Topological classes of thermodynamics of the static multi-charge AdS black holes in gauged supergravities: novel temperature-dependent thermodynamic topological phase transition

In this paper, we investigate, in the framework of the topological approach to black hole thermodynamics, using the generalized off-shell Helmholtz free energy, the topological numbers of the static multi-charge AdS black holes in four- and five-dimensional gauged supergravities. We find that the topological number of the static-charged AdS black holes in four-dimensional Kaluza-Klein (K-K) gauged supergravity theory is $W = 0$, while that of the static-charged AdS black holes in four-dimensional gauged $-iX^0X^1$-supergravity and STU gauged supergravity theories, and five-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton-axion (EMDA) gauged supergravity and STU gauged supergravity, and five-dimensional static-charged AdS Horowitz-Sen black hole are both $W = 1$. Furthermore, we observe a novel temperature-dependent thermodynamic topological phase transition that can happen in the four-dimensional static-charged AdS black hole in EMDA gauged supergravity theory, the four-dimensional static-charged AdS Horowitz-Sen black hole, and the five-dimensional static-charged AdS black hole in K-K gauged supergravity theory. We believe that the novel temperature-dependent thermodynamic topological phase transition could help us better understand black hole thermodynamics and, further, shed new light on the fundamental nature of gauged supergravity theories.

Quantum corrections to the thermodynamics and phase transition of a black hole surrounded by a cavity in the extended phase space

In the extended phase space, we investigate the rainbow gravity-corrected thermodynamic phenomena and phase structure of the Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by a spherical cavity. The results show that rainbow gravity has a very significant effect on the thermodynamic phenomena and phase structure of the black hole. It prevents the black hole from total evaporation and leads to a remnant with a limited temperature but no mass. Additionally, we restore the $P-V$ criticality and obtaine the critical quantities of the canonical ensemble. When the temperature or pressure is smaller than the critical quantities, the system undergoes two Hawking-Page-like phase transitions and one first-order phase transition, which never occurs in the original case. Remarkably, our findings demonstrate that the thermodynamic behavior and phase transition of the rainbow SC black hole surrounded by a cavity in the extended phase space are analogous to those of the Reissner-Nordström anti-de Sitter black hole. Therefore, rainbow gravity activates the effect of electric charge and cutoff factor in the evolution of the black hole.

Accurate correction of arbitrary spin fermions quantum tunneling from non-stationary Kerr-de Sitter black hole based on corrected Lorentz dispersion relation

According to a corrected dispersion relation proposed in the study on string theory and quantum gravity theory, Rarita-Schwinger equation has been precisely modified, which results in a Rarita-Schwinger-Hamilton-Jacobi equation, and through which, the characteristics of arbitrary spin fermions quantum tunneling radiation from non-stationary Kerr-de Sitter black hole are researched. A series of accurately corrected physical quantities such as surface gravity, chemical potential, tunneling probability and Hawking temperature that describe the properties of the black hole are derived. This research has enriched the research methods and made precision of the research contents of black hole physics.

Lorentz symmetry violation and the tunneling radiation of fermions with spin $1/2$ for Kerr Anti-de-Sitter black hole

We studied the correction of the quantum tunneling radiation of fermions with spin $1/2$ in Kerr Anti-de-Sitter black hole. First, the dynamic equation of spin $1/2$ fermions was corrected using Lorentz's violation theory. Second, the new expressions of the fermions quantum tunneling rate, the Hawking temperature of the black hole and the entropy of the black hole were obtained according to the corrected fermions dynamic equation. At last, some comments are made on the results of our work.

Rainbow gravity corrections to the information flux of a black hole and the sparsity of Hawking radiation

In this paper, by utilizing the rainbow functions that were proposed by Amelino-Camelia \emph{et al}., the information flux of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole and the sparsity of Hawking radiation in rainbow gravity are explored. The results show that the rainbow gravity has a very significant effect on the information flux. When the mass of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole approaches to the order of Planck scale, the Bekenstein entropy loss per emitted quanta in terms of the mass of Schwarzschild black hole reduces to zero. Furthermore, we also find the sparsity of Hawking radiation in rainbow gravity is no longer a constant; instead, it monotonically decreases as the mass of black hole decrease. At the final stages of evaporation, the modified sparsity becomes infinity, which indicates the effect of quantum gravity stops Hawking radiation and leads to remnant.

The thermodynamics and phase transition of a rainbow black hole

In this work, we construct a new kind of rainbow functions, which has generalized uncertainty principle parameter. Then, we investigate modified thermodynamic quantities and phase transition of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole by employing this new kind of rainbow functions. Our results demonstrate that the rainbow gravity and generalized uncertainty principle have a great effect on the picture of Hawking radiation. They prevent black holes from total evaporation and cause a remnant. In addition, after analyzing the modified local thermodynamic quantities, we find that the effect of rainbow gravity and the generalized uncertainty principle lead to one first-order phase transition, two second-order phase transitions, and two Hawking-Page-type phase transitions in the thermodynamic system of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole.

Modified Fermions Tunneling Radiation from Non-stationary, Axially Symmetric Kerr Black Hole

In this paper, by applying the deformed dispersion relation in quantum gravity theory, we study the correction of fermions' tunneling radiation from non-stationary symmetric black holes. Firstly, the motion equation of fermions is modified in the gravitational spacetime. Based on the motion equation, the modified Hamilton-Jacobi equation has been obtained by a semiclassical approximation method. Then, the tunneling behavior of fermions at the event horizon of non-stationary symmetric Kerr black hole is investigated. Finally, the results show that in the non-stationary symmetric background, the correction of Hawking temperature and the tunneling rate are closely related to the angular parameters of the horizon of the black hole background.

Fermions tunneling from higher-dimensional charged AdS black hole in dRGT massive gravity within modified dispersion relation

The tunneling behavior of fermions with half-integral spin from a higher dimensional charged anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole in de Rham, Gabadadze and Tolley (dRGT) massive gravity is investigated via a modified Hamilton-Jacobi equation. The results demonstrate that the modified thermodynamic quantities not only are related to the properties of the higher dimensional charged AdS black hole in dRGT massive gravity but also depend on the parameter $β$, the coupling constant $σ$ and the mass of emitted particles $m$. In addition, the modified Hawking temperature is higher than the original temperature; hence, the effect of MDR can significantly enhance the evolution of the black hole. Besides, our results can be verified using the modified Stefan-Boltzmann law.

Tunneling radiation of fermions from the non-stationary Kerr black hole

In this paper, the tunneling radiation of fermions with spin $1/2$ and $3/2$ from the non-stationary Kerr black hole are investigated. First, according to the Dirac equation for spin $1/2$ fermions and Rarita-Schwinger equation for spin $3/2$ fermions, we construct the corresponding gamma matrixes and the derive Hamilton-Jacobi equation for spin $1/2$ and $3/2$ fermions. Then, the tunneling behavior of fermions on the event horizon is studied. Finally, we obtain the thermodynamic properties of the non-stationary Kerr black hole. The result shows that the tunneling radiation rate, surface gravity and temperature are all related to ${\dot r_H}$ and ${r'_H}$

Rainbow gravity corrections to the entropic force

The entropic force attracts a lot of interest for its multifunctional properties. For instance, Einstein's field equation, Newton's law of gravitation and the Friedmann equation can be derived from the entropic force. In this paper, utilizing a new kind of rainbow gravity model that was proposed by Magueijo and Smolin, we explore the quantum gravity corrections to the entropic force. First, we derive the modified thermodynamics of a rainbow black hole via its surface gravity. Then, according to Verlinde's theory, the quantum corrections to the entropic force are obtained. The result shows that the modified entropic force is related not only to the properties of the black hole but also the Planck length $\ell_p$, and the rainbow parameter $γ$. Furthermore, based on the rainbow gravity corrected entropic force, the modified Einstein's field equation and the modified Friedmann equation are also derived.

Thermodynamic phase transition of a black hole in rainbow gravity

In this letter, using the rainbow functions that were proposed by Magueijo and Smolin, we investigate the thermodynamics and the phase transition of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole. First, we calculate the rainbow gravity corrected Hawking temperature. From this modification, we then derive the local temperature, free energy, and other thermodynamic quantities in an isothermal cavity. Finally, we analyze the critical behavior, thermodynamic stability, and phase transition of the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole. The results show that the rainbow gravity can stop the Hawking radiation in the final stages of black holes' evolution and lead to the remnants of black holes. Furthermore, one can observe that the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole has one first-order phase transition, two second-order phase transitions, and three Hawking-Page-type phase transitions in the framework of rainbow gravity theory.

Hawking radiation of massive bosons via tunneling from black strings

In the present paper, the Hawking radiation of massive bosons from 4-dimensional and 5-dimensional black strings are studied in quantum tunneling formalism. Firstly, we derive the Hamilton-Jacobi equation set via the Proca equation and WKB approximation. Then, the tunneling rates and Hawking temperature of the black strings are obtained. Our calculations show that the tunneling rates and Hawking temperatures are related to the properties of black strings' spacetime. When compare our results with those of scalars and fermions cases, it finds that they are the same.

Constraining the generalized uncertainty principle with the gravitational wave event GW150914

In this letter, we show that the dimensionless parameter in the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) can be constrained by the gravitational wave event GW150914, which was discovered by the LIGO Scientific and Virgo Collaborations. Firstly, according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle (HUP) and the data of gravitational wave event GW150914, we derive the standard energy-momentum dispersion relation and calculate the difference between the propagation speed of gravitons and the speed of light, i.e., $Δ\upsilon$. Next, using two proposals regarding the GUP, we also generalize our study to the quantum gravity case and obtain the modified speed of gravitons. Finally, based on the modified speed of gravitons and $Δ\upsilon$, the improved upper bounds on the GUP parameters are obtained. The results show that the upper limits of the GUP parameters $β_0$ and $α_0$ are $2.3 \times 10^ {60}$ and $1.8 \times 10^{20}$.

New forms and thermodynamics of the neutral rotating squashed black hole in five-dimensional vacuum Einstein gravity theory

We initiated the program to look for new and simple forms for the five-dimensional rotating squashed black holes by solving directly the equation of motion. In a recent paper, the metric ansatz of dimensional reduction along the fifth spatial dimension was used to obtain a new but rather simple form for the five-dimensional rotating uncharged black hole solution with squashed horizons via solving the vacuum Einstein field equations. In this work, we continue to seek for another new but relatively simple form for the neutral rotating squashed black hole solution by using a different metric ansatz of time-like dimensional reduction. We then find its relation to our previous solution and investigate its thermodynamics by means of the counterterm method. Compared with the previous results given by the other author, both of our new metric forms and their associated thermodynamic expressions are very concise and elegant. Both of two new forms for the neutral rotating squashed black hole solution presented in this paper can be used as the seed to generate its charged generalization in D=5 minimal supergravity.

Thermodynamics and Phase transition of Schwarzschild black hole in Gravity's Rainbow

The Planck length and Planck energy should be taken as invariant scales are in agreement with various theories of quantum gravity. In this scenario, the original general relativity can be changed to the so-called gravity's rainbow which produces significant modifications to the black holes' evolution. In this paper, using two kinds of rainbow functions, we investigate the thermodynamics and the phase transition of Schwarzschild black hole in the context of gravity's rainbow theory. Firstly, with the help of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, we calculate the modified Hawking temperature. Then, based on this modification, we derive the local temperature, free energy and other thermodynamic quantities in an isothermal cavity. Finally, the critical behavior, the thermodynamic stability and phase transition of the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole are analyzed. It turns out that our results are different from the those of Hawking-Page phase transition. Meanwhile, it is found that there are many similarities and differences between rainbow functions I case and rainbow functions II.

Based on semiclassical tunneling method, we focus on charged fermions tunneling from higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordström black hole. We first simplify the Dirac equation by semiclassical approximation, and then a semiclassical Hamilton-Jacobi equation is obtained. Using the Hamilton-Jacobi equation, we study the Hawking temperature and fermions tunneling rate at the event horizon of the higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordström black hole spacetime. Finally, the correct entropy is calculation by the method beyond semiclassical approximation.

The Effects of Minimal Length, Maximal Momentum and Minimal Momentum in Entropic Force

In this paper, the modified entropic force law is studied by using a new kind of generalized uncertainty principle which contains a minimal length, a minimal momentum and a maximal momentum. Firstly, the quantum corrections to the thermodynamics of a black hole is investigated. Then, according to Verlinde's theory, the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) corrected entropic force is obtained. The result shows that the GUP corrected entropic force is related not only to the properties of the black holes, but also to the Planck length and the dimensionless constants $α_{\rm{0}}$ and $β_{\rm{0}}$. Moreover, based on the GUP corrected entropic force, we also derive the modified Einstein's field equation (EFE) and the modified Friedmann equation.

Lorentz Invariance Violation and Modified Hawking Fermions Tunneling from Black Strings

Recently the modified Dirac equation with Lorentz invariance violation has been proposed, which would be helpful to resolve some issues in quantum gravity theory and high energy physics. In this paper, the modified Dirac equation has been generalized in curved spacetime, and then fermion tunneling of black strings is researched under this correctional Dirac field theory. We also use semi-classical approximation method to get correctional Hamilton-Jacobi equation, so that the correctional Hawking temperature and correctional black hole's entropy are derived.
