A Particle Model of Our Spacetime: Origin of Gravity

We build a model of our spacetime by assuming new particles called "space quanta." In the ambient or bulk spacetime ${\cal S}^{D_{\rm amb}}$ ($D_{\rm amb} \ge 4$), a multitude of space quanta form a nearly three-dimensional object, whose continuum approximation is called the space 3-brane. The world volume ${\cal WV}_{\rm sq}$ of this space 3-brane is described by an embedding $f^A(x^μ) \in {\cal S}^{D_{\rm amb}}$, which produces the induced metric $γ_{μν}$ on the world volume ${\cal WV}_{\rm sq}$. This emergent spacetime (${\cal WV}_{\rm sq}, γ_{μν}$) from the many space quanta is proposed as the particle model of our spacetime. To study our spacetime (${\cal WV}_{\rm sq}, γ_{μν}$), we construct what we call the Aim-At-Target (AAT) method, which introduces an action for a 4D metric $g_{μν}$. This metric action from the AAT method can lead to General Relativity at low enough energies. The spacetime (${\cal S}_{\rm GR}, {\bf g}_{μν}$) of General Relativity is, at least, a good approximation to the exact or true spacetime (${\cal WV}_{\rm sq}, γ_{μν}$) of our universe.

MSSM Higgs sector CP violation at photon colliders: Revisited

We present a comprehensive analysis on the MSSM Higgs sector CP violation at photon colliders including the chargino contributions as well as the contributions of other charged particles. The chargino loop contributions can be important for the would-be CP odd Higgs production at photon colliders. Polarization asymmetries are indispensable in determining the CP properties of neutral Higgs bosons.

Bounds on the Mass and Coupling Constant of Radion in the Randall-Sundrum Theory

Assuming the Goldberger-Wise mechanism, we investigated the effective potential at the one-loop level in the Randall-Sundrum theory. We found the lower and upper bounds of the radion mass m_ϕand the radion-SM coupling constant, 0.8 GeV \lesssim m_ϕ\lesssim 260 GeV and 1400 GeV \lesssim Λ_ϕ\lesssim 1500 GeV for the one-loop level potential. These bounds were determined from two constraints of warp factor = O(M_W/M_{Pl}) and Higgs vev \simeq 246 GeV, which can produce strong bounds of m_ϕand Λ_ϕ. It is phenomenologically important that the one-loop allowed upper bound of the radion mass is about five times larger than the tree-level one, but the radion is still lighter than the Kaluza-Klein modes.

e^+ e^- --> {tilde t}_1 {tilde t}_1^* (H_1) in the MSSM with explicit CP violations

The author considers the effects of the CP-violating phases, e. g. arg(A_t) and arg(mu) on the e^+ e^- --> {tilde t}_1 {tilde t}_1^* (H_1) processes. The third generation squark trilinear terms give significant contributions to the Higgs potential at the one-loop level. This results in the changes of the stop masses and the lighter stop - the lighter anti-stop - the lightest Higgs coupling. The author shows the coupling and the loop effects on the processes. And the author will discuss the determination method of soft parameters.

Phenomenology of the radion in Randall-Sundrum scenario at colliders

Phenomenology of a radion ($ϕ$) that stabilizes the modulus in the Randall-Sundrum scenario is considered. The radion couples to the trace of energy momentum tensor of the standard model (SM) with a strength suppressed only by a new scale ($Λ_ϕ$) of an order of the electroweak scale. In particular, the effective coupling of a radion to two gluons are enhanced due to the trace anomaly of QCD. Therefore, its production cross section at hadron colliders could be enhanced, and the dominant decay mode of a relatively light radion is $ϕ$ -> g g, unlike the SM Higgs boson case. We also present constraints on the mass $m_ϕ$ and the new scale $Λ_ϕ$ from the Higgs search limit at LEP and perturbative unitarity bound.
