Geometry and integrability in $\mathcal{N}=8$ supersymmetric mechanics

We construct the $\mathcal{N}=8$ supersymmetric mechanics with potential term whose configuration space is the special Kähler manifold of rigid type and show that it can be viewed as the Kähler counterpart of $\mathcal{N}=4$ mechanics related to "curved WDVV equations". Then, we consider the special case of the supersymmetric mechanics with the non-zero potential term defined on the family of $U(1)$-invariant one-(complex)dimensional special Kähler metrics. The bosonic parts of these systems include superintegrable deformations of perturbed two-dimensional oscillator and Coulomb systems.

Extended supersymmetric Calogero model

We present a surprising redefinition of matrix fermions which brings the supercharges of the $\cal N$-extended supersymmetric $A_{n-1}$ Calogero model introduced in [1] to the standard form maximally cubic in the fermions. The complexity of the model is transferred to a non-canonical and nonlinear conjugation property of the fermions. Employing the new cubic supercharges, we apply a supersymmetric generalization of a "folding" procedure for $A_{2n-1}\oplus A_1$ to explicitly construct the supercharges and Hamiltonian for arbitrary even-$\cal N$ supersymmetric extensions of the $B_n$, $C_n$ and $D_n$ rational Calogero models. We demonstrate that all considered models possess a dynamical $osp({\cal N}|2)$ superconformal symmetry.

Supersymmetric many-body Euler-Calogero-Moser model

We explicitly construct a supersymmetric $so(n)$ spin-Calogero model with an arbitrary even number $\cal N$ of supersymmetries. It features $\frac{1}{2}{\cal N}n(n{+}1)$ rather than ${\cal N}n$ fermionic coordinates and a very simple structure of the supercharges and the Hamiltonian. The latter, together with additional conserved currents, form an $osp({\cal N}|2)$ superalgebra. We provide a superspace description for the simplest case, namely ${\cal N}{=}2$ supersymmetry. The reduction to an $\cal N$-extended supersymmetric goldfish model is also discussed.

${\cal N}$-extended supersymmetric Calogero models

We propose a new ${\cal N}$-extended supersymmetric $su(n)$ spin-Calogero model. Employing a generalized Hamiltonian reduction adopted to the supersymmetric case, we explicitly construct a novel rational $n$-particle Calogero model with an arbitrary even number of supersymmetries. It features ${\cal N}n^2$ rather than ${\cal N}n$ fermionic coordinates and increasingly high fermionic powers in the supercharges and the Hamiltonian.

${\cal N}{=}\,4$ supersymmetric mechanics on curved spaces

We present ${\cal N}{=}\,4$ supersymmetric mechanics on $n$-dimensional Riemannian manifolds constructed within the Hamiltonian approach. The structure functions entering the supercharges and the Hamiltonian obey modified covariant constancy equations as well as modified Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde equations specified by the presence of the manifold's curvature tensor. Solutions of original Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde equations and related prepotentials defining ${\cal N}{=}\,4$ superconformal mechanics in flat space can be lifted to $so(n)$-invariant Riemannian manifolds. For the Hamiltonian this lift generates an additional potential term which, on spheres and (two-sheeted) hyperboloids, becomes a Higgs-oscillator potential. In particular, the sum of $n$ copies of one-dimensional conformal mechanics results in a specific superintegrable deformation of the Higgs oscillator.

SU(2$|$1) supersymmetric mechanics on curved spaces

We present SU$(2|1)$ supersymmetric mechanics on $n$-dimensional Riemannian manifolds within the Hamiltonian approach. The structure functions including prepotentials entering the supercharges and the Hamiltonian obey extended curved WDVV equations specified by the manifold's metric and curvature tensor. We consider the most general $u(2)$-valued prepotential, which contains both types (with and without spin variables), previously considered only separately. For the case of real Kähler manifolds we construct all possible interactions. For isotropic ($so(n)$-invariant) spaces we provide admissible prepotentials for any solution to the curved WDVV equations. All known one-dimensional SU$(2|1)$ supersymmetric models are reproduced.

Curved Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde equation and ${\cal N}{=}\,4$ mechanics

We propose a generalization of the Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde (WDVV) equation from ${\mathbb R}^n$ to an arbitrary Riemannian manifold. Its form is obtained by extending the relation of the WDVV equation with ${\cal N}{=}\,4$ supersymmetric $n$-dimensional mechanics from flat to curved space. The resulting `curved WDVV equation' is written in terms of a third-rank Codazzi tensor. For every flat-space WDVV solution subject to a simple constraint we provide a curved-space solution on any isotropic space, in terms of the rotationally invariant conformal factor of the metric.

Oscillators from nonlinear realizations

We construct the systems of the harmonic and Pais-Uhlenbeck oscillators, which are invariant with respect to arbitrary noncompact Lie algebras. The equations of motion of these systems can be obtained with the help of the formalism of nonlinear realizations. We prove that it is always possible to choose time and the fields within this formalism in such a way that the equations of motion become linear and, therefore, reduce to ones of ordinary harmonic and Pais-Uhlenbeck oscillators. The first-order actions, that produce these equations, can also be provided. As particular examples of this construction, we discuss the $so(2,3)$ and $G_{2(2)}$ algebras.

N=4 l-conformal Galilei superalgebras inspired by D(2,1;a) supermultiplets

N=4 supersymmetric extensions of the l-conformal Galilei algebra are constructed by properly extending the Lie superalgebra associated with the most general N=4 superconformal group in one dimension D(2,1;a). If the acceleration generators in the superalgebra form analogues of the irreducible (1,4,3)-, (2,4,2)-, (3,4,1)-, and (4,4,0)-supermultiplets of D(2,1;a), the parameter a turns out to be constrained by the Jacobi identities. In contrast, if the tower of the acceleration generators resembles a component decomposition of a generic real superfield, which is a reducible representation of D(2,1;a), a remains arbitrary. An N=4 l-conformal Galilei superalgebra recently proposed in [Phys. Lett. B 771 (2017) 401] is shown to be a particular instance of a more general construction in this work.

Hidden symmetries of deformed oscillators

We associate with each simple Lie algebra a system of second-order differential equations invariant under a non-compact real form of the corresponding Lie group. In the limit of a contraction to a Schrödinger algebra, these equations reduce to a system of ordinary harmonic oscillators. We provide two clarifying examples of such deformed oscillators: one system invariant under SO(2,3) transformations, and another system featuring $G_{2(2)}$ symmetry. The construction of invariant actions requires adding semi-dynamical degrees of freedom; we illustrate the algorithm with the two examples mentioned.

Minimal realization of $\ell$-conformal Galilei algebra, Pais-Uhlenbeck oscillators and their deformation

We present the minimal realization of the $\ell$-conformal Galilei group in 2+1 dimensions on a single complex field. The simplest Lagrangians yield the complex Pais-Uhlenbeck oscillator equations. We introduce a minimal deformation of the $\ell$=1/2 conformal Galilei (a.k.a. Schrödinger) algebra and construct the corresponding invariant actions. Based on a new realization of the d=1 conformal group, we find a massive extension of the near-horizon Kerr-dS/AdS metric.

SU(1,2) invariance in two-dimensional oscillator

Performing the Hamiltonian analysis we explicitly established the canonical equivalence of the deformed oscillator, constructed in arXiv:1607.03756[hep-th], with the ordinary one. As an immediate consequence, we proved that the SU(1,2) symmetry is the dynamical symmetry of the ordinary two-dimensional oscillator. The characteristic feature of this SU(1,2) symmetry is a non-polynomial structure of its generators written it terms of the oscillator variables.

N=4, d=3 Born-Infeld theory in component approach

Using the formalism of nonlinear realizations we construct the component on-shell action of the N=4,d=3 Born-Infeld theory, which is the action of N=2, d=3 vector supermultiplet, fixed by invariance with respect to the additional spontaneously broken N=2, d=3 supersymmetry. Our construction shows that dealing with the systems with partial breaking of supersymmetry with vector fields in the multiplet, it is preferrable to use their formulation in terms of fermionic superfields only.

Higher-derivative superparticle in AdS$_3$ space

Employing the coset approach we construct component actions for a superparticle moving in AdS$_3$ with $N{=}(2,0)$, $D{=}3$ supersymmetry partially broken to $N{=}2$, $d{=}1$. These actions may contain higher time-derivative terms, which are chosen to possess the same (super)symmetries as the free superparticle. In terms of the nonlinear-realization superfields, the component actions always take a simpler form when written in terms of covariant Cartan forms. We also consider in detail the reduction to the nonrelativistic case and construct the corresponding action a Newton-Hooke superparticle and its higher-derivative generalizations. The structure of these higher time-derivative generalizations is completely fixed by invariance under the supersymmetric Newton-Hooke algebra extended by two central charges.

Higher-derivative N=4 superparticle in three-dimensional spacetime

Using the coset approach (nonlinear realization) we construct component actions for a superparticle in three-dimensional spacetime with N=4 supersymmetry partially broken to N=2. These actions may contain an anyonic term and the square of the first extrinsic worldline curvature. We present the supercharges for the unbroken and broken supersymmetries as well as the Hamiltonian for the supersymmetric anyon. In terms of the nonlinear realization superfields, the superspace actions take a simple form in all cases.

Isospin particle systems on quaternionic projective spaces

We construct the isospin particle system on $n$-dimensional quaternionic projective spaces in the presence of BPST-instanton by the reduction from the free particle on $(2n+1)$-dimensional complex projective space. Then we add to this system a "quaternionic oscillator potential" and show, that this oscillator-like system is superintegrable. We show, that besides the analogs of quadratic constants of motion of the spherical (Higgs) and $\mathbb{C}P^n $- oscillators, it possesses the third-order constants of motion, which are functionally independent from the quadratic ones.

N=2 supersymmetric S^2 -> CP^3 -> S^4 fibration viewed as superparticle mechanics

We discuss a Hamiltonian reduction procedure that relates the mechanics of an N=2 particle on CP^3 with the motion of such a superparticle on S^4 in the presence of an instanton background. The key ingredients of the bosonic fibration S^2 -> CP^3 -> S^4 are recalled from the viewpoint of particle mechanics on CP^3. We describe an N=2 supersymmetric extension which allows for a Hamiltonian reduction. The S^2 degrees of freedom are encoded in the supercharges via SU(2) currents. Finally, we present the Hamiltonian of our system and its superfield Lagrangian.

Many-particle mechanics with D(2,1;alpha) superconformal symmetry

We overcome the barrier of constructing N=4 superconformal models in one space dimension for more than three particles. The D(2,1;alpha) superalgebra of our systems is realized on the coordinates and momenta of the particles, their superpartners and one complex pair of harmonic variables. The models are determined by two prepotentials, F and U, which must obey the WDVV and a Killing-type equation plus homogeneity conditions. We investigate permutation-symmetric solutions, with and without translation invariance. Models based on deformed A_n and BCD_n root systems are constructed for any value of alpha, and exceptional F_n-type and super root systems admit solutions as well. Translation-invariant mechanics occurs for any number of particles at alpha=-1/2 (osp(4|2) invariance as a degenerate limit) and for four particles at arbitrary alpha (three series).
