Polynomial Solution of PT-/Non-PT-Symmetric and Non-Hermitian Generalized Woods-Saxon Potential via Nikiforov-Uvarov Method

Using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method, the bound state energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the PT-/non-PT-symmetric and non-Hermitian generalized Woods-Saxon (WS) potential with the real and complex-valued energy levels are obtained in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. According to the PT-symmetric quantum mechanics, we exactly solved the time-independent Schrodinger equation with same potential for the s-states and also for any l-state as well. It is shown that the results are in good agreement with the ones obtained before.

Bound Energy Masses of Mesons Containing the Fourth Generation and Iso-singlet Quarks

The fourth Standard Model (SM) family quarks and weak iso-singlet quarks The fourth Standard Model (SM) family quarks and weak iso-singlet quarks predicted by ${\rm E}_{6\text{}}$ GUT are considered. The spin-average of the pseudoscalar $η_{4}(n^{1}S_{0})$ and vector $ψ_{4}(n^{3}S_{1})$ quarkonium binding masses of the new mesons formed by the fourth Standard Model (SM) family and iso-singlet ${\rm E}_{6\text{}}$ with their mixings to ordinary quarks are investigated. Further, the fine and hyperfine mass splittings of the these states are also calculated. We solved the Schrödinger equation with logarithmic and Martin potentials using the Shifted large-${\rm N}$ expansion technique. Our results are compared with other models to gauge the reliability of the predictions and point out differences.

Exact solution of Schrodinger equation with deformed Ring-Shaped Potential

Exact solution of the Schrodinger equation with deformed ring shaped potential is obtained in the parabolic and spherical coordinates. The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used in the solution. Eigenfunctions and corresponding energy eigenvalues are calculated analytically. The agreement of our results is good.

B_{c} and heavy meson spectroscopy in the local approximation of the Schrodinger equation with relativistic kinematics

We present bound state masses of the self-conjugate and non-self-conjugate mesons in the context of the Schrödinger equation taking into account the relativistic kinematics and the quark spins. We apply the usual interaction by adding the spin dependent correction. The pseudoscalar and vector decay constants of the $B_{c}$ meson and the unperturbed radial wave function at the origin are also calculated. We have obtained a local equation with a complete relativistic corrections to a class of three attractive static interaction potentials of the general form $% V(r)=-Ar^{-β}+κr^β+V_{0},$ with $β=1,1/2,~3/4$ which can also be decomposed into scalar and vector parts in the form $% V_{V}(r)=-Ar^{-β}+(1-ε)κr^β$ and $% V_{S}(r)=εκr^β+V_{0};$ where $0\leq ε\leq 1.$ The energy eigenvalues are carried out up to the third order approximation using the shifted large-N-expansion technique.

Mass Spectra of Heavy Quarkonia and B_{c} Decay Constant for Static Scalar-Vector Interactions with Relativistic Kinematics

We reproduce masses of the self-conjugate and non-self-conjugate mesons in the context of the spinless Salpeter equation taking into account the relativistic kinematics and the quark spins. The hyperfine splittings for the ${\rm 2S}$ charmonium and ${\rm 1S}$ bottomonium are also calculated. Further, the pseudoscalar and vector decay constants of the $B_{c}$ meson and the unperturbed radial wave function at the origin are also calculated. We have obtained a local equation with a complete relativistic corrections to a class of three attractive static interaction potentials of the general form $V(r)=-Ar^{-β}+κr^β+V_{0},$ with $β=1,1/2,~3/4$ decomposed into scalar and vector parts in the form $V_{V}(r)=-Ar^{-β}+(1-ε)κr^β$ and $V_{S}(r)=εκr^{β}+V_{0};$ where $0\leq ε\leq 1.$ We have used the shifted large-N-expansion technique (SLNET) to solve the reduced equation for the scalar $(ε=1),$ equal mixture of scalar-vector $(ε=1/2),$ and vector $(ε=0)$ confinement interaction kernels. The energy eigenvalues are carried out up to the third order approximation.

The Effect of Supersymmetric CP Phases on qq-bar Annihilations

We compute the rates for $q \bar{q}$ annihilation into charginos and neutralinos by taking into account the effects of supersymmetric soft phases. In particular, the phase of the $μ$ parameter gains direct accessibility via the production of dissimilar charginos and neutralinos. The phases of the trilinear soft masses do not have a significant effect on the cross sections. Our results can be important for sparticle searches at the LHC.

Non-extensive study of Rigid and Non-rigid Rotators

The isotropic rigid and non-rigid rotators in the framework of Tsallis statistics are studied in the high and low temperature limits. The generalized partition functions, internal energies and heat capacities are calculated. It has been found that results are in well agreement with the classical Boltzmann-Gibbs statistics in the limiting Tsallis index. It has also been observed that nonextensivity parameter q behaves like a scale parameter in the low temperature regime.

The effect of supersymmetric CP phases on Chargino-Pair Production via Drell-Yan Process at the LHC

We compute the rates for pp annihilation into chargino-pairs via Drell-Yan process taking into account the effects of supersymmetric soft phases, at proton-proton collider. In particular, the phase of the mu parameter gains direct accessibility via the production of dissimilar charginos. The phases of the trilinear soft masses do not have a significant effect on the cross sections.

Spectroscopy of $B_{c}$ meson in a semi-relativistic quark model using the shifted large-N expansion method

We calculate the $c\bar{b}$ mass spectrum, the splitting values and some other properties in the framework of the semi-relativistic equation by applying the shifted large-N expansion technique. We use seven different central potentials together with an improved QCD-motivated interquark potentials calculated to two loops in the modified minimal-subtraction $% (\bar{MS}) $ scheme. The parameters of these potentials are fitted to generate the semi-relativistic bound states of $ c\bar{b}$ quarkonium system in close conformity with the experimental and the present available calculated center-of-gravity (c.o.g.) data. Calculations of the energy bound states are carried out up to third order. Our results are in excellent fit with the results of the other works.

B_c meson spectrum and hyperfine splittings in theshifted large-N-expansion technique

In the framework of potential models for heavy quarkonium, we compute the mass spectrum of the bottom-charmed $B_{c}$ meson system and spin-dependent splittings from the Schrödinger equation using the shifted-large-N expansion technique. The masses of the lightest vector $B_{c}^{+}$ and pseudoscalar $B_{c}$ states as well as the higher states below the threshold are estimated. Our predicted result for the ground state energy is $% 6253_{-6}^{+15}$ $MeV$ and are generally in exact agreement with earlier calculations. Calculations of the Schrödinger energy eigenvalues are carried out up to third order of the energy series. The parameters of each potential are adjusted to obtain best agreement with the experimental spin-averaged data (SAD). Our findings are compared with the observed data and with the numerical results obtained by other numerical methods.

Family nonuniversal Z-prime and b to s Gamma decay

We have calculated the branching ratio and CP asymmetry of B-->X_s +gamma decay within the family--nonuniversal Z' models. We have established certain bounds on the model parameters using the present experimental bounds. We also comment on the role of family--nonuniversality in the hadronic decay modes of the B meson.
