Investigating Some Diatomic Molecules Bounded by Two-Dimensional Isotropic Oscillator Plus Inverse Quadratic Potential in an External Magnetic field

We investigate the nonrelativistic magnetic effect on the energy spectra, expectation values of some quantum mechanical observables and diamagnetic susceptibility for some diatomic molecules bounded by the Isotropic oscillator plus inverse quadratic potential. The energy eigenvalues and normalized wavefunctions are obtained via parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The expectation values square of position r2, square of momentum p2, kinetic energy T and potential energy V are obtained by applying Hellmann-Feynman theorem and an expression for the diamagnetic susceptibility X is also derived. Using the spectroscopic data, the low rotational and low vibrational energy spectra, expectation values and diamagnetic susceptibility X for a set of diatomic molecules (I2, H2, CO, HCl) for arbitrary values Larmor frequencies are calculated. The computed energy spectra, expectation values and diamagnetic susceptibility X were found to be more influenced by the external magnetic field strength and inverse quadratic potential strength g than the vibrational frequencies and the masses of the selected molecules.

Entanglement fidelity for electron-electron interaction in strongly coupled semiclassical plasma and under external fields

This paper presents the effects of AB-flux field and electric field on electron-electron interaction, encircled by a strongly coupled semiclassical plasma. We found that weak external fields are required to perpetuate a low-energy elastic electron-electron interaction in a strongly coupled semiclassical plasma. The entanglement fidelity in the interaction process has been examined. We have used partial wave analysis to derive the entanglement fidelity. We found that for a weak electric field, the fidelity ratio for electron-electron interaction increase as projectile energy increase but remains constant or almost zero for a strong electric field. Our results provide an invaluable information on how the efficiency of entanglement fidelity for a low-energy elastic electron-electron interaction in a strongly coupled semiclassical plasma can be influenced by the presence of external fields.

Approximate scattering state solutions of DKPE and SSE with Hellmann Potential

We study the approximate scattering state solutions of the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau equation (DKPE) and the spinless Salpeter equation (SSE) with the Hellmann potential. The eigensolutions, scattering phase shifts, partial-waves transitions and the total cross section for all the partial waves are obtained and discussed. The dependence of partial-waves transitions on total angular momentum number, angular momentum number, mass combination and potential parameters were presented in the figures.

Energy spectra and the expectation values of diatomic molecules confined by the shifted Deng-Fan potential

The approximate bound state solutions of the Schrodinger equation with shifted Deng-Fan potential was obtained via proper quantization rule. The energy spectra for the homogenous diatomic molecules (H2, I2); the heterogeneous diatomic molecules (CO, HCl, LiH); the neutral transition metal hydrides (ScH, TiH, VH, CrH); the transition-metal lithide (CuLi); the transition-metal carbides (TiC, NiC); the transition- metal nitrite (ScN) and the transition-metal fluoride (ScF) were calculated. By applying Hellmann-Feynman theorem, the expression for the expectation values of the square of inverse of position, potential energy, kinetic energy and the square of momentum were derived and the numerical values for diatomic molecules were presented. The result is reliable and very consistent with the available ones in the literature.

Scattering states solutions of Klein-Gordon equation with three physically solvable potential models

The scattering state solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation with equal scalar and vector Varshni, Hellmann and Varshni-Shukla potentials for any arbitrary angular momentum quantum number l are investigated within the framework of the functional analytical method using a suitable approximation. The asymptotic wave functions, approximate scattering phase shifts, normalization constants and bound state energy equations were obtained. The non-relativistic limits of the scattering phase shifts and the bound states energy equations for the three potentials were also obtained. Our bound states energy equations are in excellent agreement with the available ones in the literature. Our numerical and graphical results indicate the dependence of phase shifts on the screening parameter \b{eta}, the potential parameter b and angular momentum quantum number l.

The semi-relativistic scattering states of the two-body spinless Salpeter equation with the Varshni potential model

In this present work, the scattering state solutions of the Spinless Salpeter equation with the Varshni potential model were investigated. The approximate scattering phase shift, normalization constant, bound state energy, wave number and wave function in the asymptotic region were obtained. The behaviour of the phase shift with the two-body mass index η were discussed and presented.

Solutions of the Dirac equation with the shifted Deng-Fan potential including Yukawa-like tensor interaction

By using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method, we give the approximate analytical solutions of the Dirac equation with the shifted Deng-Fan potential including the Yukawa-like tensor interaction under the spin and pseudospin symmetry conditions. After using an improved approximation scheme, we solved the resulting schrödinger-like equation analytically. Numerical results of the energy eigenvalues are also obtained, as expected, the tensor interaction removes degeneracies between spin and pseudospin doublets.

κ state solutions for the fermionic massive spin-1/2 particles interacting with double ring-shaped Kratzer and oscillator potentials

In recent years, an extensive survey on various wave equations of relativistic quantum mechanics with different types of potential interactions has been a line of great interest. In this regime, special attention has been given to the Dirac equation because the spin-1/2 fermions represent the most frequent building blocks of the molecules and atoms. Motivated by the considerable interest in this equation and its relativistic symmetries (spin and pseudospin) in the presence of solvable potential model, we attempt to obtain the relativistic bound states solution of the Dirac equation with double ring-shaped Kratzer and oscillator potentials under the condition of spin and pseudospin symmetries. The solutions are reported for arbitrary quantum number in a compact form. the analytic bound state energy eigenvalues and the associated upper- and lower-spinor components of two Dirac particles have been found. Several typical numerical results of the relativistic eigenenergies have also been presented. We found that the existence or absence of the ring shaped potential potential has strong effects on the eigenstates of the Kratzer and oscillator particles with a wide band spectrum except for the pseudospin-oscillator particles where there exist a narrow band gap.
