Probing deformations

We probe poly-vector deformations of Type II backgrounds by the fundamental string, D0-brane and D3-brane, and of the 11D membrane background by the fundamental M2-brane. We show that the corresponding deformations of the world-volume theories can be written in terms of flows similar to the $\mathrm{T}\bar{\mathrm{T}}$ flow. This interpretation works equally well for abelian (TsT) and non-abelian deformations.

Uni-vector deformations, D0-bound states and DLCQ

We investigate uni-vector deformation in the Type IIA setup and show that the D0-brane background is mapped into itself (sedimentation), and other extremal backgrounds get bound with a dissolved D0-brane charge. Explicitly we generate F1-D0 and D2-D0 bound states background from uni-vector deformations. For the former we show that deformation of the non-extremal string gives the correct thermal F1-D0 bound state. We discuss relations between critical uni-vector deformations and DLCQ of M-theory.

Brane bound states, deformations and OM

We investigate behavior of brane backgrounds under poly-vector deformations in Type IIB and D=11 supergravities. We find that the standard bi-vector deformations add dissolved F1 string charge to a Dp-brane background, quadri-vector deformations add D3-brane charge, tri- and six-vector deformations in D=11 add M2- and M5-brane charges respectively. We discuss these results in the context of NRCS and OM theories.

Tri-vector deformations with external fluxes

We extend the formalism of tri-vector deformations to the full SL(5) exceptional field theory with no truncation assumed thus covering 11D backgrounds of any form. We derive explicit transformation rules for 11D supergravity component fields and prove that these generate solutions given the same algebraic conditions hold: generalized Yang-Baxter equation and the unimodularity condition.
