Phenomenological analysis of the possible impact of Double Parton Scattering in double $J/ψ$ production at the COMPASS detector using the CERN $π^-$ beam at 190 GeV/c

In this paper we discuss the impact of the Double Parton Scattering (DPS) mechanism for the production of $J/ψ$ pairs at the COMPASS energy. We find that the kinematics suppresses the DPS cross section by a factor of $\sim1/2$. The upper limit for the double $J/ψ$ production DPS cross section at the COMPASS energy is estimated. The Feynman-$x$ distributions of double $J/ψ$ production with the CERN $π^-$ beam are presented.

Analysis of the baryonic state $|[qc]c\rangle$

In this note we analyse the structure of the baryonic state $|[qc]c\rangle$ with a spin-0 diquark $[qc]$, as compared to baryonic states $|(qc)c\rangle$ and $|q(cc)\rangle$ containing internal spin-1 diquark states. While one can identify the state $|q(cc)\rangle$ with the state observed at LHCb, the state $|(qc)c\rangle$ could probably be part of the state $Ξ_{cc}^{++}(3780)$. Accordingly, the ground state of $|[qc]c\rangle$ can be identified with the state $Ξ_{cc}^+(3520)$.

Production of doubly charmed baryons nearly at rest

We investigate the production cross sections, momentum distributions and rapidity distributions for doubly charmed baryons which according to the intrinsic heavy quark mechanism are produced nearly at rest. These events should be measurable at fixed-target experiments like STAR@RHIC and AFTER@LHC.

Double quarkonium production at high Feynman-$x$

In this paper we give estimates for the proton--proton cross sections into pairs of quarkonium states $J/ψ$, $ψ(2S)$, $Υ(1S)$ and $Υ(2S)$ at the scheduled AFTER@LHC energy of $115$GeV. The estimates are based on the intrinsic heavy flavor mechanism which is observable for high values of $x_F$, a range outside the dominance of single parton and double parton scattering.

Production of the Doubly Charmed Baryons at the SELEX experiment -- The double intrinsic charm approach

The high production rate and $\langle x_{F} \rangle > 0.33$ of the doubly charmed baryons measured by the SELEX experiment is not amenable to perturbative QCD analysis. In this paper we calculate the production of the doubly heavy baryons with the double intrinsic charm Fock states whose existence is rigorously predicted by QCD. The production rate and the longitudinal momentum distribution are both reproduced. We also show that the production rates of the doubly charmed baryons and double $J/ψ$ production observed by NA3 collaboration are comparable. Recent experimental results are reviewed. The production cross section of the doubly charmed baryons at a fixed-target experiment at the LHC is presented.

Production properties of the Doubly Charmed Baryons at the large Feynman-X

This paper focuses on disagreement between theoretical predictions and the SELEX results of the production properties of Doubly Charmed Baryons. The role of the intrinsic charm mechanism in the SELEX kinematic region is researched. The production ratio of the $Ξ_{cc}^+$ baryon in the SELEX kinematic region is presented. The recent experimental results are reviewed.

On the production properties of the Doubly-Charmed Baryons

This paper focuses on disagreement between theoretical predictions and experimental results of the production properties of Doubly Charmed Baryons. The kinematic dependencies were used to clarify the discrepancy between the SELEX data and the theory. The production ratio of the $Ξ_{cc}^+$ baryon in the SELEX kinematic region is presented. The recent experimental results are reviewed.

Hadronic B_c decays as a test of B_c cross section

This paper focuses on disagreement between theoretical predictions and experimental results of the production properties of Bc meson. Hadronic decays of Bc are used to separate predictions of production cross section and predictions of branching ratio. The branching ratios of Bc decays to J/psi + πand to J/psi + 3πare also presented.
