AgenticGen: Reward-Guided Agentic Video Generation for Advertising

Advertising video generation is not only a video synthesis task, but also a product-conditioned reasoning problem whose success is measured by online business metrics. Recent video foundation models can generate realistic clips from multimodal conditions, yet they do not optimize how a product should be transformed into an effective advertisement or how future generation should be improved from online business feedback. To close this loop, we propose AgenticGen, a reward-guided agentic framework that decomposes advertising video generation into two trainable reasoning stages, strategy selection and draft generation, thereby exposing optimization targets that online business feedback can supervise. AgenticGen learns a performance-based reward from accumulated online feedback and a complementary rubric-based reward aligned with human quality standards, then uses them to supervise policy optimization. DPO first moves the agentic policies toward online preferences, and GRPO further refines both stages with process and outcome rewards. Offline experiments validate the reward models and successive policy optimization. Online A/B experiments in the TikTok advertising system show that AgenticGen after DPO and GRPO improves CTR by 2.72%, CVR by 2.63%, and Advv by 9.61% over the SFT baseline.

JoVA: Unified Multimodal Learning for Joint Video-Audio Generation and Editing

In this paper, we present JoVA, a streamlined framework that unifies joint video-audio generation and editing. While existing methods often rely on fragmented, task-specific architectures or complex fusion mechanisms, JoVA employs native joint representation learning for direct video, audio, and text interaction in a dual-branch architecture. This design eliminates redundant alignment modules and effectively unifies diverse multimodal tasks within a single model. Furthermore, we utilize channel-wise conditioning for flexible image and video reference to avoid massive token expansion, alongside a mouth-area loss to enhance lip alignment. To fully empower and systematically evaluate this framework, we construct a comprehensive training corpus encompassing video-audio generation and editing datasets, and introduce unified benchmarks tailored for these multimodal tasks. Extensive experiments demonstrate that JoVA achieves state-of-the-art performance across benchmarks, establishing it as an extensible framework for versatile content creation. OpenVE-3M: A Large-Scale High-Quality Dataset for Instruction-Guided Video Editing

The quality and diversity of instruction-based image editing datasets are continuously increasing, yet large-scale, high-quality datasets for instruction-based video editing remain scarce. To address this gap, we introduce OpenVE-3M, an open-source, large-scale, and high-quality dataset for instruction-based video editing. It comprises two primary categories: spatially-aligned edits (Global Style, Background Change, Local Change, Local Remove, Local Add, and Subtitles Edit) and non-spatially-aligned edits (Camera Multi-Shot Edit and Creative Edit). All edit types are generated via a meticulously designed data pipeline with rigorous quality filtering. OpenVE-3M surpasses existing open-source datasets in terms of scale, diversity of edit types, instruction length, and overall quality. Furthermore, to address the lack of a unified benchmark in the field, we construct OpenVE-Bench, containing 431 video-edit pairs that cover a diverse range of editing tasks with three key metrics highly aligned with human judgment. We present OpenVE-Edit, a 5B model trained on our dataset that demonstrates remarkable efficiency and effectiveness by setting a new state-of-the-art on OpenVE-Bench, outperforming all prior open-source models including a 14B baseline. MM-BrowseComp: A Comprehensive Benchmark for Multimodal Browsing Agents

AI agents with advanced reasoning and tool-use capabilities have demonstrated impressive performance in web browsing for deep search. However, existing benchmarks such as BrowseComp primarily focus on textual content, overlooking the prevalence of multimodal content. To bridge this gap, we introduce MM-BrowseComp, a novel benchmark comprising 400 challenging, hand-crafted questions designed to evaluate multimodal retrieval and reasoning capabilities. Unlike prior work, MM-BrowseComp incorporates visual prompts and necessitates the extraction of key evidence from web images and videos to complete questions, rendering text-only approaches insufficient. Additionally, we provide a verified checklist for each question, enabling fine-grained analysis of multimodal dependencies and reasoning paths. Our comprehensive evaluation of 27 state-of-the-art models reveals that even leading models like GPT-5-High with tools achieve only 24.25\% accuracy, highlighting the suboptimal multimodal browsing capabilities, establishing MM-BrowseComp as a rigorous new standard for the field.

SwapText: Image Based Texts Transfer in Scenes

Swapping text in scene images while preserving original fonts, colors, sizes and background textures is a challenging task due to the complex interplay between different factors. In this work, we present SwapText, a three-stage framework to transfer texts across scene images. First, a novel text swapping network is proposed to replace text labels only in the foreground image. Second, a background completion network is learned to reconstruct background images. Finally, the generated foreground image and background image are used to generate the word image by the fusion network. Using the proposing framework, we can manipulate the texts of the input images even with severe geometric distortion. Qualitative and quantitative results are presented on several scene text datasets, including regular and irregular text datasets. We conducted extensive experiments to prove the usefulness of our method such as image based text translation, text image synthesis, etc.

IncepText: A New Inception-Text Module with Deformable PSROI Pooling for Multi-Oriented Scene Text Detection

Incidental scene text detection, especially for multi-oriented text regions, is one of the most challenging tasks in many computer vision applications. Different from the common object detection task, scene text often suffers from a large variance of aspect ratio, scale, and orientation. To solve this problem, we propose a novel end-to-end scene text detector IncepText from an instance-aware segmentation perspective. We design a novel Inception-Text module and introduce deformable PSROI pooling to deal with multi-oriented text detection. Extensive experiments on ICDAR2015, RCTW-17, and MSRA-TD500 datasets demonstrate our method's superiority in terms of both effectiveness and efficiency. Our proposed method achieves 1st place result on ICDAR2015 challenge and the state-of-the-art performance on other datasets. Moreover, we have released our implementation as an OCR product which is available for public access.
