On the use of the generalized Littlewood theorem concerning integrals of the logarithm of analytical functions for calculations of infinite sums and analysis of zeroes of analytical functions

Recently, we have established and used the generalized Littlewood theorem concerning contour integrals of the logarithm of analytical function to obtain a few new criteria equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis. Here, the same theorem is applied to calculate certain infinite sums and study the properties of zeroes of a few analytical functions.

Novel integral representations of the Riemann zeta-function and Dirichlet eta-function, close expressions for Laurent series expansions of powers of trigonometric functions and digamma function, and summation rules

We have established novel integral representations of the Riemann zeta-function and Dirichlet eta-function based on powers of trigonometric functions and digamma function, and then use these representations to find close forms of Laurent series expansions of these same powers of trigonometric functions and digamma function. The so obtained series can be used to find numerous summation rules for certain values of the Riemann zeta and related functions and numbers, such as e.g. Bernoulli and Euler numbers.

Asymptotic of the generalized Li's sums which non-negativity is equivalent to the Riemann Hypothesis

Recently, we have established the generalized Li's criterion equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis, viz. demonstrated that the sums over all non-trivial Riemann function zeroes k_n,b=Sum_rho(1-(1-((rho+b)/(rho-b-1))**n) for any real b not equal to -1/2 are non-negative if and only if the Riemann hypothesis holds true; arXiv:1304.7895 (2013); Ukrainian Math. J., 66, 371 - 383, 2014. (Famous Li's criterion corresponds to the case b=0 (or b=1) here). This makes timely the detailed studies of these sums, and in particular also the study of their asymptotic for large n. This question, assuming the truth of RH, is answered in the present Note. We show that on RH, for large enough n, for any real b not equal to -1/2, one has: k_n,b=Sum_rho(1-(1-((rho+b)/(rho-b-1))**n)=0.5*abs(2b+1)*n*ln(n)+0.5*abs(2b+1)*(gamma-1-ln(2*pi/abs(2b+1))*n+o(n), where gamma is Euler-Mascheroni constant.

A few equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann zeta-function and equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis III. Exponential weight functions

This paper is a continuation of our recent papers with the same title, arXiv:0806.1596v1 [math.NT], arXiv:0904.1277v1 where a number of integral equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann zeta-function were introduced and it was shown that some of them are equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis. A few new equalities of this type, which this time involve exponential functions, are established, and for the first time we have found equalities involving the integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann zeta-function taken exclusively along the real axis. Some of the equalities we have found are tested numerically. In particular, an integral equality involving the logarithm of abs(zeta(1/2+it)) and a weight function cosh(pi*t)^(-1) is shown numerically to be correct up to the 80 digits. For exponential weight function exp(-at), the possible contribution of the Riemann function zeroes non-lying on the critical line is rigorously estimated and shown to be extremely small, in particular, smaller than trillion of digits, 10^(-10^(13)), for a=4*pi.

On the use of the variable change w=exp(u) to establish novel integral representations of the Riemann zeta(s,a) -function, incomplete gamma- function, confluent hypergeometric Phi-function and beta function

The variable change w=exp(u) is applied to establish novel integral representations of the incomplete gamma-function, hypergeometric F-function,confluent hypergeometric /Phi-function and beta-function, and to analyze these functionsas as well as the Riemann /zeta(s,a)-function. In particular, using these representations we give a pedagogically instructive proof of the well known approximate functional relation for the Riemann /zeta-function and derive Hurwitz representation of the /zeta(s,a)-function.

A few equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann zeta-function and equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis II

This paper is a continuation of our recent paper with the same title, arXiv:0806.1596v1 [math.NT], where a number of integral equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann zeta-function were introduced and it was shown that some of them are equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis. A few new equalities of this type are established; contrary to the preceding paper the focus now is on integrals involving the argument of the Riemann zeta-function (imaginary part of logarithm) rather than the logarithm of its module (real part of logarithm). Preliminary results of the numerical research performed using these equalities to test the Riemann hypothesis are presented. Our integral equalities, together with the equalities given in the previous paper, include all earlier known criteria of this kind, viz. Wang, Volchkov and Balazard-Saias-Yor criteria, which are certain particular cases of the general approach proposed.

A few equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann Zeta-function and equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis

Using a generalized Littlewood theorem concerning integrals of the logarithm of analytical functions, we have established a few equalities involving integrals of the logarithm of the Riemann Zeta-function and have rigorously proven that they are equivalent to the Riemann hypothesis. Separate consideration for imaginary and real parts of these equalities, which deal correspondingly with the integrals of the logarithm of the module of the Riemann function and with the integrals of its argument is given. Preliminary results of the numerical research performed using these equalities to test the Riemann hypothesis are presented.

On the Hamiltonian whose spectrum coincides with the set of primes

The problem of construction of a simple one - dimensional Hamiltonian whose spectrum coincides with the set of primes is considered. We note that quasiclassically a Hamiltonian whose spectrum has the same counting function as that of the primes in the leading order (i. e. integral logarithm) can be constructed with the function V(x) whose inverse is asymptotically given by x=li(V^(1/2)). Hamiltonians, whose spectra coincide with the first 1 - 1000 primes are constructed numerically and their fractal structure is revealed. The possibility of using such a "prime-generating" Hamiltonian for investigation of certain number-theoretical problems is discussed.
