An Itô-Wentzell formula for rough paths

This article shows an Itô-Wentzell type formula adapted to rough paths with $α$-Hölder regularity $α\in (\frac{1}{3},\frac{1}{2}]$. We improve previous results of R. Castrequini and P. Catuogno for the Young integral and C. Keller and J. Zhang for rough paths.

Weak solutions for stochastic differential equations with additive fractional noise

We give a new approach to prove the existence of a weak solution of \[dx_t = f(t,x_t)dt + g(t)dB^H_t\] where $B^H_t$ is a fractional Brownian motion with values in a separable Hilbert space for suitable functions $f$ and $g$. Our idea is to use the implicit function theorem and the scaling property of the fractional Brownian motion in order to obtain a weak solution for this equation.

Foliated stochastic calculus: Harmonic measures

In this article we present an intrinsec construction of foliated Brownian motion via stochastic calculus adapted to foliation. The stochastic approach together with a proposed foliated vector calculus provide a natural method to work on harmonic measures. Other results include a decomposition of the Laplacian in terms of the foliated and basic Laplacians, a characterization of totally invariant measures and a differential equation for the density of harmonic measures.

Harmonic measures in embedded foliated manifolds

We study harmonic and totally invariant measures in a foliated compact Riemannian manifold isometrically embedded in an Euclidean space. We introduce geometrical techniques for stochastic calculus in this space. In particular, using these techniques we can construct explicitely an Stratonovich equation for the foliated Brownian motion (cf. L. Garnett \cite{LG} and others). We present a characterization of totally invariant measures in terms of the flow of diffeomorphisms of associated to this equation. We prove an ergodic formula for the sum of the Lyapunov exponents in terms of the geometry of the leaves.

Decomposition of stochastic flows in manifolds with complementary distributions

Let $M$ be a differentiable manifold endowed locally with two complementary distributions, say horizontal and vertical. We consider the two subgroups of (local) diffeomorphisms of $M$ generated by vector fields in each of of these distributions. Given a stochastic flow $φ_t$ of diffeomorphisms of $M$, in a neighbourhood of initial condition, up to a stopping time we decompose $φ_t = ξ_t \circ ψ_t$ where the first component is a diffusion in the group of horizontal diffeomorphisms and the second component is a process in the group of vertical diffeomorphisms. Further decomposition will include more than two components; it leads to a maximal cascade decomposition in local coordinates where each component acts only in the corresponding coordinate.

A note on stochastic calculus in vector bundles

The aim of these notes is to relate covariant stochastic integration in a vector bundle $E$ (as in Norris \cite{Norris}) with the usual Stratonovich calculus via the connector $\K:TE \rightarrow E$ (cf. e.g. Paterson \cite{Paterson} or Poor \cite{Poor}) which carries the connection dependence.

Decomposition of stochastic flows with automorphism of subbundles component

We show that given a $G$-structure $P$ on a differentiable manifold $M$, if the group $G(M)$ of automorphisms of $P$ is big enough, then there exists the quotient of an stochastic flows $phi_t$ by $G(M)$, in the sense that $ϕ_t = ξ_t \circ ρ_t$ where $ξ_t \in G(M)$, the remainder $ρ_t$ has derivative which is vertical but transversal to the fibre of $P$. This geometrical context generalizes previous results where $M$ is a Riemannian manifold and $ϕ_t$ is decomposed with an isometric component, see Liao \cite{Liao1} and Ruffino \cite{Ruffino}, which in our context corresponds to the particular case of an SO(n)-structure on $M$.

Stochastic symmetries and transformations of stochastic differential equations

In this article, we introduce the notion of stochastic symmetry of a differential equation. It consists in a stochastic flow that acts over a solution of a differential equation and produces another solution of the same equation. In the ordinary case, we give necessary conditions in order to obtain such symmetries. These conditions involve the infinitesimal generator of the flow and the coefficients of the equation. Moreover, we show how to obtain necessary conditions in order to find an application that transforms a stochastic differential equation that one would like to solve into a target equation that one previously know how to solve.
