Graph Neural Networks for the Graphical Bootstrap

We study a graph classification problem involving over 20 million graphs, arising from high-order perturbative computations of correlators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ super-Yang--Mills, a model closely related to the theory of the strong nuclear force. We benchmark graph neural networks, including graph transformers, achieving robust generalization to larger graphs with up to $99.996\%$ ROC AUC. Then, we analyze how the models can be used to gain a computational speedup compared to the traditional graphical bootstrap algorithm, through shrinking the redundant data by up to $85.5\%$ at the level of denominator graphs. Finally, we study the embeddings of the models to investigate their interpretability.

Novel cluster-algebraic letters for 5- and 6-point QCD processes

By breaking dual conformal invariance, we transform cluster-algebraic predictions for the alphabet of 9-point amplitudes in $\mathcal{N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory to analogous predictions for 5- and 6-point processes in QCD. We start by obtaining, for the first time, candidate letters for 6-point processes with one massive external leg, and discover that they surprisingly also contain nested square roots. We confirm that our results essentially contain the alphabet of all 1-loop integrals with these kinematics, and in their massless limit also the recently computed alphabet of finite, planar 2-loop amplitudes for 6-point massless QCD processes. In the latter case, we additionally find 162 letters that may appear at higher loops. We similarly produce candidate letters for 5-point 2-mass processes, whose comparison with the literature reveals a nontrivial overlap that also includes new letters.

An Exceptional Cluster Algebra for Higgs plus Jet Production

A recent evaluation of three-loop nonplanar Feynman integrals contributing to Higgs plus jet production has established their dependence on two novel symbol letters. We show that the resulting alphabet is described by a $G_2$ cluster algebra, enlarging the $C_2$ cluster algebra found to cover all previously known integrals relevant for this process. The cluster algebra connection we find reveals new adjacency relations, which significantly reduce the function space dimension of the non-planar triple ladder integral. These adjacencies may be understood in part by embedding $G_2$ inside higher-rank cluster algebras.

Dynamically restoring conformal invariance in (integrable) $σ$-models

Integrable $λ$-deformed $σ$-models are characterized by an underlying current algebra/coset model CFT deformed, at the infinitesimal level, by current/parafermion bilinears. We promote the deformation parameters to dynamical functions of time introduced as an extra coordinate. It is conceivable that by appropriately constraining them, the beta-functions vanish and consequently the $σ$-model stays conformal. Remarkably, we explicitly materialize this scenario in several cases having a single and even multiple deformation parameters. These generically obey a system of non-linear second-order ordinary differential equations. They are solved by the fixed points of the RG flow of the original $σ$-model. Moreover, by appropriately choosing initial conditions we may even interpolate between the RG fixed points as the time varies from the far past to the far future. Finally, we present an extension of our analysis to the Yang--Baxter deformed PCMs.
