Obstructions to smoothing orbicurves and Orbifold Hecke algebras

In this paper, we study obstructions to smoothing nodal orbicurves with orbighosts mapped into cyclic quotient singularities. As an application, we show, under some assumptions, that the orbifold Hecke algebra of a complex global quotient orbifold $[X/G]$ is isomorphic to the degree $0$ cohomology of the $A_\infty$-algebra of endomorphisms of a regular cotangent fiber $T_{[x]}^*[X/G]$ regarded as an object of the bulk-deformed wrapped Fukaya category of the orbifold $T^*[X/G]$ for a compact complex manifold $X$ and finite group $G \subset \operatorname{Aut}(X)$.

Morse theory of loop spaces and Hecke algebras

Given a smooth closed $n$-manifold $M$ and a $\kappa$-tuple of basepoints $\boldsymbol{q}\subset M$, we define a Morse-type $A_\infty$-algebra $CM_{-*}(\Omega(M,\boldsymbol{q}))$, called the based multiloop $A_\infty$-algebra, as a graded generalization of the braid skein algebra due to Morton and Samuelson. For example, when $M=T^2$ the braid skein algebra is the Type A double affine Hecke algebra (DAHA). The $A_\infty$-operations couple Morse gradient trees on a based loop space with Chas-Sullivan type string operations. We show that, after a certain "base change", $CM_{-*}(\Omega(M,\boldsymbol{q}))$ is $A_\infty$-equivalent to the wrapped higher-dimensional Heegaard Floer $A_\infty$-algebra of $\kappa$ disjoint cotangent fibers which was studied in the work of Honda, Colin, and Tian. We also compute the based multiloop $A_\infty$-algebra for $M=S^2$, which we can regard as a derived Hecke algebra of the $2$-sphere.

Heegaard Floer Symplectic homology and Viterbo's isomorphism theorem in the context of multiple particles

Given a Liouville manifold $M$, we introduce an invariant of $M$ that we call the Heegaard Floer symplectic cohomology $SH^*_\kappa(M)$ for any $\kappa \ge 1$ that coincides with the symplectic cohomology for $\kappa=1$. Writing $\hat{M}$ for the completion of $M$, the differential counts pseudoholomorphic curves of arbitrary genus in $\mathbb{R} \times S^1 \times \hat{M}$ that are required to be branched $\kappa$-sheeted covers when projected to the $\mathbb{R} \times S^1$-direction; this resembles the cylindrical reformulation of Heegaard Floer homology by Lipshitz. These cohomology groups provide a closed-string analogue of higher-dimensional Heegaard Floer homology introduced by Colin, Honda, and Tian. When $\hat{M}=T^*Q$ with $Q$ an orientable manifold, we introduce a Morse-theoretic analogue of Heegaard Floer symplectic cohomology, which we call the free multiloop complex of $Q$. When $Q$ has vanishing relative second Stiefel-Whitney class, we prove a generalized version of Viterbo's isomorphism theorem by showing that the cohomology groups $SH^*_\kappa(T^*Q)$ are isomorphic to the cohomology groups of the free multiloop complex of $Q$.

Dolbeault cohomology of complex manifolds with torus action

We describe the basic Dolbealut cohomology algebra of the canonical foliation on a class of complex manifolds with a torus symmetry group. This class includes complex moment-angle manifolds, LVM- and LVMB-manifolds and, in most generality, complex manifolds with a maximal holomorphic torus action. We also provide a dga model for the ordinary Dolbeault cohomology algebra. The Hodge decomposition for the basic Dolbeault cohomology is proved by reducing to the transversely Kaehler (equivalently, polytopal) case using a foliated analogue of toric blow-up.

Basic cohomology of canonical holomorphic foliations on complex moment-angle manifolds

We describe the basic cohomology ring of the canonical holomorphic foliation on a moment-angle manifold, LVMB-manifold or any complex manifold with a maximal holomorphic torus action. Namely, we show that the basic cohomology has a description similar to the cohomology ring of a complete simplicial toric variety due to Danilov and Jurkiewicz. This settles a question of Battaglia and Zaffran, who previously computed the basic Betti numbers for the canonical holomorphic foliation in the case of a shellable fan. Our proof uses an Eilenberg-Moore spectral sequence argument; the key ingredient is the formality of the Cartan model for the torus action on a moment-angle manifold. We develop the concept of transverse equivalence as an important tool for studying smooth and holomorphic foliated manifolds. For an arbitrary complex manifold with a maximal torus action, we show that it is transverse equivalent to a moment-angle manifold and therefore has the same basic cohomology.

The tie theorems

Theorem. There are general position points A, B, C, P on the projective plane. Let A_P be the intersection point of lines AP and BC. Analogously define B_P and C_P. Take any points A_1, B_1, C_1 on AP, BP, CP, respectively. Let W_C be the intersection point of A_1B_P and B_1A_P. Analogously define points W_A and W_B. Then lines CW_C, AW_A and BW_B pass through one point. We also generalize this theorem and find interesting related properties.
