On Generalized Statistics and Stability in $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-Graded Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Theory

In the standard formulation of relativistic quantum field theory, a $\mathbb{Z}_2$-graded structure is assumed to realize locality and the boson-fermion dichotomy. While $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded extensions are known to be allowed at the level of symmetry, their realization in interacting quantum field theories remains unclear. In this paper, we construct a classical minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. We derive the invariant action and show that all kinetic terms have the correct sign, indicating the absence of classical ghost-like instabilities. Moreover, the positivity of the Hamiltonian follows from the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded supersymmetry algebra. As a result, we show that $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded generalized statistics can be realized at the classical level in a stable interacting supersymmetric gauge theory.

Integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Liouville Equation and Induced $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Virasoro Algebra

We present a framework for enlarging the construction of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded classical Toda theory from the class of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Lie algebras to the class of $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Lie superalgebras. This scheme is applied to derive a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of the super-Liouville equation based on a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2).$ The mathematical tools employed in this work are a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded version of the zero-curvature formalism and of the Polyakov's soldering procedure. It is demonstrated that both methods yield the same $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded super-Liouville equation. An algebraic construction of solutions to the resulting equations is also presented, together with their B\"acklund transformations. Furthermore, three distinct new $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extensions of the super-Virasoro algebra are obtained via Hamiltonian reduction of the WZNW currents defined for $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-$\mathfrak{osp}(1|2).$

Novel possible symmetries of $S$-matrix generated by $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded Lie superalgebras

In this paper, we explore the $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded Lie (super)algebras as novel possible generators of symmetries of $S$-matrix. As the results, we demonstrate that a $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded extension of the supersymmetric algebra can be a symmetry of $S$-matrix. Furthermore, it turns out that a $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$-graded Lie algebra appears as internal symmetries. They are natural extensions of Coleman-Mandula theorem and Haag-Lopszanski-Sohnius theorem, which are the no-go theorems for generators of symmetries of $S$-matrix.

Integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Extensions of the Liouville and Sinh-Gordon Theories

In this paper we present a general framework to construct integrable $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extensions of classical, two-dimensional Toda and conformal affine Toda theories. The scheme is applied to define the extended Liouville and Sinh-Gordon models; they are based on $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded color Lie algebras and their fields satisfy a parabosonic statististics. The mathematical tools here introduced are the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded covariant extensions of the Lax pair formalism and of the Polyakov's soldering procedure. The $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Sinh-Gordon model is derived from an affine $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded color Lie algebra, mimicking a procedure originally introduced by Babelon-Bonora to derive the ordinary Sinh-Gordon model. The color Lie algebras under considerations are: the $6$-generator $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded $sl_2$, the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded affine ${\widehat{sl_2}}$ algebra with two central extensions, the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded Virasoro algebra obtained from a Hamiltonian reduction.

$\mathcal{N}=2$ Double graded supersymmetric quantum mechanics via dimensional reduction

We present a novel $\mathcal{N} = 2 $ $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded supersymmetric quantum mechanics ($\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-SQM) which has different features from those introduced so far. It is a two-dimensional (two-particle) system and is the first example of the quantum mechanical realization of an eight-dimensional irrep of the $\mathcal{N}=2$ $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-supersymmetry algebra. The $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-SQM is obtained by quantizing the one-dimensional classical system derived by dimensional reduction from the two-dimensional $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-supersymmetric Lagrangian of $\mathcal{N}=1$, which we constructed in our previous work. The ground states of the $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-SQM are also investigated.

Integration on minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-superspace and emergence of space

We investigate the possibilities of integration on the minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-superspace. Two definitions are taken from the works by Poncin and Schouten and we examine their generalizations. It is shown that these definitions impose some restrictions on the integrable functions. We then introduce a new definition of integral, which is inspired by our previous work, and show that the definition does not impose restrictions on the integrable functions. An interesting feature of this definition is the emergence of a spatial coordinate which means that the integral is defined on $\mathbb{R}^2$ despite the fact that the $(0,0)$ part of the minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-superspace is $\mathbb{R}. $

$\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded supersymmetry via superfield on minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-superspace

A superfield formalism for the minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded version of supersymmetry is developed. This is done by using the recently introduced definition of integration on the minimal $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-superspace. It is shown that one may construct $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-supersymmetric action by the procedure similar to the standard supersymmetry. However, the Lagrangian obtained has very general interaction terms, which give rise to a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-graded extension of many known theories defined in two-dimensional spacetime. As an illustration, we will give a $\mathbb{Z}_2^2$-extension of the sine-Gordon model different from the one already discussed in the literature.
