The Yau's characterization of isolated homogeneous hypersurface singularities

Using the semicontinuity of the Milnor number and the Łojasiewicz exponent, we give a simple proof of Yau's characterization of isolated homogenous hypersurface singularities.

The Łojasiewicz exponent for weighted homogeneous polynomial with isolated singularity

The purpose of this paper is to give an explicit formula of the Łojasiewicz exponent of an isolated weighted homogeneous singularity in terms of its weights.
