Comparing the Lee-Yang gap with the mass gap in the sub-critical planar Ising model
We prove that the subcritical mass gap is comparable to the Lee-Yang gap over free-boundary square boxes raised to the power $8/15$. Random-current moment bounds, a correlation inequality and a finite block expansion give the upper bound. The lower bound follows from the Lee-Yang product, the susceptibility and the critical magnetization. We also obtain uniform factorial bounds on the field derivatives of the pressure.
