$C^{12}$ shape isomers in the chiral field solitons approach

The variational approach to the problem of seeking axially symmetric solitons with B=12 is presented. The numerically obtained local minima of the skyrmion mass functional and baryon charge distributions are pointing to the possible existence of shape isomers in $C^{12}$ spectra in the the framework of the original Skyrme model. Theoretical analysis reveals the exclusiveness of each individual state manifested in the structure of the solitons from the given topological sector B=12.

Skyrme Model Language in the Theory of Nucleons and Nuclei

In this talk we try to clarify the problems existing on the way of theorist decided to construct nuclear theory on the generalized Skyrme model background. We conclude that to construct such a model of light nuclei one have to construct a hybrid model where one particle degrees of freedom are concentrated around the surface of the nuclei and soliton with non-trivial structure is located at the center region.

Proton and neutron charge form factors in soliton model with dilaton-quarkonium field

Nucleon electromagnetic form factors are considered in the framework of the generalized Skyrme model with dilaton-quarkonium field. In our recent publication we have got big discrepancies between calculated form factors and dipole approximation formula. Here we have reasonably good accordance between them in finite impulse region after vector meson dominance have been taken into account. Omega and Rho -meson have been included into only hadron structure of the photon.

Additional Degrees of Freedom in Skyrmion Motion

We consider the quantization of chiral solitons with baryon number $B>1$. Classical solitons are obtained within the framework of a variational approach. From the form of the soliton solution it can be seen that besides the group of symmetry describing transformations of the configuration as a whole there are additional symmetries corresponding to internal transformations. Taking into account the additional degrees of freedom leads to some sort of spin alignment for light nuclei and gives constraints on their spectra.
