Enhancing Text-to-Image Diffusion Transformer via Split-Text Conditioning

Current text-to-image diffusion generation typically employs complete-text conditioning. Due to the intricate syntax, diffusion transformers (DiTs) inherently suffer from a comprehension defect of complete-text captions. One-fly complete-text input either overlooks critical semantic details or causes semantic confusion by simultaneously modeling diverse semantic primitive types. To mitigate this defect of DiTs, we propose a novel split-text conditioning framework named DiT-ST. This framework converts a complete-text caption into a split-text caption, a collection of simplified sentences, to explicitly express various semantic primitives and their interconnections. The split-text caption is then injected into different denoising stages of DiT-ST in a hierarchical and incremental manner. Specifically, DiT-ST leverages Large Language Models to parse captions, extracting diverse primitives and hierarchically sorting out and constructing these primitives into a split-text input. Moreover, we partition the diffusion denoising process according to its differential sensitivities to diverse semantic primitive types and determine the appropriate timesteps to incrementally inject tokens of diverse semantic primitive types into input tokens via cross-attention. In this way, DiT-ST enhances the representation learning of specific semantic primitive types across different stages. Extensive experiments validate the effectiveness of our proposed DiT-ST in mitigating the complete-text comprehension defect.

Locate, Steer, and Improve: A Practical Survey of Actionable Mechanistic Interpretability in Large Language Models

Mechanistic Interpretability (MI) has emerged as a vital approach to demystify the opaque decision-making of Large Language Models (LLMs). However, existing reviews primarily treat MI as an observational science, summarizing analytical insights while lacking a systematic framework for actionable intervention. To bridge this gap, we present a practical survey structured around the pipeline: "Locate, Steer, and Improve." We formally categorize Localizing (diagnosis) and Steering (intervention) methods based on specific Interpretable Objects to establish a rigorous intervention protocol. Furthermore, we demonstrate how this framework enables tangible improvements in Alignment, Capability, and Efficiency, effectively operationalizing MI as an actionable methodology for model optimization. The curated paper list of this work is available at https://github.com/rattlesnakey/Awesome-Actionable-MI-Survey.

LiveMoments: Reselected Key Photo Restoration in Live Photos via Reference-guided Diffusion

Live Photo captures both a high-quality key photo and a short video clip to preserve the precious dynamics around the captured moment. While users may choose alternative frames as the key photo to capture better expressions or timing, these frames often exhibit noticeable quality degradation, as the photo capture ISP pipeline delivers significantly higher image quality than the video pipeline. This quality gap highlights the need for dedicated restoration techniques to enhance the reselected key photo. To this end, we propose LiveMoments, a reference-guided image restoration framework tailored for the reselected key photo in Live Photos. Our method employs a two-branch neural network: a reference branch that extracts structural and textural information from the original high-quality key photo, and a main branch that restores the reselected frame using the guidance provided by the reference branch. Furthermore, we introduce a unified Motion Alignment module that incorporates motion guidance for spatial alignment at both the latent and image levels. Experiments on real and synthetic Live Photos demonstrate that LiveMoments significantly improves perceptual quality and fidelity over existing solutions, especially in scenes with fast motion or complex structures. Our code is available at https://github.com/OpenVeraTeam/LiveMoments.

Boosting Robust AIGI Detection with LoRA-based Pairwise Training

The proliferation of highly realistic AI-Generated Image (AIGI) has necessitated the development of practical detection methods. While current AIGI detectors perform admirably on clean datasets, their detection performance frequently decreases when deployed "in the wild", where images are subjected to unpredictable, complex distortions. To resolve the critical vulnerability, we propose a novel LoRA-based Pairwise Training (LPT) strategy designed specifically to achieve robust detection for AIGI under severe distortions. The core of our strategy involves the targeted finetuning of a visual foundation model, the deliberate simulation of data distribution during the training phase, and a unique pairwise training process. Specifically, we introduce distortion and size simulations to better fit the distribution from the validation and test sets. Based on the strong visual representation capability of the visual foundation model, we finetune the model to achieve AIGI detection. The pairwise training is utilized to improve the detection via decoupling the generalization and robustness optimization. Experiments show that our approach secured the 3th placement in the NTIRE Robust AI-Generated Image Detection in the Wild challenge

WisPaper: Your AI Scholar Search Engine

We present \textsc{WisPaper}, an end-to-end agent system that transforms how researchers discover, organize, and track academic literature. The system addresses two fundamental challenges. (1)~\textit{Semantic search limitations}: existing academic search engines match keywords but cannot verify whether papers truly address complex research questions; and (2)~\textit{Workflow fragmentation}: researchers must manually stitch together separate tools for discovery, organization, and monitoring. \textsc{WisPaper} tackles these through three integrated modules. \textbf{Scholar Search} combines rapid keyword retrieval with \textit{Deep Search}, in which an agentic model, \textsc{WisModel}, validates candidate papers against user queries through structured reasoning. Discovered papers flow seamlessly into \textbf{Library} with one click, where systematic organization progressively builds a user profile that sharpens the recommendations of \textbf{AI Feeds}, which continuously surfaces relevant new publications and in turn guides subsequent exploration, closing the loop from discovery to long-term awareness. On TaxoBench, \textsc{WisPaper} achieves 22.26\% recall, surpassing the O3 baseline (20.92\%). Furthermore, \textsc{WisModel} attains 93.70\% validation accuracy, effectively mitigating retrieval hallucinations.

Agri-R1: Agricultural Reasoning for Disease Diagnosis via Automated-Synthesis and Reinforcement Learning

Agricultural disease diagnosis challenges VLMs, as conventional fine-tuning requires extensive labels, lacks interpretability, and generalizes poorly. While reasoning improves model robustness, existing methods rely on costly expert annotations and rarely address the open-ended, diverse nature of agricultural queries. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{Agri-R1}, a reasoning-enhanced large model for agriculture. Our framework automates high-quality reasoning data generation via vision-language synthesis and LLM-based filtering, using only 19\% of available samples. Training employs Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) with a novel reward function that integrates domain-specific lexicons and fuzzy matching to assess both correctness and linguistic flexibility in open-ended responses. Evaluated on CDDMBench, our resulting 3B-parameter model achieves performance competitive with 7B- to 13B-parameter baselines, showing a +27.9\% relative gain in disease recognition accuracy, +33.3\% in agricultural knowledge QA, and a +26.10-point improvement in cross-domain generalization over standard fine-tuning. These results suggest that automated reasoning synthesis paired with domain-aware reward design may provide a broadly applicable paradigm for RL-based VLM adaptation in data-scarce specialized domains. NTIRE 2026 Challenge on Robust AI-Generated Image Detection in the Wild

This paper presents an overview of the NTIRE 2026 Challenge on Robust AI-Generated Image Detection in the Wild, held in conjunction with the NTIRE workshop at CVPR 2026. The goal of this challenge was to develop detection models capable of distinguishing real images from generated ones in realistic scenarios: the images are often transformed (cropped, resized, compressed, blurred) for practical usage, and therefore, the detection models should be robust to such transformations. The challenge is based on a novel dataset consisting of 108,750 real and 185,750 AI-generated images from 42 generators comprising a large variety of open-source and closed-source models of various architectures, augmented with 36 image transformations. Methods were evaluated using ROC AUC on the full test set, including both transformed and untransformed images. A total of 511 participants registered, with 20 teams submitting valid final solutions. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the challenge, describes the proposed solutions, and can be used as a valuable reference for researchers and practitioners in increasing the robustness of the detection models to real-world transformations.

Mnemis: Dual-Route Retrieval on Hierarchical Graphs for Long-Term LLM Memory

AI Memory, specifically how models organizes and retrieves historical messages, becomes increasingly valuable to Large Language Models (LLMs), yet existing methods (RAG and Graph-RAG) primarily retrieve memory through similarity-based mechanisms. While efficient, such System-1-style retrieval struggles with scenarios that require global reasoning or comprehensive coverage of all relevant information. In this work, We propose Mnemis, a novel memory framework that integrates System-1 similarity search with a complementary System-2 mechanism, termed Global Selection. Mnemis organizes memory into a base graph for similarity retrieval and a hierarchical graph that enables top-down, deliberate traversal over semantic hierarchies. By combining the complementary strength from both retrieval routes, Mnemis retrieves memory items that are both semantically and structurally relevant. Mnemis achieves state-of-the-art performance across all compared methods on long-term memory benchmarks, scoring 93.9 on LoCoMo and 91.6 on LongMemEval-S using GPT-4.1-mini.

LEAN-3D: Low-latency Hierarchical Point Cloud Codec for Mobile 3D Streaming

We aim to make learned point cloud compression deployable for low-latency streaming on mobile systems. While learned point cloud compression has shown strong coding efficiency, practical deployment on mobile platforms remains challenging because neural inference and entropy coding still incur substantial runtime overhead. This issue is critical for immersive 3D communication, where dense geometry must be delivered under tight end-to-end (E2E) latency and compute constraints. In this paper, we present LEAN-3D, a compute-aware point cloud codec for low-latency streaming. LEAN-3D designs a lightweight learned occupancy model at the shallow levels of a sparse occupancy hierarchy, where structural uncertainty is highest, and develops a lightweight deterministic coding scheme for the deep hierarchy tailored to the near-unary regime. We implement the complete encoder/decoder pipeline and evaluate it on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano edge device and a desktop host. In addition, LEAN-3D addresses the decoding failures observed in cross-platform deployment of learned codecs. Such failures arise from numerical inconsistencies in lossless entropy decoding across heterogeneous platforms. Experiments show that LEAN-3D achieves 3-5x latency reduction across datasets, reduces total edge-side energy consumption by up to 5.1x, and delivers lower sustained E2E latency under bandwidth-limited streaming. These results bring learned point cloud compression closer to deployable mobile 3D streaming.

Yet Even Less Is Even Better For Agentic, Reasoning, and Coding LLMs

Training effective software engineering agents requires large volumes of task-specific trajectories, incurring substantial data construction costs. Inspired by the "Less-Is-More" hypothesis in mathematical reasoning, we investigate its extension to agentic scenarios and propose an end-to-end training framework that achieves superior agentic capabilities with fewer but higher-quality training trajectories. This is achieved via STITCH (Sliding-memory Trajectory Inference and Task Chunking Heuristic), a coarse-to-fine mechanism that filters low-value noise and retains decision-critical tokens to maximize training signal quality. We conduct experiments across multiple agent frameworks (e.g., mini-SWE-agent, MSWE-agent), model scales (30B to 355B), and multilingual settings (Python, Java, and ArkTS). On SWE-bench Verified, models trained with STITCH achieve up to 63.16% relative improvement over base models. On Multi-SWE-bench (Java), MiniMax-M2.5-STITCH achieves 43.75% with our CodeArts Agent scaffold (+16.67%). On HarmonyOS (ArkTS), GLM-4.7-STITCH improves the compilation pass rate to 61.31% (+43.34%) with less than 1K training trajectories. Our results confirm that the "Less-Is-More" paradigm generalizes effectively to complex agentic tasks across diverse languages and model scales.

Spin-based magnetic detection of optically trapped single cell in microfluidic channel

Combining optical tweezers with fluorescence microscopy is a powerful tool for single-cell analysis, playing a pivotal role in disease diagnosis, cell sorting, and the investigation of cellular dynamics. However, fluorescence detection faces challenges such as blinking, photobleaching and autofluorescence in biotissues. To address these limitations, we developed a magnetic detection strategy by integrating quantum magnetometry using nitrogen-vacancy centers into optical tweezers, demonstrating precise trapping and manipulation of individual cells in microfluidic environment. We detected a magnetic signal of 89 μT from a single cell labeled with magnetic nanoparticles, compared to a noise floor of 3.9 μT observed in unlabeled cells. This platform provides a promising approach for high-precision single-cell analysis and holds significant potential for probing cellular activities within biological microenvironments.

Decision-Focused Surrogate Modeling for Mixed-Integer Linear Optimization

Mixed-integer optimization is at the core of many online decision-making systems that demand frequent updates of decisions in real time. However, due to their combinatorial nature, mixed-integer linear programs (MILPs) can be difficult to solve, rendering them often unsuitable for time-critical online applications. To address this challenge, we develop a data-driven approach for constructing surrogate optimization models in the form of linear programs (LPs) that can be solved much more efficiently than the corresponding MILPs. We train these surrogate LPs in a decision-focused manner such that for different model inputs, they achieve the same or close to the same optimal solutions as the original MILPs. One key advantage of the proposed method is that it allows the incorporation of all the original MILP's linear constraints, which significantly increases the likelihood of obtaining feasible predicted solutions. Results from two computational case studies indicate that this decision-focused surrogate modeling approach is highly data-efficient and provides very accurate predictions of the optimal solutions. In these examples, it outperforms more commonly used neural-network-based optimization proxies.

DeltaMem: Towards Agentic Memory Management via Reinforcement Learning

Recent advances in persona-centric memory have revealed the powerful capability of multi-agent systems in managing persona memory, especially in conversational scenarios. However, these complex frameworks often suffer from information loss and are fragile across varying scenarios, resulting in suboptimal performance. In this paper, we propose DeltaMem, an agentic memory management system that formulates persona-centric memory management as an end-to-end task within a single-agent setting. To further improve the performance of our agentic memory manager, we draw inspiration from the evolution of human memory and synthesize a user-assistant dialogue dataset along with corresponding operation-level memory updating labels. Building on this, we introduce a novel Memory-based Levenshtein Distance to formalize the memory updating reward, and propose a tailored reinforcement learning framework to further enhance the management capabilities of DeltaMem. Extensive experiments show that both training-free and RL-trained DeltaMem outperform all product-level baselines across diverse long-term memory benchmarks, including LoCoMo, HaluMem, and PersonaMem.

DeepCoT: Deep Continual Transformers for Real-Time Inference on Data Streams

Transformer-based models have dramatically increased their size and parameter count to tackle increasingly complex tasks. At the same time, there is a growing demand for high performance, low-latency inference on devices with limited resources. In particular, stream data inference is typically performed over a sliding temporal window, leading to highly redundant computations. While the recent Continual Transformers started addressing this issue, they can be effectively used only in shallow models, which limits their scope and generalization power. In this paper, we propose the Deep Continual Transformer (DeepCoT), a redundancy-free encoder attention mechanism that can be applied over existing deep encoder architectures with minimal changes. In our experiments over audio, video, and text streams, we show that DeepCoTs retain comparative performance to their non-continual baselines while offering a linear computational cost for all Transformer layers, which reduces up to two orders of magnitude in the running time compared to previous efficient models.

Disentangled Graph Prompting for Out-Of-Distribution Detection

When testing data and training data come from different distributions, deep neural networks (DNNs) will face significant safety risks in practical applications. Therefore, out-of-distribution (OOD) detection techniques, which can identify OOD samples at test time and alert the system, are urgently needed. Existing graph OOD detection methods usually characterize fine-grained in-distribution (ID) patterns from multiple perspectives, and train end-to-end graph neural networks (GNNs) for prediction. However, due to the unavailability of OOD data during training, the absence of explicit supervision signals could lead to sub-optimal performance of end-to-end encoders. To address this issue, we follow the pre-training+prompting paradigm to utilize pre-trained GNN encoders, and propose Disentangled Graph Prompting (DGP), to capture fine-grained ID patterns with the help of ID graph labels. Specifically, we design two prompt generators that respectively generate class-specific and class-agnostic prompt graphs by modifying the edge weights of an input graph. We also design several effective losses to train the prompt generators and prevent trivial solutions. We conduct extensive experiments on ten datasets to demonstrate the superiority of our proposed DGP, which achieves a relative AUC improvement of 3.63% over the best graph OOD detection baseline. Ablation studies and hyper-parameter experiments further show the effectiveness of DGP. Code is available at https://github.com/BUPT-GAMMA/DGP.

AgentSwing: Adaptive Parallel Context Management Routing for Long-Horizon Web Agents

As large language models (LLMs) evolve into autonomous agents for long-horizon information-seeking, managing finite context capacity has become a critical bottleneck. Existing context management methods typically commit to a single fixed strategy throughout the entire trajectory. Such static designs may work well in some states, but they cannot adapt as the usefulness and reliability of the accumulated context evolve during long-horizon search. To formalize this challenge, we introduce a probabilistic framework that characterizes long-horizon success through two complementary dimensions: search efficiency and terminal precision. Building on this perspective, we propose AgentSwing, a state-aware adaptive parallel context management routing framework. At each trigger point, AgentSwing expands multiple context-managed branches in parallel and uses lookahead routing to select the most promising continuation. Experiments across diverse benchmarks and agent backbones show that AgentSwing consistently outperforms strong static context management methods, often matching or exceeding their performance with up to $3\times$ fewer interaction turns while also improving the ultimate performance ceiling of long-horizon web agents. Beyond the empirical gains, the proposed probabilistic framework provides a principled lens for analyzing and designing future context management strategies for long-horizon agents.

SpeechRole: A Large-Scale Dataset and Benchmark for Evaluating Speech Role-Playing Agents

Speech is essential for realistic role-playing, yet existing work on role-playing agents largely centers on text, leaving Speech Role-Playing Agents (SRPAs) underexplored and without systematic evaluation. We introduce SpeechRole, a unified framework for developing and assessing SRPAs. SpeechRole-Data contains 98 roles and 111k speech-to-speech conversations with rich timbre and prosodic variation, providing large-scale resources for training SRPAs. SpeechRole-Eval offers a multidimensional benchmark that directly evaluates generated speech, preserving paralinguistic cues and measuring interaction ability, speech expressiveness, and role-playing fidelity. Experiments show that end-to-end SRPAs such as GPT-4o Audio achieve strong fluency and naturalness, but remain limited in prosody consistency and emotion appropriateness. In contrast, current open-source end-to-end models exhibit substantial performance gaps across multiple evaluation dimensions. Cascaded and end-to-end systems achieve comparable results in interaction ability and role-playing fidelity, suggesting that these aspects are still largely influenced by the underlying text-based language models. We release all data, code, and evaluation tools at https://github.com/yuhui1038/SpeechRole.

Unblur-SLAM: Dense Neural SLAM for Blurry Inputs

We propose Unblur-SLAM, a novel RGB SLAM pipeline for sharp 3D reconstruction from blurred image inputs. In contrast to previous work, our approach is able to handle different types of blur and demonstrates state-of-the-art performance in the presence of both motion blur and defocus blur. Moreover, we adjust the computation effort with the amount of blur in the input image. As a first stage, our method uses a feed-forward image deblurring model for which we propose a suitable training scheme that can improve both tracking and mapping modules. Frames that are successfully deblurred by the feed-forward network obtain refined poses and depth through local-global multi-view optimization and loop closure. Frames that fail the first stage deblurring are directly modeled through the global 3DGS representation and an additional blur network to model multiple blurred sub-frames and simulate the blur formation process in 3D space, thereby learning sharp details and refined sub-frame poses. Experiments on several real-world datasets demonstrate consistent improvements in both pose estimation and sharp reconstruction results of geometry and texture.
