Nonlinear effects in the laser-assisted scattering of a positron by a muon

The scattering of a positron by a muon in the presence of a linearly polarized laser field is investigated in the first Born approximation. The theoretical results reveals: 1) at large scattering angle, an amount of multiphoton processes take place in the course of scattering. The photon emission processes predominant the photon absorption ones. 2) Some nonlinear phenomena about oscillations, dark angular windows, and asymmetry can be observed in angular distributions. We analyze the reason giving rise to dark windows and geometric asymmetry initially noted in the potential scattering. 3) we also analyze the total differential cross section, the result shows that the larger the incident energy is, the smaller total differential cross section is. The reason of these new results are analysed.

Electron Scattering from Freely Moveable spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ fermion in Strong Laser Field

We study the electron scatter from the freely movable spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ particle in the presence of a linearly polarized laser field in the first Born approximation. The dressed state of electrons is described by a time-dependent wave function derived from a perturbation treatment (of the laser field). With the aid of numerical results we explore the dependencies of the differential cross section on the laser field properties such as the strength, the frequency, as well as on the electron-impact energy, etc. Due to the targets are movable, the DCS of this process reduced comparing to the Mott scattering, especially in small scattering angles.

Laser-modified Angular Distribution of Muon Decay

We show theoretically that the angular distribution of decay rate of muon can be changed dramatically by embedding the decaying muon in a strong linearly polarized laser field. Evaluating the S-matrix elements taking all electronic multiphoton processes into account. The results suggest the muon may have internal structures instead structureless as in the standard model.

Phase coherent control in electron-argon scattering in a bichromatic laser field

We study the elastic scattering of atomic argon by a electron in the presence of a bichromatic laser field. The numerical calculation is done in the first Born approximation (FBA) for a simple screening electric potential. With the help of numerical results we explore the dependence of the differential cross sections (DCS) on the relative phase between the two components of the radiation field and discuss the influence of the number of photons exchanged on the phase-dependence effect. Moreover, we also discuss the numerical results of the DCS for different scattering angles and impact energies.

Floquet system, Bloch oscillation, and Stark ladder

We prove the multi-band Bloch oscillation and Stark ladder in the $nk$ and site representation from the Floquet theorem. The proof is also possible from the equivalence between the Floquet system, Bloch oscillation, and the rotator with spin. We also exactly solve the periodically driven two level atom and two band Bloch oscillation in terms of Heun function.
