Discrete and Ultradiscrete Mixed Soliton Solutions

We propose a new type of soliton equation, which is obtained from the generalized discrete BKP equation. The obtained equation admits two types of soliton solutions. The signs of amplitude and velocity of the soliton solution are opposite to the other. We also propose the ultradiscrete analogues of them. The ultradiscrete equation also admits the similar properties. In particular it behaves the original Box-Ball system in a special case.

The Baecklund transformation equations for the ultradiscrete KP equation

The Baecklund transformation for the ultradiscrete KP equation is proposed. An algorithm to eliminate variables from the ultradiscrete linear equations is proposed. The consistency condition for the Baecklund transformation equations is obtained via the algorithm.

Symmetric Linear Backlund Transformation for Discrete BKP and DKP equation

Proper lattices for the discrete BKP and the discrete DKP equaitons are determined. Linear Bäcklund transformation equations for the discrete BKP and the DKP equations are constructed, which possesses the lattice symmetries and generate auto-Bäcklund transformations

A Symmetric Generalization of Linear Bäcklund Transformation associated with the Hirota Bilinear Difference Equation

The Hirota bilinear difference equation is generalized to discrete space of arbitrary dimension. Solutions to the nonlinear difference equations can be obtained via Bäcklund transformation of the corresponding linear problems.
