Duality for distributive and implicative semi-lattices

We develop a new duality for distributive and implicative meet semi-lattices. For distributive meet semi-lattices our duality generalizes Priestley's duality for distributive lattices and provides an improvement of Celani's duality. Our generalized Priestley spaces are similar to the ones constructed by Hansoul. Thus, one can view our duality for distributive meet semi-lattices as a completion of Hansoul's work. For implicative meet semi-lattices our duality generalizes Esakia's duality for Heyting algebras and provides an improvement of Vrancken-Mawet's and Celani's dualities. In the finite case it also yield's K\"ohler's duality. Thus, one can view our duality for implicative meet semi-lattices as a completion of K\"ohler's work. As a consequence, we also obtain a new duality for Heyting algebras, which is an alternative to the Esakia duality.

Priestley-style duality for filter-distributive congruential logics

We first present a Priestley-style dualitiy for the classes of algebras that are the algebraic counterpart of some congruential, finitary and filter-distributive logic with theorems. Then we analyze which properties of the dual spaces correspond to properties that the logic might enjoy, like the deduction theorem or the existence of a disjunction.

On Kalman's functor for bounded hemi-implicative semilattices and hemi-implicative lattices

Hemi-implicative semilattices (lattices), originally defined under the name of weak implicative semilattices (lattices), were introduced by the second author of the present paper. A hemi-implicative semilattice is an algebra $(H,\wedge,\rightarrow,1)$ of type $(2,2,0)$ such that $(H,\wedge)$ is a meet semilattice, $1$ is the greatest element with respect to the order, $a\rightarrow a = 1$ for every $a\in H$ and for every $a$, $b$, $c\in H$, if $a\leq b\rightarrow c$ then $a\wedge b \leq c$. A bounded hemi-implicative semilattice is an algebra $(H,\wedge,\rightarrow,0,1)$ of type $(2,2,0,0)$ such that $(H,\wedge,\rightarrow,1)$ is a hemi-implicative semilattice and $0$ is the first element with respect to the order. A hemi-implicative lattice is an algebra $(H,\wedge,\vee,\rightarrow,0,1)$ of type $(2,2,2,0,0)$ such that $(H,\wedge,\vee,0,1)$ is a bounded distributive lattice and the reduct algebra $(H,\wedge,\rightarrow,1)$ is a hemi-implicative semilattice. In this paper we introduce an equivalence for the categories of bounded hemi-implicative semilattices and hemi-implicative lattices, respectively, which is motivated by an old construction due J. Kalman that relates bounded distributive lattices and Kleene algebras.
