The mirror map and other natural tangent tensors

We review the intrinsic geometry of the tangent bundle of a differentiable manifold $M$, aside from any non-natural structures. We recall the properties of the mirror map $B\in\mathrm{End}(TTM)$, known also as the canonical endomorphism or the almost-tangent structure, solve some cohomological questions and raise other induced by the $\mathrm{d}_B$ operator.

Scrutinizing the Light Scalar Quarkonia from LSR at Higher Orders

We scrutinize, improve some determinations of the masses and couplings of light scalar quarkonia ($\bar qq$ and four-quark states) and present new results for the $\pi^+\pi^-,K^+K^-,\dots$ molecules using QCD Laplace Sum Rule (LSR) truncated at the $D=6$ dimension vacuum condensates. We pay a special attention on the higher order perturbative (PT) corrections up to the (estimated) ${\cal O}(\alpha_s^5)$ which improve the quality of the analysis. We request that the optimal results obey the rigorous constraint: {\it Resonance $\geq$ QCD continuum contributions ($R_{P/C}\geq 1$)} in the LSR which excludes a Breit-Wigner / on-shell (not to be confused with a complex pole) scalar meson mass around (500-600) MeV obtained for values [$t_c\leq (1\sim 1.5)$ GeV$^2$] of the QCD continuum threshold. Mass-splittings due to $SU3$ breakings are small. We discuss the different assignements of the observed scalar mesons below 2 GeV in the Conclusions where the $I=0$ states are compared with the scalar gluonia. The results are compiled in Table 3 to 6.

Pseudoscalar and Vector $T_{QQ\bar q\bar q'}$ Spectra and Couplings from LSR at NLO

We present systematic and improved estimates of the masses and couplings of the $(0^-)$ and $(1^-)$ $T_{QQ\bar q\bar q'}$ states ($Q= c,b;q,q'= u,d,s$) using QCD Laplace sum rules (LSR) and their ratios R within $\tau$ and $t_c$-stabilities criteria complemented by the (rigorous) condition: $R_{P/C} \equiv$ { Pole (Resonance) over the QCD continuum contributions} $ \geq 1$. NLO factorized perturbative (PT) QCD corrections are included for giving a meaning on the choice of the used running MS heavy quark mass, while the OPE is truncated at the under-controlled $d=6$ dimension condensates. Our results are compiled in Tables 4,7,10,12 and compared with some LO existing ones. We observe that the icurrents lead to two classes : Class H (Heavy) states with masses around 6 (resp. 13) GeV for charm (resp. bottom) channels. Class L (Light) states $T_{cc\bar q\bar q'}(3.8\sim 4.4)$ where the pseudoscalar (resp. all vector states) are below the open charm thresholds and $T_{bb\bar q\bar q'}(\simeq 10.4)$ where all of them are below the open beauty thresholds. Mass-splittings due to SU3 breakings are tiny (< 50 MeV). Though more accessible experimentally, Class L states have weaker couplings to the currents than the Class H ones and may be difficult to observe. The mass-splittings between the 1st radial excitation and the ground state are about 2 GeV which are (almost) heavy flavour and current-type independent while their couplings are large signaling new dynamics of these exotic states. Quark masses behaviours of the masses and couplings based on empirical observation are discussed. The eventual findings of the $T_{cc\bar u\bar d}$(6.3) $0^-$ ground state which may not be obscured by the Class L 1st radial excitations can be an alternative way to test the vacuum saturation violation of the four-quark $d=6$ condensates.

Improved XTZ masses and mass ratios from Laplace Sum Rules at NLO

We present improved estimates of the couplings, masses and mass ratios of the Z_Q,X_Q and T_{QQqq} states using QCD Laplace sum rules (LSR), their ratios R and double ratios DRSR within stability criteria, where the NLO factorized PT QCD corrections are included which is important for giving a meaning on the running MS heavy quark mass used in the analysis. We show that combined R and DRSR can provide more precise results. First, we conclude that the observed X_c(3872) and Z_c(3900) are tetramoles states (superposition of quasi-degenerated molecule and a tetraquark states having (almost) the same coupling to the currents) with the predicted masses: M_{T_{X_c}}=3876(44) MeV and M_{ T_{Z_c}}=3900(42) MeV. In the 2nd part, we focus on the analysis of the four-quark nature of different T_{QQqq'} 1^+ and 0^+ states within the 3_c3_c interpolating currents. The final results are summarized in Table 7. Combined R and DRSR calibrated to the observed X_c(3872) lead to a precise prediction of e.g. M_{T_{cc}^{1^+}}=3886(6) MeV. In a similar way, the DRSR for M_{T_{cc}^{0^+}}/M_{T_{cc}^{1^+}} calibrated to M_{T_{cc}^{1^+}} gives M_{T_{cc}^{0^+}}= 3883(3) MeV. The SU3 breaking ratios M_{T_{ccss}^{0^+}}/ M_{T_{cc}^{0^+}} lead to the improved mass predictions: M_{T_{ccss}^{0^+}}=3988(12) MeV. In the 3rd part, the analysis is extended to the beauty mesons, where we find the tetramole masses : M_{ T_{Z_b}}=10579(99) MeV and M_{X_b}=10545(131) MeV. We also observe that the T^{1^+,0^+}_{bbqq'} states are (almost) stable (within the errors) against strong interactions. In the 4th part, we (critically) review and correct some recent LSR estimates of the T^{1^+,0^+}_{QQqq'} masses. Our results from LSR+DRSR are confronted with the ones from some other approaches (lattices and quark models) in Fig. 25.

New Hsiung-Minkowski identities

We find the first three most general Minkowski or Hsiung-Minkowski identities relating the total mean curvatures $H_i$, of degrees $i=1,2,3$, of a closed hypersurface $N$ immersed in a given orientable Riemannian manifold $M$ endowed with any given vector field $P$. Then we specialise the three identities to the case when $P$ is a position vector field. We further obtain that the classical Minkowski identity is natural to all Riemannian manifolds and, moreover, that a corresponding 1st degree Hsiung-Minkowski identity holds true for all Einstein manifolds. We apply the result to hypersurfaces with constant $H_1,H_2$.

Natural SU(2)-structures on tangent sphere bundles

We define and study natural $\mathrm{SU}(2)$-structures, in the sense of Conti-Salamon, on the total space $\cal S$ of the tangent sphere bundle of any given oriented Riemannian 3-manifold $M$. We recur to a fundamental exterior differential system of Riemannian geometry. Essentially, two types of structures arise: the contact-hypo and the non-contact and, for each, we study the conditions for being hypo, nearly-hypo or double-hypo. We discover new double-hypo structures on $S^3\times S^2$, of which the well-known Sasaki-Einstein are a particular case. Hyperbolic geometry examples also appear. In the search of the associated metrics, we find a theorem, useful for explicitly determining the metric, which applies to all $\mathrm{SU}(2)$-structures in general. Within our application to tangent sphere bundles, we discover a whole new class of metrics specific to 3d-geometry. The evolution equations of Conti-Salamon are considered; leading to a new integrable $\mathrm{SU}(3)$-structure on ${\cal S}\times\mathbb{R}_+$ associated to any flat $M$.

Minkowski identities for hypersurfaces in constant sectional curvature manifolds

We give a new proof of the generalized Minkowski identities relating the higher degree mean curvatures of orientable closed hypersurfaces immersed in a given constant sectional curvature manifold. Our methods rely on a fundamental differential system of Riemannian geometry introduced by the author. We develop the notion of position vector field, which lies at the core of the Minkowski identities.

XYZ -- spectra from QCD Laplace Sum Rules at Higher Orders

We review our results in Refs.[1,2] for the masses and couplings of heavy-light DD(BB)-like molecules and (Qq)(Qq)-like four-quark states from relativistic QCD Laplace sum rules (LSR) where next-to-next-to-leading order (N2LO) PT corrections in the chiral limit, next-to-leading order (NLO) SU3 PT corrections and non-perturbative contributions up to dimension d=6-8 are included. The factorization properties of molecule and four-quark currents have been used for the estimate of the higher order PT corrections. New integrated compact expressions of the spectral functions at leading order (LO) of perturbative QCD and up to dimensions d< (6 - 8) non-perturbative condensates are presented. The results are summarized in Tables 5 to 10, from which we conclude, within the errors, that the observed XZ states are good candidates for being 1^{++} and 0^{++} molecules or/and four-quark states, contrary to the observed Y states which are too light compared to the predicted 1^{-\pm} and 0^{-\pm} states. We find that the SU3 breakings are relatively small for the masses (< 10(resp. 3)%) for the charm (resp. bottom) channels while they are large (< 20%) for the couplings which decrease faster (1/m_{b}^{3/2}) than 1/m_{b}^{1/2} of HQET. QCD spectral sum rules (QSSR) approach cannot clearly separate (within the errors) molecules from four-quark states having the same quantum numbers. Results for the BK (DK)-like molecules and (Qq)(us)-like four-quark states from [3] are also reviewed which do not favour the molecule or/and four-quark interpretation of the X(5568). We suggest to scan the charm (2327 ~ 2444) MeV and bottom (5173 ~ 5226) MeV regions for detecting the (unmixed)(cu)ds and (bu)ds states. We expect that future experimental data and lattice results will check our predictions.

XYZ-SU3 Breakings from Laplace Sum Rules at Higher Orders

We present new compact integrated expressions of SU3 breaking corrections to QCD spectral functions of heavy-light molecules and four-quark XYZ-like states at lowest order (LO) of perturbative (PT) QCD and up to d=8 condensates of the OPE. Including N2LO PT corrections in the chiral limit and NLO SU3 PT corrections, which we have estimated by assuming the factorization of the four-quark spectral functions, we improve previous LO results for the XYZ-like masses and decay constants from QCD spectral sum rules. Systematic errors are estimated from a geometric growth of the higher order PT corrections and from some partially known d=8 non-perturbative contributions. Our optimal results, based on stability criteria, are summarized in Tables 18 to 21 and compared with some LO results in Table 22. In most channels, the SU3 corrections on the meson masses are tiny: < 10% (resp. <3%) for the c (resp. b)-quark channel but can be large for the couplings (< 20%). Within the lowest dimension currents, most of the 0^{++} and 1^{++} states are below the physical thresholds while our predictions cannot discriminate a molecule from a four-quark state. A comparison with the masses of some experimental candidates indicates that the 0^{++} X(4500) might have a large D^*_{s0}D^*_{s0} molecule component while an interpretation of the 0^{++} candidates as four-quark ground states is not supported by our findings. The 1^{++} X(4147) and X(4273) are compatible with the D^*_{s}D_{s}, \bar D^*_{s0}D_{s1} molecules and/or with the axial-vector A_c four-quark ground state. Our results for the 0^{-\pm}, 1^{-\pm} and for different beauty states can be tested in the future data. Finally, we revisit our previous estimates [1] for the D^*_{0}D^*_{0} and D^*_{0}D_{1} and present new results for the D_1D_1.

XYZ - SU3 Breakings from Laplace Sum Rule at Higher Orders: Summary

This talk reviews and summarizes some of our results in [1] on XYZ- SU3 Breakings obtained from QCD Laplace Sum Rules (LSR) at next-to-next-leading order (N2LO) of perturbative (PT) theory and including next-to-leading order (NLO) SU3 breaking corrections and leading order (LO) contributions of dimensions d< (6 - 8) non-perturbative condensates. We conclude that the observed X states are good candidates for being 1^++ and 0^++ molecules states. We find that the SU3 breakings are relatively small for the masses (< 10 (resp. 3) %) for the charm (resp. bottom) channels while they are large (< 20 %) for the couplings. Like in the chiral limit case, the couplings decrease faster: 1/m_b^3/2 than 1/m_b^1/2 of HQET. Our approach cannot clearly separate ( within the errors ) some molecule states from the four-quark ones with the same quantum numbers.

XYZ-like Spectra from Laplace Sum Rule at N2LO in the Chiral Limit

We present new compact integrated expressions of QCD spectral functions of heavy-light molecules and four-quark $XYZ$-like states at lowest order (LO) of perturbative (PT) QCD and up to $d=8$ condensates of the Operator Product Expansion (OPE). Then, by including up to next-to-next leading order (N2LO) PT QCD corrections, which we have estimated by assuming the factorization of the four-quark spectral functions, we improve previous LO results from QCD spectral sum rules (QSSR), on the $XYZ$-like masses and decay constants which suffer from the ill-defined heavy quark mass. PT N3LO corrections are estimated using a geometric growth of the PT series and are included in the systematic errors. Our optimal results based on stability criteria are summarized in Tables 11 to 14 and compared, in Section 10, with experimental candidates and some LO QSSR results. We conclude that the masses of the $XZ$ observed states are compatible with (almost) pure $J^{PC}=1^{+\pm}, 0^{++}$ molecule or/and four-quark states. The ones of the $1^{-\pm}, 0^{-\pm}$ molecule / four-quark states are about 1.5 GeV above the $Y_{c,b}$ mesons experimental candidates and hadronic thresholds. We also find that the couplings of these exotics to the associated interpolating currents are weaker than that of ordinary $D,B$ mesons ($f_{DD}\approx 10^{-3}f_D$) and may behave numerically as $1/ \bar m_b^{3/2}$ (resp. $1/ \bar m_b$) for the $1^{+},0^{+}$ (resp. $1^{-}, 0^{-}$) states which can stimulate further theoretical studies of these decay constants.

Nature of the X(5568) : a critical Laplace sum rule analysis at N2LO

We scrutinize recent QCD spectral sum rules (QSSR) results to lowest order (LO) predicting the masses of the BK molecule and (su)\bar(bd) four-quark states. We improve these results by adding NLO and N2LO corrections to the PT contributions giving a more precise meaning on the b-quark mass definition used in the analysis. We extract our optimal predictions using Laplace sum rule (LSR) within the standard stability criteria versus the changes of the external free parameters (τ-sum rule variable, t_c continuum threshold and subtraction constant μ). The smallness of the higher order PT corrections justifies (a posteriori) the LO order results + the uses of the ambiguous heavy quark mass to that order. However, our predicted spectra in the range (5173\sim 5226) MeV, summarized in Table 7, for exotic hadrons built with four different flavours (buds), do not support some previous interpretations of the D0 candidate[1], X(5568), as a pure molecule or a four-quark state. If experimentally confirmed, it could result from their mixing with an angle: sin 2θ\approx 0.15. One can also scan the region (2327~ 2444) MeV (where the D*_{s0}(2317) might be a good candidate) and the one (5173~ 5226) MeV for detecting these (cuds) and (buds) unmixed exotic hadrons (if any) via, eventually, their radiative or π+hadrons decays.

The G_2 sphere over a 4-manifold

We present a construction of a canonical G_2 structure on the unit sphere tangent bundle S_M of any given orientable Riemannian 4-manifold M. Such structure is never geometric or 1-flat, but seems full of other possibilities. We start by the study of the most basic properties of our construction. The structure is co-calibrated if, and only if, M is an Einstein manifold. The fibres are always associative. In fact, the associated 3-form results from a linear combination of three other volume 3-forms, one of which is the volume of the fibres. We also give new examples of co-calibrated structures on well known spaces. We hope this contributes both to the knowledge of special geometries and to the study of 4-manifolds.

Twistor theory of symplectic manifolds

This article is a contribution to the understanding of the geometry of the twistor space of a symplectic manifold. We consider the bundle $Z$ with fibre the Siegel domain Sp(2n,R)/U(n) existing over any given symplectic 2n-manifold M. Then, after recalling the construction of the almost complex structure induced on $Z$ by a symplectic connection on M, we study and find some specific properties of both. We show a few examples of twistor spaces, develop the interplay with the symplectomorphisms of M, find some results about a natural almost Hermitian structure on $Z$ and finally prove its n+1-holomorphic completeness. We end by proving a vanishing theorem about the Penrose transform.

On the twistor space of pseudo-spheres

We give a new proof that the sphere S^6 does not admit an integrable orthogonal complex structure, as in \cite{LeBrun}, following the methods from twistor theory. We present the twistor space of a pseudo-sphere S^{2n}_{2q}=SO_{2p+1,2q}/SO_{2p,2q} as a pseudo-Kähler symmetric space. We then consider orthogonal complex structures on the pseudo-sphere, only to prove such a structure cannot exist.
