One particle quantum equation in a de Sitter spacetime

We consider a free particle in a de Sitter spacetime. We use a picture in which the analogs of the Schrödinger operators of the particle are independent of both the time and the space coordinates. These operators induce operators which are related to Killing vectors of the de Sitter spacetime.

Model of a relativistic oscillator in a generalized Schrödinger picture

In a generalized Schrödinger picture, we consider the motion of a relativistic particle in an external field (like in the case of a harmonic oscillator). In this picture the analogs of the Schrödinger operators of the particle are independent of both the time and the space coordinates. These operators induce operators which are related to Killing vectors of the Anti de Sitter (AdS) space. We also consider the nonrelativistic limit.

Matter waves in terms of the unitary representations of the Lorentz group

In a generalized Heisenberg/Schroedinger picture, the unitary representations of the Lorentz group may, for a massive relativistic particle, be used to attribute to waves an extra wavelength that is longer than the de Broglie wavelength. Propagators are defined as spacetime transitions between states with different eigenvalues of the first or the second Casimir operator of the Lorentz algebra.

A relativistic superalgebra in a generalized Schroedinger picture

We consider a relativistic superalgebra in the picture in which the time and spatial derivative cannot be presented in the operators of the particle. The supersymmetry generators as well as the Hamilton operators for the massive relativistic particles with spin zero and spin-1/2 are expressed in terms of the principal series of the unitary representations of the Lorentz group. We also consider the massless case. New Hamilton operators are conctructed for the massless particles with spin zero and spin 1/2.

Propagator for a spin 1/2 particle in terms of the unitary representations of the Lorentz group

In this paper we extend our previous result on the description of the partcle motion in a generalized Heisenberg picture to a relativistic fermion. The operators of the Lorentz algebra in this picture may be regarded as field operators. In this approach the transition amplitudes for the particle are constructed in terms of two-component functions in the unitary representations of the Lorentz group.

Propagation of a relativistic particle in terms of the unitary irreducible representations of the Lorentz group

In a generalized Heisenberg/Schroedinger picture we use an invariant space-time transformation to describe the motion of a relativistic particle. We discuss the relation with the relativistic mechanics and find that the propagation of the particle may be defined as space-time transition between states with equal eigenvalues of the first and second Casimir operators of the Lorentz algebra. In addition we use a vector on the light-cone. A massive relativistic particle with spin 0 is considered. We also consider the nonrelativistic limit.

A new Hamiltonian for a massive relativistic particle with spin one in a generalized Heisenberg/Schrödinger picture

We consider a particular 4-dimensional generalization of the transition from the Heisenberg to the Schrödinger picture. The space-time independent expansion with respect to the unitary irreducible representations of the Lorentz group is applied, as Fourier transformation in the Heisenberg picture, to the states of a massive relativistic particle. A new Hamiltonian operator has been found for such a particle with spin one.
