Data on neutron-neutron scattering length extracted in the n+2H-->n+n+p reaction at 60 MeV

$^{1}S_{0}$ \textit{nn}-scattering length has been measured in the \textit{nd}-breakup reaction at 60 MeV. The experiment was performed in the final state interaction geometry with registration of all three secondary particles. The scattering length $a_{nn} = -16.3 \pm 0.5$~fm was obtained from a comparison of the experimental dependence of the \textit{nd}-breakup yield on the relative energy of \textit{nn}-pair with the simulation results. An analysis of this value of scattering length together with the data obtained in other experiments on \textit{nd}- and \textit{dd}-breakup confirms the hypothesis about the influence of $3N$-forces on the values of \textit{nn}-interaction parameters extracted in these reactions.

Fitting of structural parameters to small angle neutron scattering data for nickel-chromium-aluminum alloy in frames of quantum mechanics and classic models of polydispersed spheres

Modified Yukawa's potential is used to fit model parameters of nucleus to the small angle thermal neutron scattering data on the nickel-chromium-aluminum alloy at the transferred momentum $Q$ and effective nucleus radius $R$ production satisfied by condition $Q R \le \hbar$. Analytical polydisperse sphere model is used to calculate a neutron scattering intensity and to determine most probable macroscopic sphere radius $R_0$ at $Q R_0 \ge 3\hbar$. Combination of gauss, Relay and Schulze-Zimm distributions can be used to fit model parameters to experimental data. Fast algorithm and program of fitting to data is proposed.

New Evidence for Supernarrow Dibaryons Production in pd Interactions

The analysis of new experimental data, obtained at the Proton Linear Accelerator of INR, with the aim to search for supernarrow dibaryons in the $pd\to ppX_1$ and $pd\to pdX_2$ reactions is presented. Narrow peaks with an experimental width of 5 MeV at masses of 1904$\pm 2$, 1926$\pm 2$, and 1942$\pm 2$ MeV have been observed in missing mass $M_{pX_1}$ spectra. In the missing mass $M_{X_1}$ spectra, the peaks at $M_{X_1}=966\pm 2$, 986$\pm 2$, and 1003$\pm 2$ MeV have been found. The analysis of the data obtained leads to the conclusion that the observed peaks in $M_{pX_1}$ spectra are most likely supernarrow dibaryons, the decay of which into two nucleons is forbidden by the Pauli exclusion principle. An alternative interpretation of the spectra by assuming a decay of the supernarrow dibaryons in "exotic baryon states" with masses $M_{X_1}$ is discussed.

Supernarrow Dibaryons Production in pd Interactions

An analysis of experimental data, obtained at the Proton Linear Accelerator of INR, is carried out with the aim of searching for supernarrow dibaryons in the pd->p+pX_1 and pd->p+dX_2 reactions. Dibaryons with masses 1904\pm 2, 1926\pm 2, and 1942\pm 2 MeV have been observed in invariant mass M_{pX_1} spectra. In missing mass M_{X_1} spectra, the peaks at M_{X_1}=966\pm 2, 986\pm 2, and 1003\pm 2 MeV have been found. The analysis of the data obtained leads to the conclusion that the observed dibaryons are supernarrow dibaryons, the decay of which into two nucleons is forbidden by the Pauli exclusion principle. A possible interpretation of exited nucleon states with small masses is suggested.

Fishing for Narrow Dibaryons in pd->pX Reaction

An analysis of experimental data, obtained at the Linear Accelerator of INR, is carried out with the aim of searching for supernarrow dibaryons in the reactions pd->p+X and pd->p+pX_1. Dibaryons with masses 1904\pm 2, 1926\pm 2, and 1942\pm 2 MeV have been observed in M_{X} missing mass spectra. In M_{X_1} missing mass spectra, the peaks have been found at M_{X_1}=966\pm 2, 986\pm 2, and 1003\pm 2 MeV. These values of M_{X_1} coincide with the ones obtained by a simulation of a decay of the dibaryons into γ+pn. The analysis of the data obtained leads to the conclusion that the observed dibaryons are supernarrow dibaryons, the decay of which into two nucleons is forbidden by the Pauli exclusion principle. A possible interpretation of exited nucleon states with small masses is suggested.

Search for Supernarrow Dibaryons in pd Interactions

The reaction pd-->pX at 305 MeV is studied with the aim to search for supernarrow dibaryons, the decay of which into two nucleons is forbidden by the Pauli exclusion principle. The experiment was carried out at the Moscow Meson Factory using the spectrometer TAMS, which detected the scattered proton in coincidence with another charged particle (either p or d) from the decay of particle X. The detection of the second charged particle at angles close to the emission angle of particle X with mass M allows to suppress essentially the contribution of background processes and to increase the relative contribution of a possible production of the dibaryons under consideration. Narrow peaks in missing mass spectra have been observed at 1905 and 1924 MeV with the statistical significance of ~4.8 SD. The widths of both observed peaks correspond to the experimental resolution (3 MeV). Comparison of the obtained data with theoretical predictions leads to the conclusion that the peak found at 1905 MeV most likely corresponds to a supernarrow dibaryon with the isotopic spin equal to 1. The possible origin of the peak at 1924 MeV is also discussed.

Study of supernarrow dibaryon production in process pd-->pX

The reactions p+d-> p+pX and p+d-> p+dX at 305 MeV are studied with the aim to search for supernarrow dibaryons, decay of which into two nucleons is suppressed by the Pauli principle. The experiment was carried out at the Moscow Meson Factory using a spectrometer TAMS, which detected the scattered proton in coincidence with the second charged particle (the proton or deuteron) at various angles. Narrow peaks at 1905 and 1924 MeV with widths less than the experimental resolution (3 MeV) have been observed in missing- mass spectra of the process pd->pX. An analysis of the angular dependence of the experimental data shows that the resonance at $M$=1905 MeV most likely corresponds to the production of the isovector supernarrow dibaryon.
