Transverse Ricci solitons on a compact foliated manifold

We investigate transverse Ricci solitons, the self-similar solutions of the transverse Ricci flow, on a compact foliated manifold. In particular, we show the relations between a taut Riemannian foliation and a transverse Ricci soliton. Moreover, we find some examples of transverse Ricci solitons.

Harmonic maps on weighted Riemannian foliations

On foliations, there are two kinds of harmonic maps, that is, transversally harmonic map and $(F,F')$-harmonic map which are equivalent when the foliation is minimal. In this paper, we study transversally f-harmonic and $(F,F')_f$-harmonic maps on weighted foliations.

Liouville type theorem for (F;F')p-harmonic maps on foliations

In this paper, we study $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')_{p}$-harmonic maps between foliated Riemannian manifolds $(M,g,\mathcal F)$ and $(M',g',\mathcal F')$. A $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')_{p}$-harmonic map $ϕ:(M,g,\mathcal F)\to (M', g',\mathcal F')$ is a critical point of the transversal $p$-energy functional $E_{B,p}$. Trivially, $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')_2$-harmonic map is $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')$-harmonic map, which is a critical point of $E_B$. There is another definition of a harmonic map on foliated Riemannian manifolds, called transversally harmonic map, which is a solution of the Euler-Largrange equation $τ_b(ϕ)=0$. Two definitions are not equivalent, but if $\mathcal F$ is minimal, then two definitons are equivalent. Firstly, we give the first and second variational formulas for $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')_{p}$-harmonic maps. Next, we investigate the generalized Weitzenböck type formula and the Liouville type theorem for $(\mathcal F,\mathcal F')_{p}$-harmonic map.

Transversely symplectic Dirac operators on a transversely symplectic foliation

We study the transversely metaplectic structure and the transversely symplectic Dirac operator on a transversely symplectic foliation. Moreover, we give the Weitzenbock type formula for transversely symplectic Dirac operators and we estimate the lower bound of the eigenvalues of the transversely symplectic Dirac operator on special spinors space on transverse Kahler foliations.

Twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology on transverse Kähler foliations

In this paper, we study the twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology and transverse hard Lefschetz theorem on a transverse Kahler foliation. And we give some properties for $Δ_κ$-harmonic forms and prove the Kodaira-Serre type duality for the twisted basic Dolbeault cohomology.

Transverse conformal Killing forms on Kahler foliations

On a closed, connected Riemannian manifold with a Kähler foliation of codimension $q=2m$, any transverse Killing $r\ (\geq 2)$-form is parallel (S. D. Jung and M. J. Jung [\ref{JJ2}], Bull. Korean Math. Soc. 49 (2012)). In this paper, we study transverse conformal Killing forms on Kähler foliations and prove that if the foliation is minimal, then for any transversal conformal Killing $r$-form $ϕ$ $(2\leq r \leq q-2)$, $Jϕ$ is parallel. Here $J$ is defined in Section 4.

Transversal hard Lefschetz theorem on transversely symplectic foliations

We study the transversal hard Lefschetz theorem on a transversely symplectic foliation. This article extends the results of transversally symplectic flows (H.K.~Pak, "Transversal harmonic theory for transversally symplectic flows", J. Aust. Math. Soc. 84 (2008), 233--245) to the general transversely symplectic foliation.

The mean curvature of transverse Kähler foliations

We study properties of the mean curvature one-form and its holomorphic and antiholomorphic cousins on a transverse Kähler foliation. If the mean curvature of the foliation is automorphic, then there are some restrictions on basic cohomology similar to that on Kähler manifolds, such as the requirement that the odd basic Betti numbers must be even. However, the full Hodge diamond structure does not apply to basic Dolbeault cohomology unless the foliation is taut.

On Riemannian foliations admitting transversal conformal fields

Let $(M,g_M,\mathcal F)$ be a closed, connected Riemannian manifold with a Riemannian foliation $\mathcal F$ of nonzero constant transversal scalar curvature. When $M$ admits a transversal nonisometric conformal field, we find some generalized conditions that $\mathcal F$ is transversally isometric to the sphere.

Basic Dolbeault cohomology and Weitzenböck frmulas on transversely Kähler foliations

We study basic Dolbeault cohomology and find new Weitzenböck formulas on a transversely Kähler foliation. We investigate conditions on mean curvature and Ricci curvature that impose restrictions on basic Dolbeault cohomology. For example, we prove that on a transversely Kähler foliation with positive transversal Ricci curvature, there are no nonzero basic-harmonic forms of type $(r,0)$, among other results.

Transversal infinitesimal automorphisms on Kähler foliations

Let F be a Kähler foliation on a compact Riemannian manifold M. we study the properties of infinitesimal automorphisms on (M,F), and in particular we concentrate on the transversal conformal field, transversal projective field and transversally holomorphic field

Generalized Obata theorem and its applications on foliations

We prove the generalized Obata theorem on foliations. Let M be a complete Riemannian manifold with a foliation F of codimension $q>1$ and a bundle-like metric. Then $(M, F)$ is transversally isometric to the q-sphere of radius 1/c in (q+1)-dimensional Euclidean space endowed with the action of a discrete subgroup of the orthogonal group O(q), if and only if there exists a non-constant basic function f such that $\nabla_X df = -c^2 f X^\flat for all basic normal vector fields X, where c is a positive constant and \nabla is the connection on the normal bundle. By the generalized Obata theorem, we classify such manifolds which admit transversal non-isometric conformal fields.

Transverse conformal Killing forms and a Gallot-Meyer Theorem for foliations

We study transverse conformal Killing forms on foliations and prove a Gallot-Meyer theorem for foliations. Moreover, we show that on a foliation with $C$-positive normal curvature, if there is a closed basic 1-form $ϕ$ such that $Δ_Bϕ=qCϕ$, then the foliation is transversally isometric to the quotient of a $q$-sphere.
