Barboza-Alcaniz Equation of State Parametrization : Constraining the Parameters in Different Gravity Theories

To justify the twenty years old distant Ia Supernova observations which revealed to us that our universe is experiencing a late time cosmic acceleration, propositions of existence of exotic fluids inside our universe are made. These fluids are assumed to occupy homogeneously the whole space of the universe and to exert negative pressure from inside such that the late time accelerated expansion is caused. Among the different suggested models of such exotic matters/ energy popularly coined as dark matter / dark energy, a well known and popular process is "introduction of redshift parametrization" of the equation of state parameter of these fluids. We, very particularly, take the parametrization proposed by Barboza and Alcaniz along with the cosmological constant. We use thirty nine data points for Hubble's parameter calculated for different redshifts and try to constrain the dark energy equation of state parameters for Barboza Alcaniz modelling. We then constrain the dark energy parametrization parameters in the background of Einstein's general relativity, loop quantum gravity and Horava Lifshitz gravity one after another. We find the 1$σ$, 2$σ$ and 3$σ$ confidence contours for all these cases and compare them with each other. We try to speculate which gravity is constraining the parameters most and which one is letting the parameters to stay within a larger domain. We tally our results of 557 points Union2 Sample and again compare them for different gravity theories.

Pseudo Newtonian Potential For a Rotating Kerr Black Hole Embedded in Quintessence

Pseudo-Newtonian Potential has always been a useful tool to discuss the motion of a particle in space-time to avoid the tedious and nearly impossible nonlinear computations coming from the field equations of general relativity. Mukhopadhyay, in 2002, has introduced such a pseudo-Newtonian potential for rotating Kerr black hole which is efficient enough to replicate the scenario of the classical mechanics. But there was no such model to explain the dark energy realm. In 2016 S Ghosh introduced a Lagrangian for such rotating black hole embedded in quintessence. in this article we obtained a pseudo-Newtonian force for this new black hole solution embedded quintessence. This paper introduces a simple computational scheme to evaluate a pseudo-Newtonian force for any space-time metric. This model possesses at most $4.95 \%$ error corresponding to general relativistic results. Since we took a popular agent of dark energy, i.e., quintessence into account, this is a general form of pseudo-Newtonian force to explain late time accelerating universe. In this paper, it also has been discussed about the difference between the pseudo-Newtonian force with and without dark energy effect. This paper also explains the natures of our present universe and its fate(locally around a black hole when repulsive negative pressure of dark energy is taken into account).

Thermodynamic studies of Different Type of Black Holes: General Uncertainty Principle Approach

We present an investigation on thermodynamics of two different types of black holes viz. Kiselev black hole (asymptotically flat) and Taub-NUT (non-asymptotically flat) black hole. We compute the thermodynamic variables like black hole's Hawking temperature, entropy at the black hole's event horizon. Further we derive the heat capacity and examine it to study the thermal stability of the black holes. We also calculate the rate of emission assuming the black holes radiate energy in terms of photons by tunneling. We represent all the parameters including the rate of emission of the black holes graphically and interpret them physically. We depict a comparative study of thermodynamics between the afroesaid types of black holes. Here we find the existence of a transition of phase. Finally, we obtain the quantum-corrected thermodynamics on the basis of general uncertainty principle and it is seen from the quantum-corrected entropy that it contains the logarithmic term. We offer comparative studies on joint effect of generalised uncertainty principle parameter $α$ along with the concerned black holes' parameters on the thermodynamics.

Interacting Models of Generalised Chaplygin Gas and Modified Chaplygin Gas with Barotropic Fluid

In this letter we consider two different models of our present universe. We choose the models which are consisting different sets of two seperate fluids. The first one of each set tries to justify the late time acceleration and the second one is barotropic fluid. The former model considers our present time universe to be homogeneously filled up by Generalized Chaplygin Gas which is interacting with barotropic fluid. On the other hand, the latter model considers that the cosmic acceleration is generated by Modified Chaplygin Gas which is interacting with matter depicted by barotropic equation of state. For both the models, we consider the interaction term to vary proportionally with Hubble's parameter as well as with the exotic matter/dark energy's energy density. We find an explicit function form of the energy density of the cosmos which is found to depend on different cosmological parameters like scale factor, dark energy and barotropic fluid's EoS parameters and other constants like interacting constants etc. We draw curves of effective EoS-s, different cosmological parameters like deceleration parameter $q$, statefinder parameters $r$ and $s$ with repect to the redshift $z$ (for different values of dark energy and barotopic fluid parameters) and study them thoroughly. We compare two models as well as the nature of dependencies on these models' interaction coefficients. We point out the particular redshift for which the universe may transit from a deceleration to acceleration phase. We tally all these values with different observational data. Here we also analyse how this value of particular redshift does change for different values of interaction coefficients and different dark energy models.

Thermodynamic Variables of First-Order Entropy Corrected Lovelock-AdS Black Holes : P-V Criticality Analysis

We investigate the effect of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of a Lovelock-AdS black hole. Taking the first order logarithmic correction term in entropy we analyze the thermodynamic potentials like Helmholtz free energy, enthalpy and Gibbs free energy. We find that all the thermodynamic potentials are decreasing functions of correction coefficient $α$. We also examined this correction coefficient tmust be positive by analysing $P-V$ diagram. Further we study the P-V criticality and stability and find that presence of logarithmic correction in it is necessary to have critical points and stable phases. When P-V criticality appears, we calculate the critical volume $V_c$, critical pressure $P_c$ and critical temperature $T_c$ using different equations and show that there is no critical point for this black hole without thermal fluctuations. We also study the geometrothermodynamics of this kind of black holes. The Ricci scalar of the Ruppeiner metric is graphically analysed.

Properties of Particle Trajectory Around a Weakly Magnetized Black Hole

In this paper, we consider charged accelerating AdS black holes with nonlinear electromagnetic source. The metric chosen by us is of a regular black hole which shows regular nature at poles and a conical effect which corresponds to a cosmic string. In such a space time construction of the Lagrangian for a charged particle is done. Cyclic coordinates as well as the corresponding symmetry generators, i.e., the Killing vectors are found. Conservation laws corresponding to the symmetries are counted. Euler Lagrange equations are found. The orbit is mainly taken to be a circular one and effective potential is found. The minimum velocity obtained by a particle to escape from innermost stable circular orbit is found. The values of this escape velocity is plotted with respect to the radius of the event horizon of the central black hole for different parametric values. The nature of the escape velocity is studied when the central object is working with gravitational force and charge simultaneously. Effective potential and effective force are also plotted. The range of radius of event horizon for which the effective force turns to be positive is found out. A pathway of future studies of accretion disc around such black holes is made.

Thermodynamic Studies of Different Black Holes with Modifications of Entropy

In recent years, the thermodynamic properties of black holes are topics of interests. We investigate the thermodynamic properties like surface gravity and Hawking temperature on event horizon of regular black holes viz. {\it Hayward Class} and {\it asymptotically AdS (Anti-de Sitter)} black holes. We also analyze the {\it thermodynamic volume} and {\it naive geometric volume} of asymptotically AdS black holes and show that the entropy of these black holes is simply the ratio of the naive geometric volume to thermodynamic volume. We plot the different graphs and interpret them physically. We derive the {\it `cosmic-Censorship-Inequality'} for both type of black holes. Moreover, we calculate {\it the thermal heat capacity} of aforesaid black holes and study their stability in different regimes. Finally, we compute the logarithmic correction to the entropy for both the black holes considering the quantum fluctuations around the thermal equilibrium and study the corresponding thermodynamics.

Entropy for the Interior of a Schwarzschild Black Hole Assuming the Mass is Increasing With Time

Black hole thermodynamics is the area of study that seeks to reconcile the laws of thermodynamics with the existence of black hole event horizons. Here we calculate the entropy corresponding to the interior of a Schwarzschild black hole for massless modes, assuming the mass of the black hole increasing with time. We find that the entropy is proportional to the Bekenstein-Hawking expression. Also, we can see that the evaluated entropy satisfies the second law of thermodynamics. Using the thermodynamic law we get a relation between temperature and inverse temperature. The special relativistic corrections to thermodynamic quantities are considered. The change in thermodynamic properties are analyzed when the velocity of the considered system is comparable to the speed of light. The effect of presence of scalar charge is incorporated.

Volumetric Maxima to be Attained by a Nonstatic Black Hole

Christodoulou and Rovelli have calculated maximal interior volume of a Schwarzschild black hole which linearly grows with time. Recently, the entropy of interior volume in a Schwarzschild black hole has also been calculated. In this article, the Eddington-Finkelstein metric is slightly modified. This modified metric satisfies Einstein's equations. The interior volume of a black hole is also calculated with the modified metric. The volume explicitly depends on a function of time, different from the Christodoulou and Rovelli volume. Also entropy is calculated corresponding to the volume which is proportional to the square of a function of time and thermodynamics is studied.

Scale Factor - Cosmic Time Relation and Occurrences of Future Cosmic Singularities with Different Redshift Parametrizations of Dark Energy EoS-s

While modelling our late time cosmically accelerated universe, it is popular to involve different dark energy models, the equation of state of which can be taken as a function of the redshift and some unknown parameters. Barboza and Alcaniz have proposed one of a such kind of dark energy's EoS model. We use some new parametrizations like Feng, Shen, Li, Li I and II and Polynomial parametrizations to get more accurate concepts about the fate of our expanding universe. We try to find how the hypothesis of the fate of our universe behaves in the above background of dark energy models. Possibilities of occurrences of future cosmic singularities are studied.

Evolution of Universe as a Homogeneous System : Changes of Scale Factors with Different Dark Energy EoS-s

We analyse the universe homogeneously filled up by different dark energies. We calculate the relations between time and the scale factor. We thoroughly check the differences to be obtained with the changes of different parameters. $t$ vs $a(t)$ curves are studied. Physical differences between several dark energy models are studied. We conclude about the future singularities to be occurred.

Dark Energy Accretion onto Van der Waal's Black Hole

We consider the most general static spherically symmetric black hole metric. The accretion of the fluid flow around the Van der Waal's black hole is investigated and we calculate the fluid's four-velocity, the critical point and the speed of sound during the accretion process. We also analyze the nature of the universe's density and the mass of the black hole during accretion of the fluid flow. The density of the fluid flow is also taken into account. We observe that the mass is related to redshift. We compare the accreting power of the Van der Waal's black hole with Schwarzschild black hole for different accreting fluid.

Fate of an Accretion Disc around a Black Hole when both the Viscosity and Dark Energy is Effecting

This paper deals with the viscous accretion flow of modified Chaplygin gas towards a black hole as the central gravitating object. Modified Chaplygin gas is a particular type of dark energy model which mimics of radiation era to phantom era depending on the different values of its parameters. We compare the drak energy accretion with the flow of adiabatic gas. An accretion disc flow around a black hole is an example of a transonic flow. To make the model, we consider three components of Navier Stokes' equation, the equation of continuity and the modified Chaplygin gas's equation of state. As a transonic flow passes through the sonic point, the velocity gradient being apparently singular there, gives rise to two flow branches : one infalling, the accretion and the other outgoing, the wind. We show that the wind curve is stronger and wind speed reaches to that of light at a finite distance from the black hole when dark energy is considered. Besides, if we increase the viscosity, accretion disc is being shortened. This two process acting together deviates much from adiabatic accretion case. It shows a weakening process for the accretion procedure by the works of viscous system influenced angular momentum transport and the repulsive force of the modified Chaplygin gas together.

Thermodynamics of black holes in rainbow gravity

In this paper, we investigate the thermodynamic properties of black holes under the influence of rainbow gravity. In the metric of Schwarzschild, Reissner-Nordstrom and Reissner-Nordstrom-de-Sitter black hole surrounded by quintessence, we consider a rainbow function and derive the existence of remnant and critical masses of a black hole. Using the Hawking temperature relation we derive the heat capacity and the entropy of the rainbow gravity inspired black holes and closely study the relation between entropy and area of the horizon for different values of n of the rainbow function.

Thermodynamic Products for Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Black Hole with α-Corrected Entropy Term

In the present work, we consider a charged black hole in five dimensional Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity where the α corrected entropy term is considered. We examine the horizon radii product, entropy product, Hawking temperature product and free energy product for both event horizon and Cauchy horizon. Our motive is to check whether the same quantity for event horizon and Cauchy horizon is free of mass, i.e., global or not. We further study the stability of such black hole by computing the specific heat and free energy for both the horizons. All these calculation might be helpful to understand the microscopic nature of such black holes.

Quantum Corrected Schwarzschild Black Hole: Inner Horizon Thermodynamic Behaviors

The thermodynamic properties of Cauchy horizon is a matter of interest. Event horizon and Cauchy horizon together can enlighten us about the micro-states of a black hole. In addition, if we consider a black hole metric modified with quantum terms, which is not forcing the geodesics to focus at a singularity, the study of horizons becomes much more interesting. The spacelike behavior inside the Cauchy horizon has a deep impact on the related thermodynamics. We analyze different thermodynamic product to check whether a right left string theory mode's addition type representation for the concerned thermodynamic parameters is possible or not. Stability of Cauchy horizon is studied.

Black Hole Thermodynamic Products in Einstein Gauss Bonnet Gravity

We study the thermodynamic properties of black hole horizons in Einstein Gauss Bonnet gravity. We derive the thermodynamic products of characteristic parameters to mark which are global. We further interpret the stability of the black holes by computing the specific heat for both horizons. Stable and unstable phases of horizons are pointed out. The phase transitions with respect to the charge in nature of specific heat are also observed. All these calculation might be helpful to understand the microscopic nature of such black holes.

In this paper we have discussed geodesics and the motion of test particle in the gravitational field of noncommutative charged black hole spacetime. The motion of massive and massless particle have been discussed seperately. A comparative study of noncommutative charged black hole and usual Reissner-Nordstrom black hole has been done. The study of effective potential has also been included. Finally, we have examined the scattering of scalar waves in noncommutative charged black hole spacetime.
