Do you know "saudade"? The importance of a cultural and language-based emotion approach for HCI
Today most technologies and interfaces are designed to be global. We argue that if emotional aspects are incorporated during the design phase of technologies and interfaces - or in technologies for recognizing users' emotions such as affective computing - culture and language should be taken as relevant criteria.
