Fermionic Basis in Conformal Field Theory: The Free Fermion Point

In this work, we use the master function approach to describe the CFT limit of the six-vertex model at the free fermion point. Using the ODE/IM correspondence, we obtain an explicit form of the master function. This allows us to compute the asymptotic expansion of the function $ω(λ, μ)$ describing the expectation values of the fermionic basis operators. As a result, we describe the entire Virasoro module of the corresponding CFT, including the integrals of motion as well.

Fermionic Basis in Conformal Field Theory and Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz for Excited States II

We consider the XXZ spin chain in the scaling limit in the Matsubara direction. The main result of this paper is new representations for the functions $Ψ(l, κ)$ and $Θ(l, m; κ, α)$ associated with the function $ω(ζ, ξ; κ, κ)$ found in the expression for the correlation function of the generators of the fermionic basis for the XXZ spin chain. The final result incorporates the case of particle-hole excitations which is needed for the relation of the fermionic basis to the Virasoro basis of the CFT descendants.
