Physics-inspired Pseudo Anomaly Generation and Prototype Feature Guidance for 3D Anomaly Detection

3D point cloud anomaly detection plays a vital role in industrial manufacturing, yet it faces significant challenges due to the scarcity and high acquisition cost of real anomalous samples. The inherently anomaly-free training data further hinders detection methods from effectively learning discriminative features between normal and abnormal instances. To address these issues, we propose PA3AD, a novel framework that introduces a physics-inspired pseudo-anomaly generation strategy to create physically plausible anomalous samples from normal data. Additionally, we incorporate prototype features via a weight-sharing mechanism to guide the model in capturing the distribution shifts between normal and anomalous samples. Specifically, PA3AD introduces two key innovations to tackle the scarcity of real anomalies. First, a physics-inspired module generates diverse pseudo-anomalous point clouds from normal data via multi-physics modeling. Second, momentum-updated prototypes and a difference-aware fusion block capture stable normal representations and their discrepancies with pseudo-anomalies. This design effectively learns distribution shifts, achieving superior detection performance. Extensive experiments on the Anomaly-ShapeNet and Real3D-AD datasets demonstrate that our method consistently outperforms existing state-of-the-art approaches. Our code will be made publicly available at https://github.com/NingxiaoJian/PA3AD.

GuangMing-Explorer: A Four-Legged Robot Platform for Autonomous Exploration in General Environments

Autonomous exploration is a fundamental capability that tightly integrates perception, planning, control, and motion execution. It plays a critical role in a wide range of applications, including indoor target search, mapping of extreme environments, resource exploration, etc. Despite significant progress in individual components, a holistic and practical description of a completely autonomous exploration system, encompassing both hardware and software, remains scarce. In this paper, we present GuangMing-Explorer, a fully integrated autonomous exploration platform designed for robust operation across diverse environments. We provide a comprehensive overview of the system architecture, including hardware design, software stack, algorithm deployment, and experimental configuration. Extensive real-world experiments demonstrate the platform's effectiveness and efficiency in executing autonomous exploration tasks, highlighting its potential for practical deployment in complex and unstructured environments.

TWC-SLAM: Multi-Agent Cooperative SLAM with Text Semantics and WiFi Features Integration for Similar Indoor Environments

Multi-agent cooperative SLAM often encounters challenges in similar indoor environments characterized by repetitive structures, such as corridors and rooms. These challenges can lead to significant inaccuracies in shared location identification when employing point cloud-based techniques. To mitigate these issues, we introduce TWC-SLAM, a multi-agent cooperative SLAM framework that integrates text semantics and WiFi signal features to enhance location identification and loop closure detection. TWC-SLAM comprises a single-agent front-end odometry module based on FAST-LIO2, a location identification and loop closure detection module that leverages text semantics and WiFi features, and a global mapping module. The agents are equipped with sensors capable of capturing textual information and detecting WiFi signals. By correlating these data sources, TWC-SLAM establishes a common location, facilitating point cloud alignment across different agents' maps. Furthermore, the system employs loop closure detection and optimization modules to achieve global optimization and cohesive mapping. We evaluated our approach using an indoor dataset featuring similar corridors, rooms, and text signs. The results demonstrate that TWC-SLAM significantly improves the performance of cooperative SLAM systems in complex environments with repetitive architectural features.

NAMOUnc: Navigation Among Movable Obstacles with Decision Making on Uncertainty Interval

Navigation among movable obstacles (NAMO) is a critical task in robotics, often challenged by real-world uncertainties such as observation noise, model approximations, action failures, and partial observability. Existing solutions frequently assume ideal conditions, leading to suboptimal or risky decisions. This paper introduces NAMOUnc, a novel framework designed to address these uncertainties by integrating them into the decision-making process. We first estimate them and compare the corresponding time cost intervals for removing and bypassing obstacles, optimizing both the success rate and time efficiency, ensuring safer and more efficient navigation. We validate our method through extensive simulations and real-world experiments, demonstrating significant improvements over existing NAMO frameworks. Disturbance-Aware Dynamical Trajectory Planning for Air-Land Bimodal Vehicles

Air-land bimodal vehicles provide a promising solution for navigating complex environments by combining the flexibility of aerial locomotion with the energy efficiency of ground mobility. However, planning dynamically feasible, smooth, collision-free, and energy-efficient trajectories remains challenging due to two key factors: 1) unknown dynamic disturbances in both aerial and terrestrial domains, and 2) the inherent complexity of managing bimodal dynamics with distinct constraint characteristics. This paper proposes a disturbance-aware motion-planning framework that addresses this challenge through real-time disturbance estimation and adaptive trajectory generation. The framework comprises two key components: 1) a disturbance-adaptive safety boundary adjustment mechanism that dynamically determines the feasible region of dynamic constraints for both air and land modes based on estimated disturbances via a disturbance observer, and 2) a constraint-adaptive bimodal motion planner that integrates disturbance-aware path searching to guide trajectories toward regions with reduced disturbances and B-spline-based trajectory optimization to refine trajectories within the established feasible constraint boundaries. Experimental validation on a self-developed air-land bimodal vehicle demonstrates substantial performance improvements across three representative disturbance scenarios, achieving an average 33.9% reduction in trajectory tracking error while still maintaining superior time-energy trade-offs compared to existing methods.

Exploring Embodied Multimodal Large Models: Development, Datasets, and Future Directions

Embodied multimodal large models (EMLMs) have gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential to bridge the gap between perception, cognition, and action in complex, real-world environments. This comprehensive review explores the development of such models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Large Vision Models (LVMs), and other models, while also examining other emerging architectures. We discuss the evolution of EMLMs, with a focus on embodied perception, navigation, interaction, and simulation. Furthermore, the review provides a detailed analysis of the datasets used for training and evaluating these models, highlighting the importance of diverse, high-quality data for effective learning. The paper also identifies key challenges faced by EMLMs, including issues of scalability, generalization, and real-time decision-making. Finally, we outline future directions, emphasizing the integration of multimodal sensing, reasoning, and action to advance the development of increasingly autonomous systems. By providing an in-depth analysis of state-of-the-art methods and identifying critical gaps, this paper aims to inspire future advancements in EMLMs and their applications across diverse domains.
