Bose-Einstein Correlations as correlations of fluctuations

The limitations of the recently proposed new method of numerical modelling of Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC) are explicitly demonstrated. It is then argued that BEC should still be considered as emerging from the correlations of fluctuations, however they have to be modelled first in any Monte Carlo event generator (MCEG) and not added {\it a posteriori} to the existing output of some MCEG.

Are Bose-Einstein Correlations emerging from correlations of fluctuations?

We demonstrate how Bose-Einstein correlations emerge from the correlations of fluctuations allowing for their extremely simple and fast numerical modelling. Both the advantages and limitations of this new method of implementation of BEC in the numerical modelling of high energy multiparticle processes are outlined and discussed. First applications to description of $e^+e^-$ data are given.

Bose-Einstein correlations as reflection of correlations of fluctuations

Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC) observed between identical bosons produced in high energy multiparticle collisions are regarded as very important tool in investigations of multiparticle production processes. We present here their stochastic feature stressing the fact that they can be regarded as a reflection of correlations of fluctuations present in hadronizing system. We show in particular that such approach allows for simple modelling of BEC in numerical event generators used to describe the multiparticle production processes at high energy collisions.

Numerical modelling of correlations

We demonstrate algorithm for numerical modelling of Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC) formulated on quantum statistical level for a single event and exploring the property that identical particles subjected to Bose statistics do bunch themselves in a maximal possible way in the same cells in phase-space.

Numerical modelling of Bose-Einstein correlations

We propose extension of the algorithm for numerical modelling of Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC), which was presented some time ago in the literature. It is formulated on quantum statistical level for a single event and uses the fact that identical particles subjected to Bose statistics do bunch themselves, in a maximal possible way, in the same cells in phase-space. The bunching effect is in our case obtained in novel way allowing for broad applications and fast numerical calculations. First comparison with $e^+e^-$ annihilations data performed by using simple cascade hadronization model is very encouraging.

How to model Bose-Einstein correlations

We propose new algorithm for numerical modelling of Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC). It is based on the fact that identical particles subjected to BEC do, by definition, bunch themselves in a maximal possible way, restricted only by conservation laws, in the same cells in phase-space.

How to observe fluctuating temperature?

We provide arguments that event-by-event (EBE) analysis of multiparticle production data are ideal place to search for the possible fluctuation of temperature characterizing hadronizing source in thermodynamical approach.

Bose-Einstein correlations in cascade processes and non-extensive statistics

We discuss the effect of nonextensivity of the emitting source on the Bose-Einstein correlations (BEC). This is done numerically by comparing cascade hadronization model (CAS), which is known to exhibit fractal structure in both space-time and phase-space, with its equivalent obtained from the information theory approach (MaxEnt), in which hadronization proceeds uniformly in the phase-space. To this end we have developed a new method of accounting for BEC in Monte Carlo event generators, which preserves all kinematics of the hadronization process.

Violation of the Feynman scaling law as a manifestation of nonextensivity

We demonstrate that the apparently ad hoc parametrization of the particle production spectra discussed in the literature and used in description of cosmic ray data can be derived from the information theory approach to multiparticle production processes. In particular, the violation of the Feynman scaling law can be interpreted as a manifestation of nonextensivity of the production processes.

The Fractal Properties of the Source and BEC

Using simple space-time implementation of the random cascade model we investigate numerically influence of the possible fractal structure of the emitting source on Bose-Einstein correlations between identical particles. The results are then discussed in terms of the non-extensive Tsallis statistics.
