Giant magnon-like solution in Sch_5 x S^5

In this paper we have found a classical giant magnon-like solution with both infinite and finite angular momentum moving in Sch_5 x S^5 with B-field, which is believed to be dual to dipole-deformed N=4 super Yang-Mills theory. This string state propagates as a point particle in non-trivial subspace of the Sch_5 space but shows a giant magnon-like property in the S^2 subspace. We derive the energy-momentum dispersion relations and their finite-size correction for the case of finite but large angular momentum.

Some semiclassical structure constants for AdS_4 x CP^3

We compute structure constants in three-point functions of three string states in AdS_4 x CP^3 in the framework of the semiclassical approach. We consider HHL correlation functions where two of the states are "heavy" string states of finite-size giant magnons carrying one or two angular momenta and the other one corresponds to such "light" states as dilaton operators with non-zero momentum, primary scalar operators, and singlet scalar operators with higher string levels.

String solutions in $AdS_3\times S^3\times S^3\times S^1$ with $B$-field

We consider strings living in $AdS_3\times S^3\times S^3\times S^1$ with nonzero $B$-field. By using specific ansatz for the string embedding, we obtain a class of solutions corresponding to strings moving in the whole ten dimensional space-time. For the $AdS_3$ subspace, these solutions are given in terms of incomplete elliptic integrals. For the two three-spheres, they are expressed in terms of Lauricella hypergeometric functions of many variables. The conserved charges, i.e. the string energy, spin and angular momenta, are also found.

Semiclassical structure constants in the eta-deformed AdS_5 x S^5: Leading finite-size corrections

We consider the leading finite-size effects on some structure constants for the $η$ - deformed $AdS_5\times S^5$ background in the framework of the semiclassical approach. The leading finite-size corrections are derived for the cases when we have two heavy string states represented by giant magnons and for two different choices of the light states corresponding to dilaton operator with nonzero momentum and primary scalar operators. Since the dual field theory is still unknown, the results obtained here must be considered as conjectures or as predictions from the string theory side.

P-Branes Dynamics, AdS/CFT and Correlation Functions

We present part of our investigations related to p-branes and Dp-branes dynamics, duality between string theories/M-theory and (conformal) field theories, as well as some semiclassical results for three-point correlation functions, including finite-size effects on them.

Some three-point correlation functions in the eta-deformed AdS_5 x S^5

We compute some normalized structure constants in the $η$-deformed $AdS_5\times S^5$ in the framework of the semiclassical approach. This is done for the cases when the "heavy" string states are finite-size giant magnons carrying one angular momentum and for three different choices of the "light" state: primary scalar operators, dilaton operator with nonzero momentum, singlet scalar operators on higher string levels. Since the dual field theory is still unknown, the results obtained here must be considered as conjectures or as predictions from the string theory side. A HHL 3-point correlation function in the η-deformed AdS_5 x S^5

We derive the 3-point correlation function between two giant magnons heavy string states and the light dilaton operator with zero momentum in the η-deformed AdS_5 x S^5 valid for any J_1 and ηin the semiclassical limit. We show that this result satisfies a consistency relation between the 3-point correlation function and the conformal dimension of the giant magnon. We also provide a leading finite J_1 correction explicitly.

Finite-size giant magnons on η-deformed AdS_5 x S^5

We consider strings moving in the R_t x S^3_ηsubspace of the η-deformed AdS_5 x S^5 and obtain a class of solutions depending on several parameters. They are characterized by the string energy and two angular momenta. Finite-size dyonic giant magnon belongs to this class of solutions. Further on, we restrict ourselves to the case of giant magnon with one nonzero angular momentum, and obtain the leading finite-size correction to the dispersion relation.

String solutions in AdS_3 x S^3 x T^4 with NS-NS B-field

We develop an approach for solving the string equations of motion and Virasoro constraints in any background which has some (unfixed) number of commuting Killing vector fields. It is based on a specific ansatz for the string embedding. We apply the above mentioned approach for strings moving inAdS_3 x S^3 x T^4 with 2-form NS-NS B-field. We succeeded to find solutions for a large class of string configurations on this background. In particular, we derive dyonic giant magnon solutions in the R_t x S^3 subspace, and obtain the leading finite-size correction to the dispersion relation.

Leading finite-size effects on some three-point correlators in TsT-deformed AdS_5 x S^5

We compute the leading finite-size effects on the normalized structure constants in semiclassical three-point correlation functions of two finite-size giant magnon string states and three different types of "light" states - primary scalar operators, dilaton operator with nonzero momentum and singlet scalar operators on higher string levels. This is done for the case of TsT-transformed, or gamma-deformed, AdS_5 x S^5 string theory background, dual to N = 1 super Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions, arising as an exactly marginal deformation of N = 4 super Yang-Mills.

Leading finite-size effects on some three-point correlators in AdS_5 x S^5

In the framework of the semiclassical approach, we find the leading finite-size effects on the normalized structure constants in some three-point correlation functions in AdS_5 x S^5, expressed in terms of the conserved string angular momenta J_1, J_2, and the worldsheet momentum p_w, identified with the momentum p of the magnon excitations in the dual spin-chain arising in N=4 SYM in four dimensions.

Three-point correlators: finite-size giant magnons and singlet scalar operators on higher string levels

In the framework of the semiclassical approach, we compute the normalized structure constants in three-point correlation functions, when two of the vertex operators correspond to "heavy" string states, while the third vertex corresponds to a "light" state. This is done for the case when the "heavy" string states are finite-size giant magnons, carrying one or two angular momenta. The "light" states are taken to be singlet scalar operators on higher string levels. We first consider the case of string theory on AdS_5xS^5 dual to N = 4 super Yang-Mills. Then we extend the obtained results to the gamma-deformed AdS_5x S^5, corresponding to N = 1 super Yang-Mills theory, appearing as an exactly marginal deformation of N=4 super Yang-Mills.

More three-point correlators of giant magnons with finite size

In the framework of the semiclassical approach, we compute the normalized structure constants in three-point correlation functions, when two of the vertex operators correspond to heavy string states, while the third vertex corresponds to a light state. This is done for the case when the heavy string states are finite-size giant magnons with one or two angular momenta, and for two different choices of the light state, corresponding to dilaton operator and primary scalar operator. The relevant operators in the dual gauge theory are Tr(F_{μν}^2 Z^j+...) and Tr(Z^j). We first consider the case of AdS_5 x S^5 and N = 4 super Yang-Mills. Then we extend the obtained results to the gamma-deformed AdS_5 x S^5_γ, dual to N = 1 super Yang-Mills theory, arising as an exactly marginal deformation of N = 4 super Yang-Mills.

Three-point Correlation functions of Giant magnons with finite size

We compute holographic three-point correlation functions or structure constants of a zero-momentum dilaton operator and two (dyonic) giant magnon string states with a finite-size length in the semiclassical approximation. We show that the semiclassical structure constants match exactly with the three-point functions between two su(2) magnon single trace operators with finite size and the Lagrangian in the large 't Hooft coupling constant limit. A special limit J>>sqrt(lambda) of our result is compared with the relevant result based on the Lüscher corrections.

Three-point Correlation Function of Giant Magnons in the Lunin-Maldacena background

We compute semiclassical three-point correlation function, or structure constant, of two finite-size (dyonic) giant magnon string states and a light dilaton mode in the Lunin-Maldacena background, which is the γ-deformed, or TsT-transformed AdS_5 x S_γ^5, dual to N = 1 super Yang-Mills theory. We also prove that an important relation between the structure constant and the conformal dimension, checked for the N = 4 super Yang-Mills case, still holds for the γ-deformed string background.

Finite-size Giant Magnons on AdS_4 x CP^3_γ

We investigate finite-size giant magnons propagating on γ-deformed AdS_4 x CP^3_γ type IIA string theory background, dual to one parameter deformation of the N=6 super Chern-Simoms-matter theory. Analyzing the finite-size effect on the dispersion relation, we find that it is modified compared to the undeformed case, acquiring γdependence.

Close to the Giant Magnons

We consider the most general string configurations on the R_t x S^3 subspace of AdS_5 xS^5, described by the Neumann-Rosochatius integrable system. Under some restrictions on the parameters of the solution and in an appropriate limit, they correspond to small deviation from the known finite-size giant magnon solutions with one and two angular momenta. Analyzing the finite-size effect on the dispersion relation, we find that the leading correction is modified in a way similar to the gamma-deformed case R_t x S^3_gamma. The subleading correction for a string with one angular momentum is also found. It depends on the same parameter, which describes the generalization of the leading correction.

Finite-Size Dyonic Giant Magnons in TsT-transformed $AdS_5\times S^5$

We investigate dyonic giant magnons propagating on $γ$-deformed $AdS_5\times S^5$ by Neumann-Rosochatius reduction method with a twisted boundary condition. We compute finite-size effect of the dispersion relations of dyonic giant magnons which generalizes the previously known case of the giant magnons with one angular momentum found by Bykov and Frolov.
