Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

Recent results on short-lived hadronic resonances obtained with the ALICE detector at LHC energies are presented. These results include masses, widths, transverse momentum spectra, yields, and ratios of resonance yields to longer-lived ground-state particles, and elliptic flows. The results are compared with model predictions and measurements at lower energies.

Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

Recent results on short-lived hadronic resonances obtained with the ALICE detector at LHC energies are presented. These results include system-size and collision-energy evolution of transverse momentum spectra, yields and the ratios of resonance yields to those of longer-lived particles, and nuclear modification factors. Results will be compared with model predictions.

Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

Hadronic resonance production plays an important role both in elementary and in nucleus-nucleus collisions. In heavy-ion collisions, since the lifetimes of short-lived resonances are comparable with the lifetime of the late hadronic phase, regeneration and rescattering effects become important and ratios of yields of resonances relative to those of longer lived particles can be used to estimate the time interval between the chemical and kinetic freeze-out. The measurements in pp and p--Pb collisions constitute a reference for nuclear collisions and provide information for tuning event generators inspired by Quantum Chromodynamics.

Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

We present recent results on short-lived hadronic resonances obtained by the ALICE experiment at LHC energies. Results include system-size and collision-energy evolution of transverse momentum spectra, yields and ratios of resonance yields to those of longer lived particles, and nuclear modification factors. The results are compared with model predictions and measurements at lower energies.

Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

We present recent results on short-lived hadronic resonances obtained by the ALICE experiment at LHC energies, including results from the Xe--Xe run. The ALICE results on transverse momentum spectra, yields, their ratio to long-lived particles, and nuclear modification factors will be discussed. The results will be compared with model predictions and measurements at lower energies.

Hadronic resonance production with ALICE at the LHC

We present recent results on short-lived hadronic resonances obtained by the ALICE experiment in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies, including the most recent measurements of $Λ(1520)$ and $Ξ(1530)^{0}$ resonances.

Hadronic resonance production with the ALICE experiment in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies

Hadronic resonances $\mathrm{K}^{*}(892)^{0}$, $ϕ$(1020) and $Σ(1385)^{\pm}$ have been measured by the ALICE experiment in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV and in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_\mathrm{NN}}}=2.76$ TeV. Transverse momentum spectra, particle ratios, nuclear modification factor and comparison with model predictions are discussed. In addition, ALICE results are compared with data obtained at RHIC energy.
