Quantum chaos in quantum dots coupled to bosons

Chaos transition, as an important topic, has become an active research subject in non-linear science. By considering a Dicke Hamiltonian coupled to a bath of harmonic oscillator, we have been able to introduce a logistic map with quantum corrections. Some basic dynamical properties, such as Lyapunov exponents and bifurcation diagram of the model are studied. we show that in this model, the transition from integrable motion to periodic, chaotic and hyperchaotic as the control parameter $r$ is increased.

Randomness criteria in binary visibility graph perspective

By means of a binary visibility graph, we present a novel method to study random binary sequences. The behavior of the some topological properties of the binary visibility graph, such as the degree distribution, the clustering coefficient, and the mean path length have been investigated. Several examples are then provided to show that the numerical simulations confirm the accuracy of the theorems for finite random binary sequences. Finally, in this paper we propose, for the first time, three topological properties of the binary visibility graph as a randomness criteria.

Hierarchy of rational order families of chaotic maps with an invariant measure

We introduce an interesting hierarchy of rational order chaotic maps that posses an invariant measure. In contrast to the previously introduced hierarchy of chaotic maps \cite{J1,J2,J3,J4,J5}, with merely entropy production, the rational order chaotic maps can simultaneously produce and consume entropy . We compute the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy of theses maps analytically and also their Lyapunov exponent numerically, where that obtained numerical results support the analytical calculations.

Generalized qudit Choi maps

Following the linear programming prescription of Ref. \cite{PRA72}, the $d\otimes d$ Bell diagonal entanglement witnesses are provided. By using Jamiolkowski isomorphism, it is shown that the corresponding positive maps are the generalized qudit Choi maps. Also by manipulating particular $d\otimes d$ Bell diagonal separable states and constructing corresponding bound entangled states, it is shown that thus obtained $d\otimes d$ BDEW's (consequently qudit Choi maps) are non-decomposable in certain range of their parameters.

Generic N-coupled maps in Bose-Mesner algebra perspective

By choosing a dynamical system with d different couplings, one can rearrange a system based on the graph with given vertex dependent on the dynamical system elements. The relation between the dynamical elements (coupling) is replaced by a relation between the vertexes. Based on the E_0 transverse projection operator. We addressed synchronization problem of an array of the linearly coupled map lattices of identical discrete time systems. The synchronization rate is determined by the second largest eigenvalue of the transition probability matrix. Algebraic properties of the Bose-Mesner algebra with an associated scheme with definite spectrum has been used in order to study the stability of the coupled map lattice. Associated schemes play a key role and may lead to analytical methods in studying the stability of the dynamical systems. The relation between the coupling parameters and the chaotic region is presented. It is shown that the feasible region is analytically determined by the number of couplings (i.e, by increasing the number of coupled maps the feasible region is restricted). It is very easy to apply our criteria to the system being studied and they encompass a wide range of coupling schemes including most of the popularly used ones in the literature.
