Restriction theorem for the Fourier-Dunkl transform I: Cone surface

In this article, we define the Fourier-Dunkl transform, which generalizes the Fourier transform. We prove Strichartz's restriction theorem for the Fourier-Dunkl transform for a cone-hyper-surface and its generalisation to the family of orthonormal functions. As an application of this restriction theorem, we derive the Strichartz inequality associated with the square root of Dunkl Laplacian for the family of orthonormal functions.

Nonlinear fractional damped wave equation on compact Lie groups

In this paper, we deal with the initial value fractional damped wave equation on $G$, a compact Lie group, with power-type nonlinearity. The aim of this manuscript is twofold. First, using the Fourier analysis on compact Lie groups, we prove a local in-time existence result in the energy space for the fractional damped wave equation on $G$. Moreover, a finite time blow-up result is established under certain conditions on the initial data. In the next part of the paper, we consider fractional wave equation with lower order terms, that is, damping and mass with the same power type nonlinearity on compact Lie groups, and prove the global in-time existence of small data solutions in the energy evolution space.

Weighted Norm Inequalities for the Opdam--Cherednik Transform

In this paper, we study several weighted norm inequalities for the Opdam--Cherednik transform. We establish different versions of the Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl inequality for this transform. In particular, we give an extension of this inequality using weights with different exponents and present a variation of the inequality that incorporates $L^p$-norms for the Opdam--Cherednik transform. Also, we prove a version of the Hardy--Littlewood inequality for this transform. Finally, we give other variations of the Heisenberg--Pauli--Weyl inequality such as the Nash-type and Clarkson-type inequalities for the Opdam--Cherednik transform.

Orthonormal Strichartz inequalities for the $(k, a)$-generalized Laguerre operator and Dunkl operator

Let $Δ_{k,a}$ and $Δ_k $ be the $(k,a)$-generalized Laguerre operator and the Dunkl Laplacian operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$, respectively. The aim of this article is twofold. First, we prove a restriction theorem for the Fourier-$Δ_{k,a}$ transform. Next, as an application of the restriction problem, we establish Strichartz estimates for orthonormal families of initial data for the Schrödinger propagator $e^{-i t Δ_{k, a}} $ associated with the operator $ Δ_{k, a}$. Further, using the classical Strichartz estimates for the free Schrödinger propagator $e^{-i t Δ_{k, a}} $ for orthonormal systems of initial data and the kernel relation between the semigroups $e^{-i t Δ_{k, a}}$ and $e^{i \frac{t}{a}\|x\|^{2-a} Δ_{k}},$ we prove Strichartz estimates for orthonormal systems of initial data associated with the Dunkl operator $ Δ_k $ on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Finally, we present some applications to our aforementioned results.

Weighted periodic and discrete Pseudo-Differential Operators

In this paper, we study elements of symbolic calculus for pseudo-differential operators associated with the weighted symbol class $M_{ρ, Λ}^m(\mathbb{ T}\times \mathbb{Z})$ (associated to a suitable weight function $Λ$ on $\mathbb{Z}$) by deriving formulae for the asymptotic sums, composition, adjoint, transpose. We also construct the parametrix of $M$-elliptic pseudo-differential operators on $\mathbb{ T}$. Further, we prove a version of Gohberg's lemma for pseudo-differetial operators with weighted symbol class $M_{ρ, Λ}^0(\mathbb{ T}\times \mathbb{Z})$ and as an application, we provide a sufficient and necessary condition to ensure that the corresponding pseudo-differential operator is compact on $L^2(\mathbb{T})$. Finally, we provide Gårding's and Sharp Gårding's inequality for $M$-elliptic operators on $\mathbb{Z}$ and $\mathbb{T}$, respectively, and present an application in the context of strong solution of the pseudo-differential equation $T_σ u=f$ in $L^{2}\left(\mathbb{T}\right)$.

Estimates for the nonlinear viscoelastic damped wave equation on compact Lie groups

Let $G$ be a compact Lie group. In this article, we investigate the Cauchy problem for a nonlinear wave equation with the viscoelastic damping on $G$. More preciously, we investigate some $L^2$-estimates for the solution to the homogeneous nonlinear viscoelastic damped wave equation on $G$ utilizing the group Fourier transform on $G$. We also prove that there is no improvement of any decay rate for the norm $\|u(t,\cdot)\|_{L^2(G)}$ by further assuming the $L^1(G)$-regularity of initial data. Finally, using the noncommutative Fourier analysis on compact Lie groups, we prove a local in time existence result in the energy space $\mathcal{C}^1([0,T],H^1_{\mathcal L}(G)).$

Nonlinear fractional wave equation on compact Lie groups

Let $G$ be a compact Lie group. In this article, we consider the initial value fractional wave equation with power-type nonlinearity on $G$. Mainly, we investigate some $L^{2}-L^{2}$ estimates of the solutions to the homogeneous fractional wave equation on $G$ with the help of the group Fourier transform on $G$. Further, using the Fourier analysis on compact Lie groups, we prove a local in-time existence result in the energy space. Moreover, under certain conditions on the initial data, a finite time blow-up result is established. We also derive a sharp lifespan for local (in-time) solutions. Finally, we consider the space-fractional wave equation with a regular mass term depending on the position and study the well-posedness of the fractional Klein-Gordon equation on compact Lie groups.

Qualitative uncertainty principles for the windowed Opdam--Cherednik transform on weighted modulation spaces

The aim of this paper is to establish a few qualitative uncertainty principles for the windowed Opdam-Cherednik transform on weighted modulation spaces associated with this transform. In particular, we obtain the Cowling-Price's, Hardy's and Morgan's uncertainty principles for this transform on weighted modulation spaces. The proofs of the results are based on versions of the Phragm{é}n-Lindl{ö}f type result for several complex variables on weighted modulation spaces and the properties of the Gaussian kernel associated with the Jacobi-Cherednik operator.

Hausdorff operators associated with the Opdam--Cherednik transform in Lebesgue spaces

In this paper, we introduce the Hausdorff operator associated with the Opdam--Cherednik transform and study the boundedness of this operator in various Lebesgue spaces. In particular, we prove the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator in Lebesgue spaces, in grand Lebesgue spaces, and in quasi-Banach spaces that are associated with the Opdam--Cherednik transform. Also, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator in these spaces.

Szegö type limit theorems on the Heisenberg group

Let $\mathcal{H}=-Δ_{\mathbb{H}}+V$ be the Schrödinger operator on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$, where $Δ_{\mathbb{H}}$ is the full laplacian on $\mathbb{H}^n$ and $V$ is a positive smooth potential, bounded below and grows like $|g|^κ, κ>0$ for large $|g|$. Let $\mathcal{P}_{r}$ be the orthogonal projection of $L^2(\mathbb{H}^n)$ onto the space of eigenfunctions of $\mathcal{H}$ with eigenvalue $\leq r$; Let $A$ be a 0-th order self-adjoint pseudo-differential operator on $L^2(\mathbb{H}^n)$ relative to the operator $1+|λ|H+V(g), g\in \mathbb{H}^n, λ\in \mathbb{R}^*$ with symbol $a(g, λ),$ where $H$ is the Hermite operator on $L^2(\mathbb{R}^n)$ then \begin{align*} \lim_{r\to\infty} \frac{tr~{f(\mathcal{P}_rA\mathcal{P}_r)}}{tr~(\mathcal{P}_r)} &= \lim_{r\to\infty} \frac{\int_{G^{r}}f(a_{g, λ}(ξ, x)) \,dξ\,dx \,dg\,dμ(λ) }{\int_{G^{r}} \,dξ\,dx \,dg\,dμ(λ)}, \end{align*} (Assuming one limit exists) where $G^{r}=\{(g, λ, ξ, x)\in \mathbb{H}^n \times \mathbb{R}^*\times \mathbb{R}^n\times \mathbb{R}^n : |λ|(1+|ξ| ^2+|x|^2)+V(g)\leq r \}$, $a(g, λ)=Op^W(a_{g, λ})$, and $μ(λ)$ is the Plancherel measure on the Heisenberg group. Also we show that the above limit on the right hand side remains unaltered under a compact perturbation of the pseudo-differential operator $A$ or a perturbation of the Schrödinger operator $\mathcal{H}$ by bounded self-adjoint operators on $L^2(\mathbb{H}^n)$.

Symbolic calculus and $M$-ellipticity of pseudo-differential operators on $\mathbb{Z}^n$

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of pseudo-differential operators on the lattice $\mathbb{Z}^n$. More preciously, we consider a weighted symbol class $M_{ρ, Λ}^m(\mathbb{ Z}^n\times \mathbb{T}^n), m\in \mathbb{R}$ associated to a suitable weight function $Λ$ on $\mathbb{ Z }^n$. We study elements of the symbolic calculus for pseudo-differential operators associated with $M_{ρ, Λ}^m(\mathbb{ Z}^n\times \mathbb{T}^n)$ by deriving formulae for the composition, adjoint, transpose. We define the notion of $M$-ellipticity for symbols belonging to $M_{ρ, Λ}^m(\mathbb{ Z}^n\times \mathbb{T}^n)$ and construct the parametrix of $M$-elliptic pseudo-differential operators. Further, we investigate the minimal and maximal extensions for $M$-elliptic pseudo-differential operators and show that they coincide on $\ell^2(\mathbb{Z}^n)$ subject to the $M$-ellipticity of symbols. We also determine the domains of the minimal and maximal operators. Finally, We discuss Fredholmness and compute the index of $M$-elliptic pseudo-differential operators on $\mathbb{Z}^n$.

A note on Singular integral

In this paper, we prove that for $\frac{n}{2}+\frac{1}{4}<α\leq\frac{n+1}{2} $, the convolution operator $$S_α f(x)=\int_{|y| \geq 1} f(x-y)\left(|y|^{2}-1\right)^{-α} d y$$ is bounded from $L^p$ to $L^q$ for certain values of $p$ and $q$.

Boundedness and Nuclearity of pseudo-differential operators on Homogeneous Trees

Let $\x$ be the homogeneous tree of degree $q+1~(q\geq2)$. In this article, we present symbolic criteria for boundedness of pseudo-differential operators on homogeneous tree $\x$. A sufficient condition for weak type $(p, q)$ boundedness is also given. We present necessary and sufficient conditions on the symbols $σ$ such that the corresponding pseudo-differential operators $T_σ$ from $L^{p_1} (\x)$ into $L^{p_2} (\x)$ to be nuclear for $1\leq p_1, p_2<\infty$. We show that the adjoint of the nuclear operator from $L^{p_2'}(\x)$ into $L^{p_1'}(\x)$ is again a nuclear operator. Explicit formulas for the symbol of the adjoint and product of the nuclear pseudo differential operators on $\x$ are given.

Schatten Class and nuclear pseudo-differential operators on homogeneous spaces of compact groups

Given a compact (Hausdorff) group $G$ and a closed subgroup $H$ of $G,$ in this paper we present symbolic criteria for pseudo-differential operators on compact homogeneous space $G/H$ characterizing the Schatten-von Neumann classes $S_r(L^2(G/H))$ for all $0<r \leq \infty.$ We go on to provide a symbolic characterization for $r$-nuclear, $0< r \leq 1,$ pseudo-differential operators on $L^{p}(G/H)$-space with applications to adjoint, product and trace formulae. The criteria here are given in terms of the concept of matrix-valued symbols defined on noncommutative analogue of phase space $G/H \times \widehat{G/H}.$ Finally, we present applications of aforementioned results in the context of heat kernels.
