Broad p-Wave Sommerfeld Resonances From Dimensional Deconstruction

We investigate whether dimensional deconstruction can qualitatively modify long-range forces. We show that the deconstruction of a five-dimensional AdS spacetime effectively generates an inverse-square potential, which naturally gives rise to broad p-wave Sommerfeld resonances without fine-tuning. We then apply this mechanism to dark matter phenomenology.

Annihilation of Secluded Dark Matter into W+W- Enhanced by P-wave Sommerfeld Effect

We propose that a pair of annihilation of the secluded dark matter may accommodate a source of the halo gamma ray signal reported recently, through the p-wave Sommerfeld enhancement. We show that given a weakly coupling of the dark sector to the Higgs bosons, the dark matter annihilation into W+W-, even though induced at 1-loop level, is desirably amplified. We also argue that the supersymmetric framework may readily embody such a model within rather minimal contents.

Leptogenesis from composite singlets

We argue that dual singlets accommodate the thermal leptogenesis in the context of metastable supersymmetry breaking. This framework suggests that the reheating temperature is as low as O(10^4) GeV, and besides the neutrino masses, solely induced from the dual fermions, are present at O(0.1) eV. We also expect that the unstable gravitino, though long-lived, may cause a clear signal of the neutrino flux at O(10) MeV.

Gauge mediation without gravitino problem by virtue of the QCD anomaly

We consider the possibility that the Peccei-Quinn charged dynamical supersymmetry breaking (DSB) of m_{3/2}=O(eV) for the Intriligator-Seiberg-Shih model, an axion, converted from a Nambu-Goldstone boson, could become a dark matter candidate, while the QCD anomaly and a sizable μvalue are naturally generated. We also stress that rather minimal DSB content is sufficient to yield the observed mass of the lightest Higgs boson, other than the acceptable soft mass of sparticles in the observable sector.
