Sum formulas for Schur multiple zeta values

In this paper, we study sum formulas for Schur multiple zeta values and give a generalization of the sum formulas for multiple zeta(-star) values. We show that for ribbons of certain types, the sum over all admissible Young tableaux of this shape evaluates to a rational multiple of the Riemann zeta value. For arbitrary ribbons with $n$ corners, we show that these can be always expressed in terms of multiple zeta values of depth $\leq n$. In particular, when $n=2$, we give explicit, what we call, bounded type sum formulas for these ribbons. Finally, we show how to evaluate the sum over all admissible Young tableaux with exactly one corner and also prove bounded type sum formulas for them. This will also lead to relations among sums of Schur multiple zeta values over all admissible Young tableaux of different shapes.

On the parity result for multiple Dirichlet series

In this paper, we discuss the parity result for multiple Dirichlet series which contains some special values of multiple zeta functions as special cases, Mordell--Tornheim type of multiple zeta values, zeta values of the root systems and so on. Moreover, we can give explicit expression in terms of lower series by using main theorem.

Evaluation of Tornheim's type of double series

We examine values of certain Tornheim's type of double series with odd weight. As a result, an affirmative answer to a conjecture about the parity theorem for the zeta function of the root system of the exceptional Lie algebra $G_2$, proposed by Komori, Matsumoto and Tsumura, is given.

The Graph Ramsey Number $R(F_\ell,K_6)$

For a given pair of two graphs $(F,H)$, let $R(F,H)$ be the smallest positive integer $r$ such that for any graph $G$ of order $r$, either $G$ contains $F$ as a subgraph or the complement of $G$ contains $H$ as a subgraph. Baskoro, Broersma and Surahmat (2005) conjectured that \[ R(F_\ell,K_n)=2\ell(n-1)+1 \] for $\ell\ge n\ge3$, where $F_\ell$ is the join of $K_1$ and $\ell K_2$. In this paper, we prove that this conjecture is true for the case $n=6$.

Certain weighted sum formulas for multiple zeta values with some parameters

Multiple zeta values (MZVs) are real numbers which are defined by certain multiple series. Recently, many people have researched for relations among them and many relations are well known. In this paper, we get a new relation among them which is a generalization of a formula obtained by Eie, Liaw and Ong, and has four parameters. Moreover, by using similar method, we also obtain a relation which has six parameters.
