A note on the lower bounds of genuine multipartite entanglement concurrence

Quantum entanglement plays a pivotal role in quantum information processing. Quantifying quantum entanglement is a challenging and essential research area within the field. This manuscript explores the relationships between bipartite entanglement concurrence, multipartite entanglement concurrence, and genuine multipartite entanglement (GME) concurrence. We derive lower bounds on GME concurrence from these relationships, demonstrating their superiority over existing results through rigorous proofs and numerical examples. Additionally, we investigate the connections between GME concurrence and other entanglement measures, such as tangle and global negativity, in multipartite quantum systems.

Tight upper bound and monogamy relation for the maximum quantum value of the parity-CHSH inequality and applied to device-independent randomness

Based on the violation of Bell inequalities, we can verify quantum random numbers by examining the correlation between device inputs and outputs. In this paper, we derive the maximum quantum value of the parity-CHSH inequality for a three-qubit system, establishing a tight upper bound applicable to any quantum state. Simultaneously, the necessary constraints for achieving saturation are analyzed. Utilizing this method, we present necessary and sufficient conditions for certain states to violate the parity-CHSH inequality. Building upon our proposal, the relationship between the noise parameter and the certifiable randomness in a bipartite entangled state is probed. Furthermore, we derive a monogamy relationship between the average values of the parity-CHSH inequality associated with the reduced three-qubit density matrices of GHZ-class states comprising four qubits.

Tight upper bound on the quantum value of Svetlichny operators under local filtering and hidden genuine nonlocality

Nonlocal quantum correlations among the quantum subsystems play essential roles in quantum science. The violation of the Svetlichny inequality provides sufficient conditions of genuine tripartite nonlocality. We provide tight upper bounds on the maximal quantum value of the Svetlichny operators under local filtering operations, and present a qualitative analytical analysis on the hidden genuine nonlocality for three-qubit systems. We investigate in detail two classes of three-qubit states whose hidden genuine nonlocalities can be revealed by local filtering.

The reduction of the number of incoherent Kraus operations for qutrit systems

Quantum coherence is a fundamental property that can emerge within any quantum system. Incoherent operations, defined in terms of the Kraus decomposition, take an important role in state transformation. The maximum number of incoherent Kraus operators has been presented in [A. Streltsov, S. Rana, P. Boes, J. Eisert, Phys. Rev. Lett. 119. 140402 (2017)]. In this work, we show that the number of incoherent Kraus operators for a single qubit can be reduced from 5 to 4 by constructing a proper unitary matrix. For qutrit systems we further obtain 32 incoherent Kraus operators, while the upper bound in the research of Sterltsov gives 39 Kraus operators. Besides, we reduce the number of strictly incoherent Kraus operators from more than 15 to 13. And we consider the state transformation problem for these two types of operations in single qutrit systems.

Characterizing multipartite entanglement by violation of CHSH inequalities

Entanglement of high-dimensional and multipartite quantum systems offer promising perspectives in quantum information processing. However, the characterization and measure of such kind of entanglement is of great challenge. Here we consider the overlaps between the maximal quantum mean values and the classical bound of the CHSH inequalities for pairwise-qubit states in two-dimensional subspaces. We show that the concurrence of a pure state in any high-dimensional multipartite system can be equivalently represented by these overlaps. Here we consider the projections of an arbitrary high-dimensional multipartite state to two-qubit states. We investigate the non-localities of these projected two-qubit sub-states by their violations of CHSH inequalities. From these violations, the overlaps between the maximal quantum mean values and the classical bound of the CHSH inequality, we show that the concurrence of a high-dimensional multipartite pure state can be exactly expressed by these overlaps. We further derive a lower bound of the concurrence for any quantum states, which is tight for pure states. The lower bound not only imposes restriction on the non-locality distributions among the pairwise qubit states, but also supplies a sufficient condition for distillation of bipartite entanglement. Effective criteria for detecting genuine tripartite entanglement and the lower bound of concurrence for genuine tripartite entanglement are also presented based on such non-localities.

The norms of Bloch vectors and classification of four qudits quantum states

We investigate the norms of the Bloch vectors for any quantum state with subsystems less than or equal to four. Tight upper bounds of the norms are obtained, which can be used to derive tight upper bounds for entanglement measure defined by the norms of Bloch vectors. By using these bounds a trade-off relation of the norms of Bloch vectors is discussed. Theses upper bounds are then applied on separability. Necessary conditions are presented for different kinds of separable states in four-partite quantum systems. We further present a complete classification of quantum states for four qudits quantum systems.

Detection and measure of genuine tripartite entanglement with partial transposition and realignment of density matrices

It is challenging task to detect and measure genuine multipartite entanglement. We investigate the problem by considering the average based positive partial transposition(PPT) criterion and the realignment criterion. Sufficient conditions for detecting genuine tripartite entanglement are presented. We also derive lower bounds for the genuine tripartite entanglement concurrence with respect to the conditions. While the PPT criterion and the realignment criterion are powerful for detecting bipartite entanglement and for providing lower bounds of bipartite concurrences, our results give an effective operational way to detect and measure the genuine tripartite entanglement.

Measure and detection of genuine multipartite entanglement for tripartite systems

It is a computationally hard task to certify genuine multipartite entanglement (GME). We investigate the relation between the norms of the correlation vectors and the detection of GME for tripartite quantum systems. A sufficient condition for GME and an effective lower bound for the GME concurrence are derived. Several examples are considered to show the effectiveness of the criterion and the lower bound of GME concurrence.

Tight upper bound for the maximal quantum value of the Svetlichny operators

It is a challenging task to detect genuine multipartite nolocality (GMNL). In this paper, the problem is considered via computing the maximal quantum value of Svetlichny operators for three-qubit systems and a tight upper bound is obtained. The constraints on the quantum states for the tightness of the bound are also presented. The approach enables us to give the necessary and sufficient conditions of violating the Svetlichny inequalities (SI) for several quantum states, including the white and color noised GHZ states. The relation between the genuine multipartite entanglement concurrence and the maximal quantum value of the Svetlichny operators for mixed GHZ class states is also discussed. As the SI is useful for the investigation on GMNL, our results give an effective and operational method to detect the GMNL for three-qubit mixed states.
