PURE: Refining Feed-forward 3D Reconstruction with Unlabeled Post-training

Feed-forward 3D reconstruction models have achieved remarkable progress through large-scale training and strong learned priors. However, they remain fragile when applied to dynamic in-the-wild videos, where non-rigid motion, occlusions, and illumination changes are prevalent. A key limitation lies in their reliance on expensive depth and camera pose annotations, which hinders scaling to diverse real-world dynamic data and restricts generalization. To address this issue, we propose \textbf{PURE}, an unlabeled post-training refinement framework that improves depth and camera estimation without requiring ground-truth supervision. Instead of relying on annotations, PURE elegantly distills robust structural knowledge from state-of-the-art 2D priors into 4D feed-forward architectures. PURE leverages relative depth constraints, affine-invariant geometry distillation, and pose refinement based on feature correspondences to stabilize geometric predictions under challenging dynamic conditions. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world dynamic benchmarks demonstrate that PURE delivers consistent improvements across multiple state-of-the-art architectures. Furthermore, our data-efficient paradigm effectively mitigates domain shifts, successfully unlocking the architectural limits of these base models in challenging, in-the-wild dynamic scenes.

MEGA: Object-Level Mesh Extraction from 3D Gaussian Splatting via Spatial Visual Distillation

Mesh extraction from 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) aims to endow 3D Gaussians with accurate geometric structures, enabling explicit and precise 3D occupancy. However, existing methods primarily focus on scene-level mesh extraction, making them unable to represent object-level occupancy and often resulting in non-watertight surfaces. To overcome these limitations, we propose \textbf{MEGA} (\underline{M}esh \underline{E}xtraction from \underline{GA}ussians), a ``segment-then-mesh'' framework for extracting object-level, watertight meshes from complex 3DGS scenes. At the core of MEGA are \textbf{Spatial Visual Distillation (SVD)} and a mask-guided neural surface reconstruction module. SVD treats the 3DGS model as a teacher, sampling diverse camera poses and rendering the corresponding views of each segmented object. These observations are then used to train a mesh reconstruction model through photometric supervision. Extensive experiments on several widely used benchmarks demonstrate that MEGA achieves state-of-the-art performance in recovering accurate object-level 3D occupancy. Moreover, MEGA enables complex physical interactions by combining high-quality object-level meshes for geometric occupancy with 3DGS representations for photorealistic rendering.

CoViST: Visual Token Compression via Composable States

Visual token compression lowers the inference cost of vision--language models by representing images with fewer tokens. However, most existing methods compress visual tokens to a reduced set, leaving the amount of visual evidence represented by each token and its original spatial context implicit. Therefore, the compressed representation does not explicitly encode how much visual information each representative carries or where it lies in the original image. This limitation arises even after a single reduction and becomes more pronounced when compression is repeated across decoder layers. To address this issue, we propose CoViST, a training-free framework that represents a compressed image as a composable visual state. Specifically, the state combines representative features with original positions, effective contribution weights, and reusable selection metadata. CoViST constructs this state through coverage-guided selection and conservation-based contribution composition, and explicitly incorporates its contribution and positional information into decoder attention. Each component of the state retains its interpretation under successive reductions, enabling the same formulation to support both fixed compression before prefill and progressive compression within the decoder. Experimental results on seven LLaVA-1.5-7B benchmarks show that CoViST-Fixed retains 99.9\%, 99.5\%, and 98.1\% of uncompressed performance at 192, 128, and 64 tokens, respectively, and CoViST-Pro retains 99.8\%, 99.9\%, and 99.1\% at the corresponding layer-average budgets, outperforming state-of-the-art methods under their respective budget settings. Code will be released publicly.

DualDiff3D: Dual Structure-Appearance Diffusion Priors for Reliability-Enhanced 3D Gaussian Splatting

While 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has revolutionized 3D reconstruction and novel-view synthesis, scenarios with limited input views often lead to poor reconstruction quality and artifacts in rendered novel views. Recent efforts attempt to utilize powerful diffusion priors, yet they typically process rendered and reference views concatenated along an additional dimension in a single network. These methods overlook an inherent nature that different views should maintain appearance similarity but differ in structure due to view shifts, leading to blur caused by conflicts between the two properties. In this paper, we propose DualDiff, a novel pipeline that leverages dual diffusion priors with a Structure-Appearance Attention (SAA) module to introduce reference guidance for refining low-quality novel views rendered from flawed 3D representations. Specifically, we retain one diffusion branch to focus on extracting structural information from the low-quality novel views, while introducing another branch to ensure appearance consistency with reference views. Furthermore, we present a 3D reconstruction framework named DualDiff3D, which integrates a reliability-enhanced Render-Refine-Optimize (RRO) loop to progressively and robustly incorporate the refined novel views, yielding more accurate 3DGS. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art methods even in the inference-only setting, with further performance gains achievable through training. ATGS: Anchored Temporal Gaussian Splatting for Long Volumetric Video Representation

Volumetric video enables immersive free viewpoint rendering of dynamic real world scenes, yet existing methods struggle with long sequences and complex motions, often leading to temporal instability and visual artifacts. To address these challenges, we propose \ourname, a Gaussian splatting based framework for volumetric video reconstruction. Our key insight is that explicitly tracking long term complex motion with individual Gaussian primitives is inherently unstable. Instead, we organize Gaussians around time conditioned anchors that localize their spatial and temporal support, thereby reducing long range motion complexity. We further introduce a temporal windowing strategy to activate only anchors relevant to the queried time, which improves scalability and temporal coherence. In addition, to ensure spatial and temporal stability, we design a compact set of multi level anchor features that encode global features, local spatial features, and local temporal features, jointly constraining Gaussian generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that \ourname \ consistently outperforms prior methods on long sequence volumetric videos with complex motions. Project page: https://github.com/WuJH2001/ATGS.

Know3D: Prompting 3D Generation with Knowledge from Vision-Language Models

Recent advances in 3D generation have improved the fidelity and geometric details of synthesized 3D assets. However, due to the inherent ambiguity of single-view observations and the lack of robust global structural priors caused by limited 3D training data, the unseen regions generated by existing models are often stochastic and difficult to control, which may sometimes fail to align with user intentions or produce implausible geometries. In this paper, we propose Know3D, a novel framework that incorporates rich knowledge from multimodal large language models into 3D generative processes via latent hidden-state injection, enabling language-controllable generation of the back-view for 3D assets. We utilize a VLM-diffusion-based model, where the VLM is responsible for semantic understanding and guidance. The diffusion model acts as a bridge that transfers semantic knowledge from the VLM to the 3D generation model. In this way, we successfully bridge the gap between abstract textual instructions and the geometric reconstruction of unobserved regions, transforming the traditionally stochastic back-view hallucination into a semantically controllable process, demonstrating a promising direction for future 3D generation models.

Online Segment 3D Gaussians via Launching Virtual Drones

Interactive segmentation of 3D Gaussians offers a compelling opportunity for real-time manipulation of 3D scenes, thanks to the real-time rendering capability of 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). However, existing methods require a time-consuming per-scene setup - typically tens of seconds or even minutes - before interactive segmentation can begin on a raw 3DGS scene. This setup involves multi-view mask preparation, mask lifting, and feature distillation, creating a major bottleneck for online applications. To address this limitation, we aim to completely eliminate the setup stage for interactive 3DGS segmentation while keeping the segmentation time practical (under 1 second). In this work, we present SAGO (Segment Any Gaussians Online), a novel setup-free framework for interactive 3DGS segmentation. By introducing virtual drones, our method reframes the 3D segmentation problem as an online Next-Best-View (NBV) planning task formulated within a Markov process. Extensive experiments demonstrate that SAGO can extract clean 3D assets directly from 3D Gaussians with sub-second latency, thereby enabling a broad range of downstream applications such as object manipulation and scene editing. Moreover, our method achieves over a 50x speedup compared to the previous setup-free 3DGS segmentation frameworks.

TextWand: A Unified Framework for Scene Text Editing

We propose TextWand, a general-purpose framework that unifies scene text removal, generation, and replacement into a single model. By decomposing complex editing tasks into the atomic primitives of rendering and erasure, TextWand achieves precise control over both text appearance and background integrity. Specifically, we introduce a novel design, Overlay-Reference Positional Encoding (ORPE), to enforce pixel-level layout fidelity and exemplar-driven style control, alongside a new strategy, Region-Adaptive Suppression (RAS), to ensure clean text erasure. To address the absence of a comprehensive benchmark for general-purpose scene text editing among existing single-task datasets, we construct TextWand-Bench. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TextWand outperforms existing leading open-source and closed-source models by delivering superior text content accuracy, layout and style consistency, and overall image quality across scene text removal, generation and replacement tasks.

OctoT2I: A Self-Evolving Agentic Text-to-Image Router

The explosive growth of Text-to-Image (T2I) models, from large-scale versions to lightweight, real-time ones, now faces diminishing marginal returns from single-model scaling. Agentic T2I methods emerged to alleviate this bottleneck by using multiple models. However, existing agentic T2I methods suffer from three key challenges: reliance on expensive handcrafted priors or human annotations, rigid single-path decision mechanisms, and a neglect of inference efficiency. To address these challenges, we introduce OctoT2I, a novel agentic framework that reformulates the T2I task as a joint optimization of generation quality and inference efficiency. OctoT2I implements a stateful, multi-round routing strategy that adaptively selects the most suitable tool based on its knowledge and memory. This strategy is enabled by a knowledge base built from scratch by our novel Self-Evolving Mechanism. This mechanism, which requires no human supervision, first autonomously defines foundational Conceptual Dimensions (eg, style, color, count) and then intelligently explores their combinations via an iterative" Propose--Solve--Evaluate--Learn"(PSEL) loop. The PSEL loop efficiently discovers each tool's capability frontier, driving continuous improvement without external guidance. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OctoT2I achieves competitive performance (0.96) on GenEval while delivering a 90.3% inference speedup and a 56.6% energy-efficiency gain over the leading baseline (Flow-GRPO), striking an exceptional balance between performance and efficiency. Code and models will be made available.

ClipGStream: Clip-Stream Gaussian Splatting for Any Length and Any Motion Multi-View Dynamic Scene Reconstruction

Dynamic 3D scene reconstruction is essential for immersive media such as VR, MR, and XR, yet remains challenging for long multi-view sequences with large-scale motion. Existing dynamic Gaussian approaches are either Frame-Stream, offering scalability but poor temporal stability, or Clip, achieving local consistency at the cost of high memory and limited sequence length. We propose ClipGStream, a hybrid reconstruction framework that performs stream optimization at the clip level rather than the frame level. The sequence is divided into short clips, where dynamic motion is modeled using clip-independent spatio-temporal fields and residual anchor compensation to capture local variations efficiently, while inter-clip inherited anchors and decoders maintain structural consistency across clips. This Clip-Stream design enables scalable, flicker-free reconstruction of long dynamic videos with high temporal coherence and reduced memory overhead. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ClipGStream achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction quality and efficiency. The project page is available at: https://liangjie1999.github.io/ClipGStreamWeb/

Multimodal-Prior-Guided Importance Sampling for Hierarchical Gaussian Splatting in Sparse-View Novel View Synthesis

We present multimodal-prior-guided importance sampling as the central mechanism for hierarchical 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) in sparse-view novel view synthesis. Our sampler fuses complementary cues { -- } photometric rendering residuals, semantic priors, and geometric priors { -- } to produce a robust, local recoverability estimate that directly drives where to inject fine Gaussians. Built around this sampling core, our framework comprises (1) a coarse-to-fine Gaussian representation that encodes global shape with a stable coarse layer and selectively adds fine primitives where the multimodal metric indicates recoverable detail; and (2) a geometric-aware sampling and retention policy that concentrates refinement on geometrically critical and complex regions while protecting newly added primitives in underconstrained areas from premature pruning. By prioritizing regions supported by consistent multimodal evidence rather than raw residuals alone, our method alleviates overfitting texture-induced errors and suppresses noise from pose/appearance inconsistencies. Experiments on diverse sparse-view benchmarks demonstrate state-of-the-art reconstructions, with up to +0.3 dB PSNR on DTU.

Intrinsic Geometry-Appearance Consistency Optimization for Sparse-View Gaussian Splatting

3D human reconstruction from a single image is a challenging problem and has been exclusively studied in the literature. Recently, some methods have resorted to diffusion models for guidance, optimizing a 3D representation via Score Distillation Sampling(SDS) or generating a back-view image for facilitating reconstruction. However, these methods tend to produce unsatisfactory artifacts (\textit{e.g.} flattened human structure or over-smoothing results caused by inconsistent priors from multiple views) and struggle with real-world generalization in the wild. In this work, we present \emph{MVD-HuGaS}, enabling free-view 3D human rendering from a single image via a multi-view human diffusion model. We first generate multi-view images from the single reference image with an enhanced multi-view diffusion model, which is well fine-tuned on high-quality 3D human datasets to incorporate 3D geometry priors and human structure priors. To infer accurate camera poses from the sparse generated multi-view images for reconstruction, an alignment module is introduced to facilitate joint optimization of 3D Gaussians and camera poses. Furthermore, we propose a depth-based Facial Distortion Mitigation module to refine the generated facial regions, thereby improving the overall fidelity of the reconstruction. Finally, leveraging the refined multi-view images, along with their accurate camera poses, MVD-HuGaS optimizes the 3D Gaussians of the target human for high-fidelity free-view renderings. Extensive experiments on Thuman2.0 and 2K2K datasets show that the proposed MVD-HuGaS achieves state-of-the-art performance on single-view 3D human rendering.

MLICv2: Enhanced Multi-Reference Entropy Modeling for Learned Image Compression

Recent advances in learned image compression (LIC) have achieved remarkable performance improvements over traditional codecs. Notably, the MLIC series-LICs equipped with multi-reference entropy models-have substantially surpassed conventional image codecs such as Versatile Video Coding (VVC) Intra. However, existing MLIC variants suffer from several limitations: performance degradation at high bitrates due to insufficient transform capacity, suboptimal entropy modeling that fails to capture global correlations in initial slices, and lack of adaptive channel importance modeling. In this paper, we propose MLICv2 and MLICv2+, enhanced successors that systematically address these limitations through improved transform design, dvanced entropy modeling, and exploration of the potential of instance-specific optimization. For transform enhancement, we introduce a lightweight token mixing block inspired by the MetaFormer architecture, which effectively mitigates high-bitrate performance degradation while maintaining computational efficiency. For entropy modeling improvements, we propose hyperprior-guided global correlation prediction to extract global context even in the initial slice of latent representation, complemented by a channel reweighting module that dynamically emphasizes informative channels. We further explore enhanced positional embedding and guided selective compression strategies for superior context modeling. Additionally, we apply the Stochastic Gumbel Annealing (SGA) to demonstrate the potential for further performance improvements through input-specific optimization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MLICv2 and MLICv2+ achieve state-of-the-art results, reducing Bjøntegaard-Delta Rate by 16.54%, 21.61%, 16.05% and 20.46%, 24.35%, 19.14% on Kodak, Tecnick, and CLIC Pro Val datasets, respectively, compared to VTM-17.0 Intra.

Trajectory-aware Shifted State Space Models for Online Video Super-Resolution

Online video super-resolution (VSR) is an important technique for many real-world video processing applications, which aims to restore the current high-resolution video frame based on temporally previous frames. Most of the existing online VSR methods solely employ one neighboring previous frame to achieve temporal alignment, which limits long-range temporal modeling of videos. Recently, state space models (SSMs) have been proposed with linear computational complexity and a global receptive field, which significantly improve computational efficiency and performance. In this context, this paper presents a novel online VSR method based on Trajectory-aware Shifted SSMs (TS-Mamba), leveraging both long-term trajectory modeling and low-complexity Mamba to achieve efficient spatio-temporal information aggregation. Specifically, TS-Mamba first constructs the trajectories within a video to select the most similar tokens from the previous frames. Then, a Trajectory-aware Shifted Mamba Aggregation (TSMA) module consisting of proposed shifted SSMs blocks is employed to aggregate the selected tokens. The shifted SSMs blocks are designed based on Hilbert scannings and corresponding shift operations to compensate for scanning losses and strengthen the spatial continuity of Mamba. Additionally, we propose a trajectory-aware loss function to supervise the trajectory generation, ensuring the accuracy of token selection when training our model. Extensive experiments on three widely used VSR test datasets demonstrate that compared with six online VSR benchmark models, our TS-Mamba achieves state-of-the-art performance in most cases and over 22.7% complexity reduction (in MACs).

GaussianTrimmer: Online Trimming Boundaries for 3DGS Segmentation

With the widespread application of 3D Gaussians in 3D scene representation, 3D scene segmentation methods based on 3D Gaussians have also gradually emerged. However, existing 3D Gaussian segmentation methods basically segment on the basis of Gaussian primitives. Due to the large variation range of the scale of 3D Gaussians, large-sized Gaussians that often span the foreground and background lead to jagged boundaries of segmented objects. To this end, we propose an online boundary trimming method, GaussianTrimmer, which is an efficient and plug-and-play post-processing method capable of trimming coarse boundaries for existing 3D Gaussian segmentation methods. Our method consists of two core steps: 1. Generating uniformly and well-covered virtual cameras; 2. Trimming Gaussian at the primitive level based on 2D segmentation results on virtual cameras. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate that our method can improve the segmentation quality of existing 3D Gaussian segmentation methods as a plug-and-play method.

FlashMesh: Faster and Better Autoregressive Mesh Synthesis via Structured Speculation

Autoregressive models can generate high-quality 3D meshes by sequentially producing vertices and faces, but their token-by-token decoding results in slow inference, limiting practical use in interactive and large-scale applications. We present FlashMesh, a fast and high-fidelity mesh generation framework that rethinks autoregressive decoding through a predict-correct-verify paradigm. The key insight is that mesh tokens exhibit strong structural and geometric correlations that enable confident multi-token speculation. FlashMesh leverages this by introducing a speculative decoding scheme tailored to the commonly used hourglass transformer architecture, enabling parallel prediction across face, point, and coordinate levels. Extensive experiments show that FlashMesh achieves up to a 2 x speedup over standard autoregressive models while also improving generation fidelity. Our results demonstrate that structural priors in mesh data can be systematically harnessed to accelerate and enhance autoregressive generation.

Motion Matters: Compact Gaussian Streaming for Free-Viewpoint Video Reconstruction

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has emerged as a high-fidelity and efficient paradigm for online free-viewpoint video (FVV) reconstruction, offering viewers rapid responsiveness and immersive experiences. However, existing online methods face challenge in prohibitive storage requirements primarily due to point-wise modeling that fails to exploit the motion properties. To address this limitation, we propose a novel Compact Gaussian Streaming (ComGS) framework, leveraging the locality and consistency of motion in dynamic scene, that models object-consistent Gaussian point motion through keypoint-driven motion representation. By transmitting only the keypoint attributes, this framework provides a more storage-efficient solution. Specifically, we first identify a sparse set of motion-sensitive keypoints localized within motion regions using a viewspace gradient difference strategy. Equipped with these keypoints, we propose an adaptive motion-driven mechanism that predicts a spatial influence field for propagating keypoint motion to neighboring Gaussian points with similar motion. Moreover, ComGS adopts an error-aware correction strategy for key frame reconstruction that selectively refines erroneous regions and mitigates error accumulation without unnecessary overhead. Overall, ComGS achieves a remarkable storage reduction of over 159 X compared to 3DGStream and 14 X compared to the SOTA method QUEEN, while maintaining competitive visual fidelity and rendering speed.

SyncHuman: Synchronizing 2D and 3D Generative Models for Single-view Human Reconstruction

Photorealistic 3D full-body human reconstruction from a single image is a critical yet challenging task for applications in films and video games due to inherent ambiguities and severe self-occlusions. While recent approaches leverage SMPL estimation and SMPL-conditioned image generative models to hallucinate novel views, they suffer from inaccurate 3D priors estimated from SMPL meshes and have difficulty in handling difficult human poses and reconstructing fine details. In this paper, we propose SyncHuman, a novel framework that combines 2D multiview generative model and 3D native generative model for the first time, enabling high-quality clothed human mesh reconstruction from single-view images even under challenging human poses. Multiview generative model excels at capturing fine 2D details but struggles with structural consistency, whereas 3D native generative model generates coarse yet structurally consistent 3D shapes. By integrating the complementary strengths of these two approaches, we develop a more effective generation framework. Specifically, we first jointly fine-tune the multiview generative model and the 3D native generative model with proposed pixel-aligned 2D-3D synchronization attention to produce geometrically aligned 3D shapes and 2D multiview images. To further improve details, we introduce a feature injection mechanism that lifts fine details from 2D multiview images onto the aligned 3D shapes, enabling accurate and high-fidelity reconstruction. Extensive experiments demonstrate that SyncHuman achieves robust and photo-realistic 3D human reconstruction, even for images with challenging poses. Our method outperforms baseline methods in geometric accuracy and visual fidelity, demonstrating a promising direction for future 3D generation models.
