergent Brownian-like conformal growth regime at expanding fronts.

The finite volume method on Sierpiński simplices

In this work, we exploit Strichartz average approach \cite{Strichartz2001} to define the Laplacian on Sierpiński gasket, in the construction of the finite volume method. The approach present sum similarities with the finite difference approach in terms of stability and convergence.

The Finite Difference Method, for the heat equation on Sierpi\'{n}ski simplices

In the sequel, we extend our previous work on the Minkowski Curve to Sierpi\'{n}ski simplices (Gasket and Tetrahedron), in the case of the heat equation. First, we build the finite difference scheme. Then, we give a theoretical study of the error, compute the scheme error, give stability conditions, and prove the convergence of the scheme. Contrary to existing work, we do not call for approximations of the eigenvalues.

A spectral study of the Minkowski Curve

In the following, we give an explicit construction of a Laplacian on the Minkowski curve, with energy forms that bear the geometric characteristic of the structure. The spectrum of the Laplacian is obtained by means of spectral decimation.

Laplacian, on the Sierpinski tetrahedron

Numerous work revolve around the Sierpinski gasket. Its three-dimensional analogue, the Sierpinski tetrahedron, obtained by means of an iterative process which consists in repeatedly contracting a regular 3-simplex to one half of its original height, put together four copies, the frontier corners of which coincide with the initial simplex, appears as a natural extension. Yet, very few works concern the Sierpinski tetrahedron in the existing literature. We go further and, after a detailed study, we give the explicit spectrum of the Laplacian, with a specific presentation of the first eigenvalues. This enables us to obtain an estimate of the spectral counting function (analogous of Weyl's law)
