Mean-Field Doubly Reflected Backward Stochastic Differential Equations

We study mean-field doubly reflected BSDEs. First, using the fixed point method, we show existence and uniqueness of the solution when the data which define the BSDE are $p$-integrable with $p=1$ or $p>1$. The two cases are treated separately. Next by penalization we show also the existence of the solution. The two methods do not cover the same set of assumptions.

Infinite Horizon Stochastic Impulse Control with Delay and Random Coefficients

We study a class of infinite horizon impulse control problems with execution delay when the dynamics of the system is described by a general adapted stochastic process. The problem is solved by means of probabilistic tools relying on the notion of Snell envelope and infinite horizon reflected backward stochastic differential equations. This allows us to establish the existence of an optimal strategy over all admissible strategies.

Mean-field backward-forward stochastic differential equations and nonzero sum stochastic differential games

We study a general class of fully coupled backward-forward stochastic differential equations of mean-field type (MF-BFSDE). We derive existence and uniqueness results for such a system under weak monotonicity assumptions and without the non-degeneracy condition on the forward equation. This is achieved by suggesting an implicit approximation scheme that is shown to converge to the solution of the system of MF-BFSDE. We apply these results to derive an explicit form of open-loop Nash equilibrium strategies for nonzero sum mean-field linear-quadratic stochastic differential games with random coefficients. These strategies are valid for any time horizon of the game.

Regularity of Nash payoffs of Markovian nonzero-sum stochastic differential games

In this paper we deal with the problem of existence of a smooth solution of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman-Isaacs (HJBI for short) system of equations associated with nonzero-sum stochastic differential games. We consider the problem in unbounded domains either in the case of continuous generators or for discontinuous ones. In each case we show the existence of a smooth solution of the system. As a consequence, we show that the game has smooth Nash payoffs which are given by means of the solution of the HJBI system and the stochastic process which governs the dynamic of the controlled system.

Viscosity solutions of second order integral-partial differential equations: A new result

We show existence and uniqueness of a continuous with polynomial growth viscosity solution of a system of second order integral-partial differential equations (IPDEs for short) without assuming the usual monotonicity condition of the generator with respect to the jump component as in Barles et al.'s article \cite{BarlesBuckPardoux}. The L\'evy measure is arbitrary and not necessarily finite. In our study the main tool we used is the notion of backward stochastic differential equations with jumps.

Viscosity solutions of systems of variational inequalities with interconnected bilateral obstacles of non-local type

In this paper, we study systems of nonlinear second-order variational inequalities with interconnected bilateral obstacles with non-local terms. They are of min-max and max-min types and related to a multiple modes zero-sum switching game in the jump-diffusion model. Using systems of penalized reflected backward SDEs with jumps and unilateral interconnected obstacles, and their associated deterministic functions, we construct for each system a continuous viscosity solution which is unique in the class of functions with polynomial growth.

Viscosity Solutions of Systems of Variational Inequalities with Interconnected Bilateral Obstacles

We study a general class of nonlinear second-order variational inequalities with interconnected bilateral obstacles, related to a multiple modes switching game. Under rather weak assumptions, using systems of penalized unilateral backward SDEs, we construct a continuous viscosity solution of polynomial growth. Moreover, we establish a comparison result which in turn yields uniqueness of the solution.

A Generalized Mixed Zero-sum Stochastic Differential Game and Double Barrier Reflected BSDEs with Quadratic Growth Coefficient

This article is dedicated to the study of mixed zero-sum two-player stochastic differential games in the situation when the player's cost functionals are modeled by doubly controlled reflected backward stochastic equations with two barriers whose coefficients have quadratic growth in Z. This is a generalization of the risk-sensitive payoffs. We show that the lower and the upper value function associated with this stochastic differential game with reflection are deterministic and they are also the unique viscosity solutions for two Isaacs equations with obstacles.

The Continuous Time Nonzero-sum Dynkin Game Problem and Application in Game Options

In this paper we study the nonzero-sum Dynkin game in continuous time which is a two player non-cooperative game on stopping times. We show that it has a Nash equilibrium point for general stochastic processes. As an application, we consider the problem of pricing American game contingent claims by the utility maximization approach.

Lp-Solutions for Reected Backward Stochastic Differential Equations

This paper deals with the problem of existence and uniqueness of a solution for a backward stochastic differential equation (BSDE for short) with one reflecting barrier in the case when the terminal value, the generator and the obstacle process are Lp-integrable with p in ]1,2[. To construct the solution we use two methods: penalization and Snell envelope. As an application we broaden the class of functions for which the related obstacle partial differential equation problem has a unique viscosity solution.

Stochastic Impulse Control of Non-Markovian Processes

We consider a class of stochastic impulse control problems of general stochastic processes i.e. not necessarily Markovian. Under fairly general conditions we establish existence of an optimal impulse control. We also prove existence of combined optimal stochastic and impulse control of a fairly general class of diffusions with random coefficients. Unlike, in the Markovian framework, we cannot apply quasi-variational inequalities techniques. We rather derive the main results using techniques involving reflected BSDEs and the Snell envelope.

The Finite Horizon Optimal Multi-Modes Switching Problem: the Viscosity Solution Approach

In this paper we show existence and uniqueness of a solution for a system of m variational partial differential inequalities with inter-connected obstacles. This system is the deterministic version of the Verification Theorem of the Markovian optimal m-states switching problem. The switching cost functions are arbitrary. This problem is in relation with the valuation of firms in a financial market.

The Starting and Stopping Problem under Knightian Uncertainty and Related Systems of Reflected BSDEs

This article deals with the starting and stopping problem under Knightian uncertainty, i.e., roughly speaking, when the probability under which the future evolves is not exactly known. We show that the lower price of a plant submitted to the decisions of starting and stopping is given by a solution of a system of two reflected backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs for short). We solve this latter system and we give the expression of the optimal strategy. Further we consider a more general system of $m$ ($m\geq 2$) reflected BSDEs with interconnected obstacles. Once more we show existence and uniqueness of the solution of that system.

A Finite Horizon Optimal Multiple Switching Problem

We consider the problem of optimal multiple switching in finite horizon, when the state of the system, including the switching costs, is a general adapted stochastic process. The problem is formulated as an extended impulse control problem and completely solved using probabilistic tools such as the Snell envelop of processes and reflected backward stochastic differential equations. Finally, when the state of the system is a Markov diffusion process, we show that the vector of value functions of the optimal problem is a viscosity solution to a system of variational inequalities with inter-connected obstacles.
