On asymptotically almost periodic solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations on hyperbolic manifolds

In this paper we study the forward asymptotically almost periodic (AAP-) mild solutions of Navier-Stokes equations on the real hyperbolic manifold $\mathcal{M}=\mathbb{H}^d(\mathbb{R})$ with dimension $d \geq 2$. Using the dispersive and smoothing estimates for the Stokes equation we invoke the Massera-type principle to prove the existence and uniqueness of the AAP- mild solution for the inhomogeneous Stokes equations in $L^p(Γ(T\mathcal{M})))$ space with $1 1$.

Cauchy and Goursat problems for the generalized spin zero rest-mass fields on Minkowski spacetime

In this paper, we study the Cauchy and Goursat problems of the spin-$n/2$ zero rest-mass equations on Minkowski spacetime by using the conformal geometric method. In our strategy, we prove the wellposedness of the Cauchy problem in Einstein's cylinder. Then we establish pointwise decays of the fields and prove the energy equalities of the conformal fields between the null conformal boundaries $\scri^\pm$ and the hypersurface $Σ_0=\left\{ t=0 \right\}$. Finally, we prove the wellposedness of the Goursat problem in the partial conformal compactification by using the energy equalities and the generalisation of Hörmander's result.

Asymptotically almost periodic solutions to parabolic equations on the real hyperbolic manifold

In this work we study the existence and the asymptotic behaviour of the asymptotically almost periodic mild solutions of the vectorial parabolic equations on the real hyperbolic manifold $\mathbb{H}^d(\mathbb{R})$ ($d \geqslant 2$). We will consider the vectorial laplace operator in the sense of Ebin-Marsden's laplace operator. Our method is based on certain dispertive and smoothing estimates of the semigroup generated by the linearized vectorial heat equation and the fixed point argument. First, we prove the existence and the uniqueness of the asymptotically almost periodic mild solution for the linearized equations. Next, using the fixed point argument, we can pass from linearized equations to semilinear equations to prove the existence, uniqueness, exponential decay and stability of the solutions. Our abstract results will be applied to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation and the semilinear vectorial heat equation.

Conformal scattering theory for the Dirac field on Kerr spacetime

We investigate to construct a conformal scattering theory of the spin-$1/2$ massless Dirac equation on the Kerr spacetime by using the conformal geometric method and under an assumption on the pointwise decay of the Dirac field. In particular, our construction is valid in the exteriors of Schwarzschild and very slowly Kerr black hole spacetimes, where the pointwise decay was established.

On attractor's dimensions of the modified Leray-alpha equation

The primary objective of this paper is to investigate the modified Leray-alpha equation on the two-dimensional sphere $\mathbb{S}^2$, the square torus $\mathbb{T}^2$ and the three-torus $\mathbb{T}^3$. In the strategy, we prove the existence and the uniqueness of the weak solutions and also the existence of the global attractor for the equation. Then we establish the upper and lower bounds of the Hausdorff and fractal dimensions of the global attractor on both $\mathbb{S}^2$ and $\mathbb{T}^2$. Our method is based on the estimates for the vorticity scalar equations and the stationary solutions around the invariant manifold that are constructed by using the Kolmogorov flows. Finally, we will use the results on $\mathbb{T}^2$ to study the lower bound for attractor's dimensions on the case of $\mathbb{T}^3$.

The simplified Bardina equations on two-dimensional closed manifolds

In this paper we study the viscous simplified Bardina equation on the two-dimensional closed manifold $M$ which is embedded in $\mathbb{R}^3$. First, we prove the existence and the uniqueness of the weak solutions and also the existence of the global attractor for the equation on $M$. Then we establish the upper and lower bounds of the Hausdorff and fractal dimensions of the attractor. We also prove the existence of an inertial manifold for the equation on the two-dimensional sphere ${S}^2$.

Conformal scattering theory for the linearized gravity fields on Schwarzschild spacetime

We provide in this paper a first step to obtain the conformal scattering theory for the linearized gravity fields on the Schwarzschild spacetime by using the conformal geometric approach. We will show that the existing decay results for the solutions of the Regge-Wheeler and Zerilli equations obtained recently by L. Anderson, P. Blue and J. Wang \cite{ABlu} is sufficient to obtain the conformal scattering.
