Game Theoretic Resilience Recommendation Framework for CyberPhysical Microgrids Using Hypergraph MetaLearning

This paper presents a physics-aware cyberphysical resilience framework for radial microgrids under coordinated cyberattacks. The proposed approach models the attacker through a hypergraph neural network (HGNN) enhanced with model agnostic metalearning (MAML) to rapidly adapt to evolving defense strategies and predict high-impact contingencies. The defender is modeled via a bi-level Stackelberg game, where the upper level selects optimal tie-line switching and distributed energy resource (DER) dispatch using an Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) coordinator embedded within the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II). The framework simultaneously optimizes load served, operational cost, and voltage stability, ensuring all post-defense states satisfy network physics constraints. The methodology is first validated on the IEEE 69-bus distribution test system with 12 DERs, 8 critical loads, and 5 tie-lines, and then extended to higher bus systems including the IEEE 123-bus feeder and a synthetic 300-bus distribution system. Results show that the proposed defense strategy restores nearly full service for 90% of top-ranked attacks, mitigates voltage violations, and identifies Feeder 2 as the principal vulnerability corridor. Actionable operating rules are derived, recommending pre-arming of specific tie-lines to enhance resilience, while higher bus system studies confirm scalability of the framework on the IEEE 123-bus and 300-bus systems.

Dynamics of Bright Soliton Under Cubic-Quartic Interactions in Quasi One-Dimensional Geometry

Recent inspection of liquid-like state in ultracold atomic gases due to the stabilization mechanism through the delicate balance between effective mean-field and beyond mean-field (BMF) interactions, has motivated us to study the modified/extended Gross-Pitaevskii (eGP) equation which includes the BMF contribution. In this article, we focus on variational analysis of solitonic regime with eGP equation while the soliton is subjected to an obstacle. This reveals different scattering scenarios of the soliton with explicit dependence of the BMF interaction. The results show the existence of tunneling, partial and complete trappings, in different parameter domains. These observations are further corroborated by the fast-Fourier transform method. In the later part we also extend our analysis to trapped systems. The controlled trapping in defect potential and its release can be potentially useful for quantum information storage.

Canonical steering ellipsoids of pure symmetric multiqubit states with two distinct spinors and volume monogamy of steering

Quantum steering ellipsoid formalism provides a faithful representation of all two-qubit states and helps in obtaining correlation properties of the state through the steering ellipsoid. The steering ellipsoids corresponding to the two-qubit subsystems of permutation symmetric $N$-qubit states is analysed here. The steering ellipsoids of two-qubit states that have undergone local operations on both the qubits so as to bring the state to its canonical form are the so-called canonical steering ellipsoids. We construct and analyze the geometric features of the canonical steering ellipsoids corresponding to pure permutation symmetric $N$-qubit states with two distinct spinors. Depending on the degeneracy of the two spinors in the pure symmetric $N$-qubit state, there arise several families which cannot be converted into one another through Stochastic Local Operations and Classical Communications (SLOCC). The canonical steering ellipsoids of the two-qubit states drawn from the pure symmetric $N$-qubit states with two distinct spinors allow for a geometric visualization of the SLOCC-inequivalent class of states. We show that the states belonging to the W-class correspond to oblate spheroid centered at $(0,0,1/(N-1))$ with fixed semiaxes lengths $1/\sqrt{N-1}$ and $1/(N-1)$. The states belonging to all other SLOCC inequivalent families correspond to ellipsoids centered at the origin of the Bloch sphere. We also explore volume monogamy relations of states belonging to these families, mainly the W-class of states.

Wind Speed Data Analysis for Various Seasons during a Decade by Wavelet and S transform

The appropriate weather prediction is a challenging task and it can be feasible with proper wind speed fluctuation analysis. In this current paper daubechies-4 wavelet is used to analyze the winter wind speed fluctuations due to lesser agitated wind data samples of winter. In summer abrupt changes in wind speed occurs which creates difficulty for wavelets to keep proper track of wind speed fluctuations. So, in that case the concept of the S-transform is introduced.

Solitons and spin transport in graphene boundary

It is shown that in (2+1)-dimensional condensed matter systems, induced gravitational Chern-Simons (CS) action can play a crucial role for coherent spin transport in a finite geometry, provided zero-curvature condition is satisfied on the boundary. The role of the resultant KdV solitons is explicated. The fact that KdV solitons can pass through each other without interference, represent 'resistanceless' spin transport.

Diagnosing Heterogeneous Dynamics for CT Scan Images of Human Brain in Wavelet and MFDFA domain

CT scan images of human brain of a particular patient in different cross sections are taken, on which wavelet transform and multi-fractal analysis are applied. The vertical and horizontal unfolding of images are done before analyzing these images. A systematic investigation of de-noised CT scan images of human brain in different cross-sections are carried out through wavelet normalized energy and wavelet semi-log plots, which clearly points out the mismatch between results of vertical and horizontal unfolding. The mismatch of results confirms the heterogeneity in spatial domain. Using the multi-fractal de-trended fluctuation analysis (MFDFA), the mismatch between the values of Hurst exponent and width of singularity spectrum by vertical and horizontal unfolding confirms the same.

Wavelet and Fast Fourier Transform based analysis of Solar Image

Both of Wavelet and Fast Fourier Transform are strong signal processing tools in the field of Data Analysis. In this paper fast fourier transform (FFT) and Wavelet Transform are employed to observe some important features of Solar image (December, 2004). We have tried to find out the periodicity and coherence of different sections of the solar image. We plotted the distribution of energy in solar surface by analyzing the solar image with scalograms and 3D-coefficient plots.

Bell Soliton in Ultra-cold Atomic Fermi Gas

We demonstrate the existence of supersonic bell soliton in the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer-Bose-Einstein condensate (BCS-BEC) crossover regime. Starting from the extended Thomas-Fermi density functional theory of superfluid order parameter, a density transformation is used to map the hydrodynamic mean field equation to a Lienard type equation. As a result, bell solitons are obtained as exact solutions, which is further verified by the numerical solution of the dynamical equation. The stability of the soliton is established and its behaviour in the entire crossover domain is obtained. It is found that, akin to the case of vortices, the bell solitons yield highest contrast in the BEC regime.

Loss of superfluidity in the Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical lattice with cubic and quintic nonlinearity

In a one-dimensional shallow optical lattice, in the presence of both cubic and quintic nonlinearity, a superfluid density wave is identified in a Bose-Einstein condensate. Interestingly, it ceases to exist when only one of these interactions is operative. We predict the loss of superfluidity through a classical dynamical phase transition, where modulational instability leads to the loss of phase coherence. In a certain parameter domain, the competition between lattice potential and the interactions is shown to give rise to a stripe phase, where atoms are confined in finite domains. In a pure two-body case, apart from the known superfluid and insulating phases, a density wave insulating phase is found to exist, possessing two frequency modulations commensurate with the lattice potential.

Exact solutions of the modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation in `smart' periodic potentials in the presence of external source

We report wide class of exact solutions of the modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation (GPE) in `smart' Jacobi elliptic potentials: $V(ξ)=-V_{0}{\rm sn(ξ,m)}$, $V(ξ)=-V_{0}{\rm cn(ξ,m)}$, and $V(ξ)=-V_{0}{\rm dn(ξ,m)}$ in the presence of external source. Solitonlike solutions, singular solutions, and periodic solutions are found using a recently developed fractional transform: $ρ(ξ)=\frac{A+Bf^2}{1+Df}$, where $f$ is the respective Jacobi elliptic function and the amplitude parameters $A$, $B$, and $D$ {\it nonzero}. These results generalize those contained in (Paul T, Richter K and Schlagheck P 2005 \emph{Phys. Rev. Lett.} {\bf 94}, 020404) for nonzero trapping potential.

Generation of entangled channels for perfect teleportation channels using multi-electron quantum dots

In this work we have proposed a scheme for generating $N$ qubit entangled states which can teleport an unknown state perfectly. By switching on the exchange interaction ($J$) between the qubits one can get the desired states periodically. A multi electron quantum dot can be a possible realization for generating such $N$ qubit states with high fidelity. In the limit of $N \to \infty$, there exists a unique time $t=\frac{1}{J}\cos^{-1}(-1/8)$ where the Hamiltonian dynamics gives the $N$ qubit state that can assist perfect teleportation. We have also discussed the effect of the nuclear spin environment on the fidelity of teleportation for a general $N$ qubit entangled channel.

Soliton solutions of driven non-linear and higher order non-linear Schrödinger equations

We analyse the structure of the exact, dark and bright soliton solutions of the driven non-linear Schrödinger equation. It is found that, a wide class of solutions of the higher order non-linear Schrödinger equation with a source can also be obtained through the above procedure. Distinct parameter ranges, allowing the existence of these solutions, phase locked with their respective sources, are delineated. Conditions for obtaining non-propagating solutions are found to be quite different for both the equations. A special case, where the scale of the soliton emerges as a free parameter, is obtained and the condition under which solitons can develop singularity is pointed out. We also study the highly restrictive structure of the localised solutions, when the phase and amplitude get coupled.
