SyncSpace: Layout-Conditioned 3D Gaussian Splatting for Space Reskinning in Mixed Reality

We present SyncSpace, a system that achieves both spatial alignment and visual consistency between a generated 3DGS world and physical space. We first scan the space via depth sensing to extract 3D bounding boxes, which we render into a layout-only panorama and feed as a geometric prior to a generative world model, producing a Gaussian splat scene in which objects are re-semantized to fit a target style without per-object control. We then align the generated scene to physical space with a coarse-to-fine registration algorithm, refined manually via pinch gestures when automatic registration does not converge. We demonstrate a hand-tracked engulfment interaction in which the virtual world rises to replace the physical space, and show a single space reskinned into multiple stylistically distinct worlds with its layout preserved.

FinTagging: Benchmarking LLMs for Extracting and Structuring Financial Information

Accurate interpretation of numerical data in financial reports is critical for markets and regulators. Although XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) provides a standard for tagging financial figures, mapping thousands of facts to over 10k US GAAP concepts remains costly and error prone. Existing benchmarks oversimplify this task as flat, single step classification over small subsets of concepts, ignoring the hierarchical semantics of the taxonomy and the structured nature of financial documents. Consequently, these benchmarks fail to evaluate Large Language Models (LLMs) under realistic reporting conditions. To bridge this gap, we introduce FinTagging, the first comprehensive benchmark for structure aware and full scope XBRL tagging. We decompose the complex tagging process into two subtasks: (1) FinNI (Financial Numeric Identification), which extracts entities and types from heterogeneous contexts including text and tables; and (2) FinCL (Financial Concept Linking), which maps extracted entities to the full US GAAP taxonomy. This two stage formulation enables a fair assessment of LLMs' capabilities in numerical reasoning and taxonomy alignment. Evaluating diverse LLMs in zero shot settings reveals that while models generalize well in extraction, they struggle significantly with fine grained concept linking, highlighting critical limitations in domain specific structure aware reasoning.

MV2UV: Generating High-quality UV Texture Maps with Multiview Prompts

Generating high-quality textures for 3D assets is a challenging task. Existing multiview texture generation methods suffer from the multiview inconsistency and missing textures on unseen parts, while UV inpainting texture methods do not generalize well due to insufficient UV data and cannot well utilize 2D image diffusion priors. In this paper, we propose a new method called MV2UV that combines 2D generative priors from multiview generation and the inpainting ability of UV refinement to get high-quality texture maps. Our key idea is to adopt a UV space generative model that simultaneously inpaints unseen parts of multiview images while resolving the inconsistency of multiview images. Experiments show that our method enables a better texture generation quality than existing methods, especially in unseen occluded and multiview-inconsistent parts.

Evaluation and Benchmarking Suite for Financial Large Language Models and Agents

Over the past three years, the financial services industry has witnessed Large Language Models (LLMs) and agents transitioning from the exploration stage to readiness and governance stages. Financial large language models (FinLLMs), such as open FinGPT and proprietary BloombergGPT , have great potential in financial applications, including retrieving real-time data, tutoring, analyzing sentiment of social media, analyzing SEC filings, and agentic trading. However, general-purpose LLMs and agents lack financial expertise and often struggle to handle complex financial reasoning. This paper presents an evaluation and benchmarking suite that covers the lifecycle of FinLLMs and FinAgents. This suite led by SecureFinAI Lab includes an evaluation pipeline and a governance framework collaborating with Linux Foundation and PyTorch Foundation, a FinLLM Leaderboard with HuggingFace, an AgentOps framework with Red Hat, and a documentation website with Rensselear Center of Open Source. Our collaborative development evolves through three stages: FinLLM Exploration (2023), FinLLM Readiness (2024), and FinAI Governance (2025). The proposed suite serves as an open platform that enables researchers and practitioners to perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of different FinLLMs and FinAgents, fostering a more robust and reliable FinAI ecosystem.

Jigsaw3D: Disentangled 3D Style Transfer via Patch Shuffling and Masking

Controllable 3D style transfer seeks to restyle a 3D asset so that its textures match a reference image while preserving the integrity and multi-view consistency. The prevalent methods either rely on direct reference style token injection or score-distillation from 2D diffusion models, which incurs heavy per-scene optimization and often entangles style with semantic content. We introduce Jigsaw3D, a multi-view diffusion based pipeline that decouples style from content and enables fast, view-consistent stylization. Our key idea is to leverage the jigsaw operation - spatial shuffling and random masking of reference patches - to suppress object semantics and isolate stylistic statistics (color palettes, strokes, textures). We integrate these style cues into a multi-view diffusion model via reference-to-view cross-attention, producing view-consistent stylized renderings conditioned on the input mesh. The renders are then style-baked onto the surface to yield seamless textures. Across standard 3D stylization benchmarks, Jigsaw3D achieves high style fidelity and multi-view consistency with substantially lower latency, and generalizes to masked partial reference stylization, multi-object scene styling, and tileable texture generation. Parameter Estimation based Automatic Modulation Recognition for Radio Frequency Signal

Automatic modulation recognition (AMR) critically contributes to spectrum sensing, dynamic spectrum access, and intelligent communications in cognitive radio systems. The introduction of deep learning has greatly improved the accuracy of AMR. However, current automatic identification methods require the input of key parameters such as the carrier frequency, which is necessary to convert the radio frequency (RF) to a base-band signal before it can be used for identification. In addition, the high complexity of deep learning models leads to high computational effort and long recognition times of existing methods, which are difficult to implement in demodulation system deployments. To address the above issues, in this paper, we first use power spectrum analysis to estimate the carrier frequency and signal bandwidth, which realizes the effective conversion from RF signals to base-band signals. This paper chooses the long short-term memory (LSTM) network as the model for automatic identification, which has low implementation complexity while maintaining high accuracy. Finally, by training the LSTM with actual sampling data combined with parameter estimation (PE), the method proposed in this paper can guarantee more than 90% format recognition accuracy.

Transfer Learning Guided Noise Reduction for Automatic Modulation Classification

Automatic modulation classification (AMC) has emerged as a key technique in cognitive radio networks in sixth-generation (6G) communications. AMC enables effective data transmission without requiring prior knowledge of modulation schemes. However, the low classification accuracy under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) limits the implementation of AMC techniques under the rapidly changing physical channels in 6G and beyond. This paper investigates the AMC technique for the signals with dynamic and varying SNRs, and a deep learning based noise reduction network is proposed to reduce the noise introduced by the wireless channel and the receiving equipment. In particular, a transfer learning guided learning framework (TNR-AMC) is proposed to utilize the scarce annotated modulation signals and improve the classification accuracy for low SNR modulation signals. The numerical results show that the proposed noise reduction network achieves an accuracy improvement of over 20\% in low SNR scenarios, and the TNR-AMC framework can improve the classification accuracy under unstable SNRs.

Spatial Shortcut Network for Human Pose Estimation

Like many computer vision problems, human pose estimation is a challenging problem in that recognizing a body part requires not only information from local area but also from areas with large spatial distance. In order to spatially pass information, large convolutional kernels and deep layers have been normally used, introducing high computation cost and large parameter space. Luckily for pose estimation, human body is geometrically structured in images, enabling modeling of spatial dependency. In this paper, we propose a spatial shortcut network for pose estimation task, where information is easier to flow spatially. We evaluate our model with detailed analyses and present its outstanding performance with smaller structure.

Learning deep representation from coarse to fine for face alignment

In this paper, we propose a novel face alignment method that trains deep convolutional network from coarse to fine. It divides given landmarks into principal subset and elaborate subset. We firstly keep a large weight for principal subset to make our network primarily predict their locations while slightly take elaborate subset into account. Next the weight of principal subset is gradually decreased until two subsets have equivalent weights. This process contributes to learn a good initial model and search the optimal model smoothly to avoid missing fairly good intermediate models in subsequent procedures. On the challenging COFW dataset [1], our method achieves 6.33% mean error with a reduction of 21.37% compared with the best previous result [2].
