q-damped Oscillator and degenerate roots of constant coefficients q-difference ODE

The classical model of q-damped oscillator is introduced and solved in terms of Jackson q-exponential function for three different cases, under-damped, over-damped and the critical one. It is shown that in all three cases solution is oscillating in time but is unbounded and non-periodic. By q-periodic function modulation, the self-similar micro-structure of the solution for small time intervals is derived. In the critical case with degenerate roots, the second linearly independent solution is obtained as a limiting case of two infinitesimally close roots. It appears as standard derivative of q-exponential and is rewritten in terms of the q-logarithmic function. We extend our result by constructing n linearly independent set of solutions to a generic constant coefficient q-difference equation degree N with n degenerate roots.

Exactly Solvable Nonhomogeneous Burgers Equations with Variable Coefficients

We consider a nonhomogeneous Burgers equation with time variable coefficients, and obtain an explicit solution of the general initial value problem in terms of solution to a corresponding linear ODE. Special exact solutions such as generalized shock and multi-shock solitary waves, triangular wave, N-wave and rational type solutions are found and discussed. As exactly solvable models, we study forced Burgers equations with constant damping and an exponentially decaying diffusion coefficient. Different type of exact solutions are obtained for the critical, over and under damping cases, and their behavior is illustrated explicitly. In particular, the existence of inelastic type of collisions is observed by constructing multi-shock solitary wave solutions, and for the rational type solutions the motion of the pole singularities is described.

Chiral Resonant Solitons in Broer-Kaup Type New Hydrodynamic Systems

New Broer-Kaup type systems of hydrodynamic equations are derived from the derivative reaction-diffusion systems arising in SL(2,R) Kaup-Newell hierarchy, represented in the non-Madelung hydrodynamic form. A relation with the problem of chiral solitons in quantum potential as a dimensional reduction of 2+1 dimensional Chern-Simons theory for anyons is shown. By the Hirota bilinear method, soliton solutions are constructed and the resonant character of soliton interaction is found.

q-Shock Soliton Evolution

By generating function based on the Jackson's q-exponential function and standard exponential function, we introduce a new q-analogue of Hermite and Kampe-de Feriet polynomials. In contrast to standard Hermite polynomials, with triple recurrence relation, our polynomials satisfy multiple term recurrence relation, derived by the q-logarithmic function. It allow us to introduce the q-Heat equation with standard time evolution and the q-deformed space derivative. We found solution of this equation in terms of q-Kampe-de Feriet polynomials with arbitrary number of moving zeros, and solved the initial value problem in operator form. By q-analog of the Cole-Hopf transformation we find a new q-deformed Burgers type nonlinear equation with cubic nonlinearity. Regular everywhere single and multiple q-Shock soliton solutions and their time evolution are studied. A novel, self-similarity property of these q-shock solitons is found. The results are extended to the time dependent q-Schrödinger equation and the q-Madelung fluid type representation is derived.

Madelung Representation and Exactly Solvable Schrodinger-Burgers Equations with Variable Parameters

We construct a Madelung fluid model with specific time variable parameters as dissipative quantum fluid and linearize it in terms of Schrodinger equation with time dependent parameters. It allows us to find exact solutions of the nonlinear Madelung system in terms of solutions of the Schrodinger equation and the corresponding classical linear ODE with variable frequency and damping. For the complex velocity field the Madelung system takes the form of a nonlinear complex Schrodinger-Burgers equation, for which we obtain exact solutions using complex Cole-Hopf transformation. In particular, we discuss and give exact results for nonlinear Madelung systems related with Caldirola-Kanai type dissipative harmonic oscillator.

q-Analogue of Shock Soliton Solution

By using Jackson's q-exponential function we introduce the generating function, the recursive formulas and the second order q-differential equation for the q-Hermite polynomials. This allows us to solve the q-heat equation in terms of q-Kampe de Feriet polynomials with arbitrary N moving zeroes, and to find operator solution for the Initial Value Problem for the q-heat equation. By the q-analog of the Cole-Hopf transformation we construct the q-Burgers type nonlinear heat equation with quadratic dispersion and the cubic nonlinearity. In q -> 1 limit it reduces to the standard Burgers equation. Exact solutions for the q-Burgers equation in the form of moving poles, singular and regular q-shock soliton solutions are found.

Relativistic Burgers and Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations

Relativistic complex Burgers-Schrödinger and Nonlinear Schrödinger equations are constructed. In the non-relativistic limit they reduce to the standard Burgers and NLS equations respectively and are integrable at any order of relativistic corrections.

Two Qubit Entanglement in Magnetic Chains with DM Antisymmetric Anisotropic Exchange Interaction

In the present paper an influence of the anisotropic antisymmetric exchange interaction, the Dzialoshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction, on entanglement of two qubits in various magnetic spin models, including the pure DM model and the most general XYZ model are studied. We find that the time evolution generated by DM interaction can implement the SWAP gate and discuss realistic quasi-one-dimensional magnets where it can be realized. It is shown that inclusion of the DM interaction to any Heisenberg model creates, when it does not exist, or strengthens, when it exists, the entanglement. We give physical explanation of these results by studying the ground state of the systems at T=0. Nonanalytic dependence of the concurrence on the DM interaction and its relation with quantum phase transition is indicated. Our results show that spin models with the DM coupling have some potential applications in quantum computations and the DM interaction could be an efficient control parameter of entanglement.

Integrable Hierarchies and Information Measures

In this paper we investigate integrable models from the perspective of information theory, exhibiting various connections. We begin by showing that compressible hydrodynamics for a one-dimesional isentropic fluid, with an appropriately motivated information theoretic extension, is described by a general nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation. Depending on the choice of the enthalpy function, one obtains the cubic NLS or other modified NLS equations that have applications in various fields. Next, by considering the integrable hierarchy associated with the NLS model, we propose higher order information measures which include the Fisher measure as their first member. The lowest members of the hiearchy are shown to be included in the expansion of a regularized Kullback-Leibler measure while, on the other hand, a suitable combination of the NLS hierarchy leads to a Wootters type measure related to a NLS equation with a relativistic dispersion relation. Finally, through our approach, we are led to construct an integrable semi-relativistic NLS equation.

Vortex Images and q-Elementary Functions

In the present paper problem of vortex images in annular domain between two coaxial cylinders is solved by the q-elementary functions. We show that all images are determined completely as poles of the q-logarithmic function, where dimensionless parameter $q = r^2_2/r^2_1$ is given by square ratio of the cylinder radii. Resulting solution for the complex potential is represented in terms of the Jackson q-exponential function. By composing pairs of q-exponents to the first Jacobi theta function and conformal mapping to a rectangular domain we link our solution with result of Johnson and McDonald. We found that one vortex cannot remain at rest except at the geometric mean distance, but must orbit the cylinders with constant angular velocity related to q-harmonic series. Vortex images in two particular geometries in the $q \to \infty$ limit are studied.

Two Qubit Entanglement in $XYZ$ Magnetic Chain with DM Antisymmetric Anisotropic Exchange Interaction

In the present paper we study two qubit entanglement in the most general $XYZ$ Heisenberg magnetic chain with (non)homogeneous magnetic fields and the DM anisotropic antisymmetric exchange interaction, arising from the spin-orbit coupling . The model includes all known results as particular cases, for both antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic $XX, XY, XXX, XXZ, XYZ$ chains. The concurrence of two qubit thermal entanglement and its dependence on anisotropic parameters, external magnetic field and temperature are studied in details. We found that in all cases, inclusion of the DM interaction, which is responsible for weak ferromagnetism in mainly antiferromagnetic crystals and spin arrangement in low symmetry magnets, creates (when it does not exist) or strengthens (when it exists) entanglement in $XYZ$ spin chain. This implies existence of a relation between arrangement of spins and entanglement, in which the DM coupling plays an essential role. It suggests also that anisotropic antisymmetric exchange interaction could be an efficient control parameter of entanglement in the general $XYZ$ case.

Solitons of the Resonant Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation with Nontrivial Boundary Conditions and Hirota Bilinear Method

Physically relevant soliton solutions of the resonant nonlinear Schrodinger (RNLS) equation with nontrivial boundary conditions, recently proposed for description of uniaxial waves in a cold collisionless plasma, are considered in the Hirota bilinear approach. By the Madelung representation, the model is transformed to the reaction-diffusion analog of the NLS equation for which the bilinear representation, soliton solutions and their mutual interactions are studied.

Abelian Chern-Simons Vortices and Holomorphic Burgers' Hierarchy

The Abelian Chern-Simons Gauge Field Theory in 2+1 dimensions and its relation with holomorphic Burgers' Hierarchy is considered. It is shown that the relation between complex potential and the complex gauge field as in incompressible and irrotational hydrodynamics, has meaning of the analytic Cole-Hopf transformation, linearizing the Burgers Hierarchy in terms of the holomorphic Schrödinger Hierarchy. Then the motion of planar vortices in Chern-Simons theory, appearing as pole singularities of the gauge field, corresponds to motion of zeroes of the hierarchy. Using boost transformations of the complex Galilean group of the hierarchy, a rich set of exact solutions, describing integrable dynamics of planar vortices and vortex lattices in terms of the generalized Kampe de Feriet and Hermite polynomials is constructed. The results are applied to the holomorphic reduction of the Ishimori model and the corresponding hierarchy, describing dynamics of magnetic vortices and corresponding lattices in terms of complexified Calogero-Moser models. Corrections on two vortex dynamics from the Moyal space-time non-commutativity in terms of Airy functions are found.

Soliton Resonances for MKP-II

Using the second flow - the Derivative Reaction-Diffusion system, and the third one of the dissipative SL(2,R) Kaup-Newell hierarchy, we show that the product of two functions, satisfying those systems is a solution of the modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in 2+1 dimension with negative dispersion (MKP-II). We construct Hirota's bilinear representation for both flows and combine them together as the bilinear system for MKP-II. Using this bilinear form we find one and two soliton solutions for the MKP-II. For special values of parameters our solution shows resonance behaviour with creation of four virtual solitons. Our approach allows one to interpret the resonance soliton as a composite object of two dissipative solitons in 1+1 dimensions.

Degenerate Four Virtual Soliton Resonance for KP-II

By using disipative version of the second and the third members of AKNS hierarchy, a new method to solve 2+1 dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP-II) equation is proposed. We show that dissipative solitons (dissipatons) of those members give rise to the real solitons of KP-II. From the Hirota bilinear form of the SL(2,R) AKNS flows, we formulate a new bilinear representation for KP-II, by which, one and two soliton solutions are constructed and the resonance character of their mutual interactions is studied. By our bilinear form, we first time created four virtual soliton resonance solution for KP-II and established relations of it with degenerate four-soliton solution in the Hirota-Satsuma bilinear form for KP-II.

Self-Dual Vortices in Chern-Simons Hydrodynamics

The classical theory of non-relativistic charged particle interacting with U(1) gauge field is reformulated as the Schrödinger wave equation modified by the de-Broglie-Bohm quantum potential nonlinearity. For, (1 - $\hbar^2$) deformed strength of quantum potential the model is gauge equivalent to the standard Schrödinger equation with Planck constant $\hbar$, while for the strength (1 + $\hbar^2$), to the pair of diffusion-anti-diffusion equations. Specifying the gauge field as Abelian Chern-Simons (CS) one in 2+1 dimensions interacting with the Nonlinear Schrödinger field (the Jackiw-Pi model), we represent the theory as a planar Madelung fluid, where the Chern-Simons Gauss law has simple physical meaning of creation the local vorticity for the fluid flow. For the static flow, when velocity of the center-of-mass motion (the classical velocity) is equal to the quantum one (generated by quantum potential velocity of the internal motion), the fluid admits N-vortex solution. Applying the Auberson-Sabatier type gauge transform to phase of the vortex wave function we show that deformation parameter $\hbar$, the CS coupling constant and the quantum potential strength are quantized. Reductions of the model to 1+1 dimensions, leading to modified NLS and DNLS equations with resonance soliton interactions are discussed.

Chern-Simons Solitons in Quantum Potential

The self-dual Chern-Simons solitons under the influence of the quantum potential are considered. The single-valuedness condition for an arbitrary integer number $N \ge 0$ of solitons leads to quantization of Chern-Simons coupling constant $κ= m {e^{2} \over g}$, and the integer strength of quantum potential $s = 1 - m^{2}$. As we show, the Jackiw-Pi model corresponds to the first member (m = 1) of our hierarchy of the Chern-Simons gauged nonlinear Schrödinger models, admitting self-dual solitons. New type of exponentially localized Chern-Simons solitons for the Bloch electrons near the hyperbolic energy band boundary are found.

Resonance NLS Solitons as Black Holes in Madelung Fluid

A new resonance version of NLS equation is found and embedded to the reaction-diffusion system, equivalent to the anti-de Sitter valued Heisenberg model, realizing a particular gauge fixing condition of the Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity. The space-time points where dispersion change the sign correspond to the event horizon, and the soliton solutions to the AdS black holes. The soliton with velocity bounded above describes evolution on the hyperboloid with nontrivial winding number and create under collisions the resonance states with a specific life time.
