In this paper we have put forth a novel methodology to relay data obtained by inbuilt sensors of smart phones in real time to remote database followed by fetching of this data . Smart phones are becoming very common and they are laced with a number of sensors that can not only be used in native applications but can also be sent to external nodes to be used by third parties for application and service development.
In this paper a novel approach for matrix manipulation and indexing is proposed .Here the elements in a row of matrix are designated by numeric value called permutation index followed by the elements of the row being randomised. This is done for all the rows of the matrix and in the end the set of permutation indices are put in the parent matrix and random locations depending on a pre decided scheme called passkey. This passkey is used to put back the elements of all the rows back in the correct sequence. This approach finds application in data encapsulation and hiding.
This paper describes a novel method of encrypting wave files in popular image formats like JPEG, TIF and PNG along with retrieving them from these image files. MATLAB software is used to perform matrix manipulation to encrypt and decrypt sound files into and from image files. This method is not only a stenographic means but also a data compression technique.
