Spinor equation for the $W^{\pm}$ boson

I introduce spinor equations for the $W^{\pm}$ fields. The properties of these spinor equations under space-time transformation and under charge conjugation are studied. The expressions for electric charge and current and densities of the $W^{\pm}$ fields are obtained. Covariant quantization conditions are established, and the vacuum energy for the $W^{\pm}$ fields is found to be zero.

The spinor field theory of the photon

I introduce a spinor field theory for the photon. The three-dimensional vector electromagnetic field and the four-dimensional vector potential are components of this spinor photon field. A spinor equation for the photon field is derived from Maxwell's equations, the relations between the electromagnetic field and the four-dimensional vector potential, and the Lorentz gauge condition. The covariant quantization of free photon field is done, and only transverse photons are obtained. The vacuum energy divergence does not occur in this theory. A covariant "positive frequency" condition is introduced for separating the photon field from its complex conjugate in the presence of the electric current and charge.

Theory for quantum state of photon pairs generated from spontaneous parametric down conversion nonlinear process

We present a theory for the quantum state of photon pairs generated from spontaneous parametric down conversion nonlinear process in which the influence of the final sizes of nonlinear optical crystals on eigen optical modes is explicitly taken into consideration. We find that these photon pairs are not in entangled quantum states. Polarization correlations between the signal beam and the idler beam are explained. We also show that the two photons generated from SPDC are not spatially separated, therefore the polarization correlation between the signal and idler beams is not an evidence for quantum non-locality.

Superluminal telecommunication: an observable contradiction between quantum entanglement and relativistic causality

I present a schema for a superluminal telecommunication system based on polarization entangled photon pairs. Binary signals can be transmitted at superluminal speed in this system, if entangled photon pairs can really be produced. The existence of the polarization entangled photon pairs is in direct contradiction to the relativistic causality in this telecommunication system. This contradiction implies the impossibility of generating entangled photon pairs.

Quantum State of Entangled Photon Pairs

I show that the photon pairs used in experimental tests of quantum non-locality based on Bell's theorem are not in the entangled quantum state. The correct quantum state of the ``entangled'' photon pairs is suggested. Two experiments for testing this quantum state are proposed.

Quantum Dirac field without vacuum energy divergence

A quantum Dirac field theory with no divergences of vacuum energy is presented. The vacuum energy divergence is eliminated by removing a extra degree of freedom of the Dirac fields. The conditions for removing the extra degree of freedom, expressed in the form of a conservation law and an orthogonality relation, define another spin 1/2 field with the same rest mass that is just the antifermion field. The anticommutation relations for fermion and antifermion fields are imposed by this conservation law. Both fermion and antifermion fields have only states with positive energies due to the orthogonality relation. The expressions of the charge density and the current density are obtained. The charge conservation law is established. A form for canical quantization applicable to both Boson and Dirac fields is introduced.

Varieties of Dirac equation and flavors of leptons and quarks

I show that there exist twelve independent Dirac equations for spin 1/2 fermions. The Dirac fields that satisfy these equations can be grouped into six pairs according to the way they transform under continuous space-time transformations. These six pairs of Dirac equations correspond to the three quark generations and the three lepton generations. The charged V-A currents can be formed only from fields of the same pair. This property of the Dirac fields implies that a quark or lepton may be transformed only into its partner of the same generation via the charged-current weak interaction. According to the properties of the charged-current weak interaction, I conclude that different elementary fermion fields must satisfy different Dirac equations, and there may not be more than twelve flavors of elementary fermions that are already known.
