Normalized solutions to polyharmonic equations with Hardy-type potentials and exponential critical nonlinearities

Via a constrained minimization, we find a solution $(λ,u)$ to the problem \begin{equation*} \begin{cases} (-Δ)^m u+\fracμ{|x|^{2m}}u + λu = ηu^3 + g(u)\\ \int_{\mathbb{R}^{2m}} u^2 \, dx = ρ\end{cases} \end{equation*} with $1 \le m \in \mathbb{N}$, $μ,η\ge 0$, $ρ> 0$, and $g$ having exponential critical growth at infinity and mass supercritical growth at zero.

Global bifurcations of nodal solutions for coupled elliptic equations

We investigate the global bifurcation structure of the radial nodal solutions to the coupled elliptic equations \begin{equation} \left\{ \begin{array}{lr} -Δu+u=u^3+βuv^2\mbox{ in }B_1 ,\nonumber -Δv+v=v^3+βu^2v\mbox{ in }B_1 ,\nonumber u,v\in H_{0,r}^1(B_1).\nonumber \end{array} \right. \end{equation} Here $B_1$ is a unit ball in $\mathbb{R}^3$ and $β\in\mathbb{R}$ the coupling constant is used as bifurcation parameter. For each $k$, the unique pair of nodal solutions $\pm w_k$ with exactly $k-1$ zeroes to the scalar field equation $-Δw + w=w^3$ generate exactly four synchronized solution curves and exactly four semi-trivial solution curves to the above system. We obtain a fairly complete global bifurcation structure of all bifurcating branches emanating from these eight solution curves of the system, and show that for different $k$ these bifurcation structures are disjoint. We obtain exact and distinct nodal information for each of the bifurcating branches, thus providing a fairly complete characterization of nodal solutions of the system in terms of the coupling.

Fractional p-Kirchhoff equation with Sobolev and Choquard singular nonlinearities

In the present work, we consider a fractional p-Kirchhoff equation in the entire space R^N featuring doubly nonlinearities, involving a generalized nonlocal Choquard subcritical term together with a local critical Sobolev term; the problem also includes a Hardy-type term; additionaly, all terms have critical singular weights. Our result improve upon previous work in the following ways: we focus our attention on the existence of a nontrivial weak solution for fractional p-Kirchhoff equation in the entire space R^N. The possibility of a slower growth in the nonlinearity makes it more difficult to establish a compactness condition; to do so, we use the Cerami condition. The crucial points in our argument are the uniform boundedness of the convolution part and the lack of compactness of the Sobolev embeddings.

A Liouville-type theorem for the coupled Schrödinger systems and the uniqueness of the sign-changing radial solutions

In this paper, we study the sign-changing radial solutions of the following coupled Schrödinger system \begin{equation} \left\{ \begin{array}{lr} -Δu_j+λ_j u_j=μ_j u_j^3+\sum_{i\neq j}β_{ij} u_i^2 u_j \,\,\,\,\,\,\,\, \mbox{in }B_1 ,\nonumber u_j\in H_{0,r}^1(B_1)\mbox{ for }j=1,\cdots,N.\nonumber \end{array} \right. \end{equation} Here, $λ_j,\,μ_j>0$ and $β_{ij}=β_{ji}$ are constants for $i,j=1,\cdots,N$ and $i\neq j$. $B_1$ denotes the unit ball in the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^3$ centred at the origin. For any $P_1,\cdots,P_N\in\mathbb{N}$, we prove the uniqueness of the radial solution $(u_1,\cdots,u_j)$ with $u_j$ changes its sign exactly $P_j$ times for any $j=1,\cdots,N$ in the following case: $λ_j\geq1$ and $|β_{ij}|$ are small for $i,j=1,\cdots,N$ and $i\neq j$. New Liouville-type theorems and boundedness results are established for this purpose.

Existence and multiplicity results for a class of Kirchhoff-Choquard equations with a generalized sign-changing potential

In the present work we are concerned with the following Kirchhoff-Choquard-type equation $$-M(||\nabla u||_{2}^{2})Δu +Q(x)u + μ(V(|\cdot|)\ast u^2)u = f(u) \mbox{ in } \mathbb{R}^2 , $$ for $M: \mathbb{R} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}$ given by $M(t)=a+bt$, $ μ>0 $, $ V $ a sign-changing and possible unbounded potential, $ Q $ a continuous external potential and a nonlinearity $f$ with exponential critical growth. We prove existence and multiplicity of solutions in the nondegenerate case and guarantee the existence of solutions in the degenerate case.

On the existence and multiplicity of solutions for the $ N $-Choquard logarithmic equation with exponential critical growth

In the present work we briefly explain how to adapt techniques already used in fractional and $p$-fractional Laplacian cases to obtain the existence of a nontrivial solution at the mountain pass level and a nontrivial ground state solution, for the critical case, and the existence of infinitely many solutions, for the subcritical case, to the Choquard Logarithmic equation, $-Δ_N u + a(x)|u|^{N-2}u + λ(\ln|\cdot|\ast |u|^{N})|u|^{N-2}u = f(u) \textrm{ in } \mathbb{R}^N $, where $ a:\mathbb{R}^N \rightarrow \mathbb{R} $, $ λ>0 $, $ N \geq 3 $ and $f: \mathbb{R} \rightarrow [0, \infty) $ is continuous function that behaves like $ \exp(α|u|^{\frac{N}{N-1}}) $ at infinity, for $ α>0 $.

$ (p, N)-$Choquard logarithmic equation involving a nonlinearity with exponential critical growth: existence and multiplicity

The present work is concerned with the following version of Choquard Logarithmic equations $ -Δ_p u -Δ_N u + a|u|^{p-2}u + b|u|^{N-2}u + λ(\ln|\cdot|\ast G(u))g(u) = f(u) \textrm{ in } \mathbb{R}^N $ , where $ a, b, λ>0 $, $ \max\{\frac{N}{2}, 2 \} < p< N $, $f, g: \mathbb{R} \rightarrow \mathbb{R} $ are continuous functions that behave like $ \exp(α|u|^{\frac{N}{N-1}}) $ at infinity, for $ α>0 $, and that has polynomial growth, respectively, and $ G(s)=\int\limits_{0}^{s}g(τ)dτ$. We prove the existence of a nontrivial solution at the mountain pass level and a nontrivial ground state solution. Also, using a version of the Symmetric Mountain-Pass Theorem, we get infinitely many solutions.

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for the fractional $p$-Laplacian Choquard logarithmic equation involving a nonlinearity with exponential critical and subcritical growth

In the present work we obtain the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for the Choquard logarithmic equation $(-Δ)_{p}^{s}u + |u|^{p-2}u + (\ln|\cdot|\ast |u|^{p})|u|^{p-2}u = f(u) \textrm{ \ in \ } \mathbb{R}^N $ , where $ N=sp $, $ s\in (0, 1) $, $ p>2 $, $ a>0 $, $ λ>0 $ and $f: \mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R} $ a continuous nonlinearity with exponential critical and subcritical growth. We guarantee the existence of a nontrivial solution at the mountain pass level and a nontrivial ground state solution under critical and subcritical growth. Morever, when $ f $ has subcritical growth we prove the existence of infinitely many solutions, via genus theory.

The Choquard logarithmic equation involving a nonlinearity with exponential growth

In the present work we are concerned with the Choquard Logarithmic equation $-Δu + au + λ(\ln|\cdot|\ast |u|^{2})u = f(u)$ in $\mathbb{R}^2$, for $ a>0 $, $ λ>0 $ and a nonlinearity $f$ with exponential critical growth. We prove the existence of a nontrivial solution at the mountain pass level and a nontrivial ground state solution. Also, we provide these results under a symmetric setting, taking into account subgroups of $ O(2) $.
