Derived equivalences for chain complexes with support

For a Serre subcategory $\mathscr L$ and a resolving subcategory $\mathscr A$ of an abelian category, we show that the derived equivalence $D^b(\overline{\mathscr A} \cap \mathscr L) \simeq D^b_{\mathscr L}(\mathscr A)$ holds under certain conditions. We apply this to obtain derived equivalences in the contexts of chain complexes of graded modules or coherent sheaves, with finite $\mathscr A$-dimension, supported on closed sets having eventually finite $\mathscr A$-dimension. Using this, we obtain descriptions of the homotopy fibers in (hermitian) K theory of the restriction maps to certain open sets.

Derived equivalences via Tate resolutions

For any finite sequence of elements $s_1, \ldots , s_d$ in a commutative noetherian ring $R$, we show that for $n \gg 0$, the natural map from the Koszul complex $K(s_1^n, \ldots , s_d^n)$ to the Koszul complex $K(s_1, \ldots , s_d)$ factors through the Tate resolution on $s_1^n, \ldots , s_d^n$. Using this, for any resolving subcategory $\mathcal A$ of mod($R$) and any ideal $I$ such that it has a filtration $\{ I_n \}$ which is equivalent to the $I$-adic filtration and $\textrm{dim}_{\mathcal A}(R/I_n) < \infty$, we show a derived equivalence between the bounded derived category of finitely generated modules supported on $V(I)$ having finite $\mathcal A$-dimension and the bounded derived category of $\mathcal A$ with homologies supported on $V(I)$. As a special case, when $R$ is of prime characteristic and $I$ is of finite projective dimension, we obtain a derived equivalence between the bounded derived category of finite projective dimension modules supported on $V(I)$ and the bounded derived category of projective modules with homologies supported on $V(I)$.

Finite homological dimension and a derived equivalence

For a Cohen-Macaulay ring $R$, we exhibit the equivalence of the bounded derived categories of certain resolving subcategories, which, amongst other results, yields an equivalence of the bounded derived category of finite length and finite projective dimension modules with the bounded derived category of projective modules with finite length homologies. This yields isomorphisms of various generalized cohomology groups (like K-theory) and improves on terms of a spectral sequence and Gersten complexes.

On Dévissage for Witt groups

In this paper we extend and apply the work of Paul Balmer and others on derived and triangular Witt Groups. We obtain a generalized form of dévissage for derived Witt Groups over Cohen-Macaulay rings.
