Grothendieck topology of $C^*$-algebras

For any topological space there is a sheaf cohomology. A Grothendieck topology is a generalization of the classical topology such that it also possesses a sheaf cohomology. On the other hand any noncommutative $C^*$-algebra is a generalization of a locally compact Hausdorff space. Here we define a Grothendieck topology arising from $C^*$-algebras which is a generalization of the topology of the spectra of commutative $C^*$-algebras. This construction yields a noncommutative generalization of the sheaf cohomology of topological spaces. The presented here theory gives a unified approach to the Gelfand duality and the duality between the commutative von Neumann algebras and measure locales. The generalization of the Dixmier-Douady theory concerning $C^*$-algebras of foliations is also discussed.

Coverings of Quantum Groups

It is known that any covering space of a topological group has the natural structure of a topological group. This article discusses a noncommutative generalization of this fact. A noncommutative generalization of the topological group is a quantum group. Also there is a noncommutative generalization of a covering. The combination of these algebraic constructions yields a motive to research the generalization of coverings of topological groups. In contrary to a topological group a covering space of a quantum group does not have the natural structure of the quantum group. However a covering space of a quantum group satisfies to a condition which is weaker than the condition of a covering space of a topological group.

Inverse Limits of Noncommutative Covering Projections

The Gelfand - Naĭmark theorem supplies the one to one correspondence between commutative $C^*$-algebras and locally compact Hausdorff spaces. So any noncommutative $C^*$-algebra can be regarded as a generalization of a topological space. Generalizations of several topological invariants can be defined by algebraical methods. This article contains a pure algebraical construction of inverse limits in the category of (noncommutative) covering projections. It is proven that Moyal planes are inverse limits of covering projections of noncommutative tori.

Noncommutative Local Systems

Gelfand - Naĭmark theorem supplies a one to one correspondence between commutative $C^*$-algebras and locally compact Hausdorff spaces. So any noncommutative $C^*$-algebra can be regarded as a generalization of a topological space. Generalizations of several topological invariants may be defined by algebraic methods. For example Serre Swan theorem states that complex topological $K$-theory coincides with $K$-theory of $C^*$-algebras. This article is concerned with generalization of local systems. The classical construction of local system implies an existence of a path groupoid. However the noncommutative geometry does not contain this object. There is a construction of local system which uses covering projections. Otherwise a classical (commutative) notion of a covering projection has a noncommutative generalization. A generalization of noncommutative covering projections supplies a generalization of local systems.

Universal covering space of the noncommutative torus

Gelfand - Naĭmark theorem supplies contravariant functor from a category of commutative $C^*-$ algebras to a category of locally compact Hausdorff spaces. Therefore any commutative $C^*-$ algebra is an alternative representation of a topological space. Similarly a category of (noncommutative) $C^*-$ algebras can be regarded as a category of generalized (noncommutative) locally compact Hausdorff spaces. Generalizations of topological invariants may be defined by algebraic methods. For example Serre Swan theorem states that complex topological $K$ - theory coincides with $K$ - theory of $C^*$ - algebras. However the algebraic topology have a rich set of invariants. Some invariants do not have noncommutative generalizations yet. This article contains a sample of noncommutative universal covering. General theory of noncommutative universal coverings is being developed by the author of this article. However this sample has independent interest, it is very easy to understand and does not require knowledge of Hopf-Galois extensions.

The virtual reality framework for engineering objects

A framework for virtual reality of engineering objects has been developed. This framework may simulate different equipment related to virtual reality. Framework supports 6D dynamics, ordinary differential equations, finite formulas, vector and matrix operations. The framework also supports embedding of external software.

The Noncommutative Geometry Generalization of Fundamental Group

A notion of fundamental group of spectral triples has been introduced. The notion uses a noncommutative analogue of unramified coverings. It was shown that in commutative case this fundamental group is a profinite completion of fundamental group of corresponding Riemann manifold.
