Jordanian $U_{h,s}gl(2)$ and its coloured realization

A two-parametric non-standard (Jordanian) deformation of the Lie algebra $gl(2)$ is constructed, and then, exploited to obtain a new, triangular R-matrix solution of the coloured Yang-Baxter equation. The corresponding coloured quantum group is presented explicitly.

Quantum two-photon algebra from non-standard U_z(sl(2,R)) and a discrete time Schrödinger equation

The non-standard quantum deformation of the (trivially) extended sl(2,R) algebra is used to construct a new quantum deformation of the two-photon algebra h_6 and its associated quantum universal R-matrix. A deformed one-boson representation for this algebra is deduced and applied to construct a first order deformation of the differential equation that generates the two-photon algebra eigenstates in Quantum Optics. On the other hand, the isomorphism between h_6 and the (1+1) Schrödinger algebra leads to a new quantum deformation for the latter for which a differential-difference realization is presented. From it, a time discretization of the heat-Schrödinger equation is obtained and the quantum Schrödinger generators are shown to be symmetry operators.

A Jordanian quantum two-photon/Schrodinger algebra

A non-standard quantum deformation of the two-photon algebra $h_6$ is constructed, and its quantum universal R-matrix is given. Representations of this new quantum algebra are studied on the Fock space and translated into Fock-Bargmann realizations that provide a direct formalism for the definition of deformed states of light. Finally, the isomorphism between $h_6$ and the (1+1) Schrödinger algebra is used to introduce a new (non-standard) Hopf algebra deformation of this latter symmetry algebra.

Quantum Heisenberg--Weyl Algebras

All Lie bialgebra structures on the Heisenberg--Weyl algebra $[A_+,A_-]=M$ are classified and explicitly quantized. The complete list of quantum Heisenberg--Weyl algebras so obtained includes new multiparameter deformations, most of them being of the non-coboundary type.

An Alternative to the Chevalley Description of U[sl(n+1)] and U_q[sl(n+1)]

An alternative to the Chevalley description of Lie algebra sl(n+1), of its universal enveloping algebra U[sl(n+1)] and of its q-deformed analogue U_q[sl(n+1)] in terms of generators, called creation and annihilation generators (CAGs), and relations is given. It is indicated (without further discussions) that the representations of the CAGs describe new quantum statistics, which is a particular case of the Haldane exclusion statistics.

Nonstandard Poincare and Heisenberg Algebras

New deformations of the Poincare group $Fun(P(1+1))$ and its dual enveloping algebra $U(p(1+1))$ are obtained as a contraction of the $h$-deformed (Jordanian) quantum group $Fun(SL_h(2))$ and its dual. A nonstandard quantization of the Heisenberg algebra $U(h(1))$ is also investigated.

h-deformation of GL(1|1)

h-deformation of (graded) Hopf algebra of functions on supergroup GL(1|1) is introduced via a contration of GL_q (1|1). The deformation parameter h is odd (grassmann). Related differential calculus on h-superplane is presented.

Left Regular Representation of $sl_q(3)$: Reduction and Intertwiners

Reduction of the left regular representation of quantum algebra $sl_q(3)$ is studied and ~$q$-difference intertwining operators are constructed. The irreducible representations correspond to the spaces of local sections of certain line bundles over the q-flag manifold.

A (p,q) Deformation of the Universal Enveloping Superalgebra U(osp(2/2))

We investigate a two parameter quantum deformation of the universal enveloping orthosymplectic superalgebra U(osp(2/2)) by extending the Faddeev-Reshetikhin-Takhtajan formalism to the supersymetric case. It is shown that $U_{p,q}(osp(2/2))$ possesses a non-commutative, non-cocommutative Hopf algebra structure. All the results are expressed in the standard form using quantum Chevalley basis.
