We introduce four q-analogs of the double Laplace transform and prove some of their main properties. Next we show how they can be used to solve some q-functional equations and partial q-differential equations.
In this paper, we give a generating function for Multiple Charlier polynomials and deduce several consequences for these polynomials as invertion formula, connection formula, addition formula and recurrences relations they satisfy. Next, we introduce the notion of multiple $Δ_ω$ polynomials and prove several equivalent conditions for this class of polynomials. Also, we give a characterization theorem that if multiple $Δ_1$ polynomials are also multiple orthogonal, then they are the multiple Charlier polynomials.
A new $q$-analogue of Appell polynomial sequences and their generalizations are introduced and their main characterizations are proved. As consequences new $q$-analogue of Bernoulli and Euler polynomials and numbers is introduced, their main representations are given.
We introduce polynomial sets of $(p,q)$-Appell type and give some of their characterizations. The algebraic properties of the set of all polynomial sequences of $(p,q)$-Appell type are studied. Next, we give a recurrence relation and a $(p,q)$-difference equation for those polynomials. Finally, some examples of polynomial sequences of $(p,q)$-Appell type are given, particularly, a set of $(p,q)$-Hermite polynomials is given and their three-term recurrence relation and a second order homogeneous $(p,q)$-difference equation are provided.
A characterization is given of those sequences of quasi-orthogonal polynomials which form also $q$-Appell sets.
Two $(p,q)$-Laplace transforms are introduced and their relative properties are stated and proved. Applications are made to solve some $(p,q)$-linear difference equations.
Fractional $q$-extensions of some classical $q$-orthogonal polynomials are introduced and some of the main properties of the new defined functions are given. Next, a fractional $q$-difference equation of Gauss type is introduced and solved by means of power series method.
The classical orthogonal polynomials are usually defined by the Rodrigues' formula. This paper refers to a fractional extension of the classical Hermite, Laguerre, Jacobi, Charlier, Meixner, Krawtchouk and Hahn polynomials. By means of the Caputo operator of fractional calculus, C-Hermite, C-Laguerre, C-Legndre and the C-Jacobi functions are defined and their representation in terms of the hypergeometric functions are provided. Also, by means of the Gray and Zhang fractional difference oparator, fractional Charlier, Meixner, Krawtchouk and Hahn functions are defined and their representation in terms of the hypergeometric functions are provided. Some other properties of the new defined functions are given.
We introduce new generalizations of the Gamma and the Beta functions. Their properties are investigated and known results are obtained as particular cases.
In this paper, the $(p,q)$-derivative and the $(p,q)$-integration are investigated. Two suitable polynomials bases for the $(p,q)$-derivative are provided and various properties of these bases are given. As application, two $(p,q)$-Taylor formulas for polynomials are given, the fundamental theorem of $(p,q)$-calculus is included and the formula of $(p,q)$-integration by part is proved.
